Chapter 237

While Jack was roaming in outer space and sacrificing his life for the cause of stopping the mad titan, The Heroes on Earth weren't standing by idly, especially now that Jack was gone, unlike before when he left a powerful clone behind, the team was alone.

Their whole gimmick lied on either having Thor or Jack as a powerful attacker, the first real threat had knocked on their doors,

AIM, led by what could only be called an abomination, said to have a giant head that was bigger then his whole body, the man child was truly smart, smart enough to strike while the iron was hot.

As the Avengers sat in the meeting room,

Tony, Fury, Natasha, Clint, Logan, Bucky looked at each other,

"Is this everyone, I half expected the twins to show up." Tony spoke up,

"They need time to come to terms, for now, this is everyone, Thor isn't available for some reason." Captain replied.

"I am sorry, does a giant guy that has a head bigger than my whole body not warrant for us to call my bro." Tony retorted.

They had been targeted by AIM, an organization that was set out to destroy them, and they knew next to nothing about it, except for the fact that Aldrich Killian was once a member.

"I know that, but I think it's best we do the work on Earth, while Cedric works in outer space."

Captain said with a tone of finality, and no matter how many guts everyone had, they wouldn't question Steve, the guy was to be respected.

Well, except for Tony and Fury.

"So, now that we have come to a standstill about what to do, this is all the info we have on AIM." Fury stood up and pointed at the hologram.

"Which means we have nothing, you except me to believe that it's a pharmaceutical organization." Tony scoffed as he poured himself some fire whiskey.

"Exactly, we have nothing, though our last skirmish with them has revealed that they were associated with organizations like Hydra, Hand, Hellfire and even had some contact with the brother hood of humanity." Fury said as he pulled up several picture.

"Brotherhood of what now!" Buckley asked.

"It's an organization aimed to destroy and kill all mutants." Logan took a swing of his booze as he replied,

"have you had any contact with them." Steve asked.

"Yeah, many times, they are just hypocrite bastards, using the general fear to their advantage, I remember seeing people being experimented when I breached one If their hidden labs with the X-Men."

The group talked for a while, and after solidating some points, Steve tasked every member to do their task.

Logan was to help find the location of any Brotherhood of the the humans, While Bucky was tasked with looking for the Hand,which had gone quiet after a while, probably hiding in the dark.

Tony was tasked with coming up with contingency plans against whatever they find, and assist when the need arises.

Natasha and Clint were given tasks similar to Logan.

"So, I know you guys said so, but maybe we should include that kid spiderman in our plans, I think he is ready to be joining the avengers,I mean, the ace of our team thought he was ready." Tony implied, to which he only received sighs.

In fact, even Jack was told not to do such thing when he suggested it, but who was Tony, he was someone that like to spit in the face of orders.

Jack who was spending his time eating dinner with Jean...and Bruce, suddenly heard a ding,

For others it's a sign that they have a notification, but for Jack, it's a sign that either his system is up to something, or his phone is going off.

Looking at his wrist, the thing lights up, Jack reads the notification and turns solemn, the two people on the table also recognize that face.

Jack doesn't respond and just forwards what he saw.

Upon looking at the video, they all release a breath of air.

"I must say...the internet thing you did,I must say that was a good one, let's go and do this." Bruce replied as he stood up.

On one of the many planets, a species was being held captive by their prisoners, they didn't even know that others like them existed outside of their home planet, as they were much like Earthlings.

Unaware of the outsiders, Then suddenly, one day an armada of blue beings descended and started taking them hostage, it didn't even take them a week to be considered.

Countless were executed and trapped, their fates unknown as they were held like dogs and sheeps by their captors,

Inside one of the many holding cells, a couple of women were huddled together, only God knew what they had been through ever since that day the aliens came.

"Sinni! did you do it." One of the woman asked, like all others, her skin tone was yellow, and she had a horn on her forehead like all others of her species who had gone through adulthood.

"Yes I did, I have been able to get some info, and I think we have just this one chance to do something about what's happening." Sinni, another women replied as she handed over the communication device she had 'borrowed' from the aliens that invaded her home.

"We must hurry, it won't be long before they notice it missing." She reminded her fellow women as she gave the communication to the one who asked her.

After a moment of contemplation, they were able to understand how to use the device, the problem. was, they had no idea what to do afterwards.

Their thoughts were that since bad aliens existed, good ones may exist as well, and seeing the various videos and news bullets on the communicator, the doubt had been proved correct.

"We can't just go ahead and post about this, like going and announcing that."
