Jack watched as Peter boarded his ship and left Xandar, it was time they did as well, Although the truth was hard, it was better for Peter to know about it than to not know the whole thing and cause a possible extinction-level event.

'Though I might get some power up if I can eat up Ego, and Peter won't have to lose his cosmic powers since I will be inheriting them, in a way, I will be his father.

Jack thought about a joke as he turned around and met up with his crew, which consisted of Bruce, Jean and himself.

it was a small crew but one that had the power of several armies, Jack entered the ship and found Bruce meditating, it's really hard to not know what is happening around you when you have highly enhanced senses.

Meditation has allowed Bruce and Hulk to come closer than ever, Jack thought about his next course of action, Aimlessly travelling the universe will be a hassle, and he needs to have some purpose.

As he is a hero, maybe it's time the whole galaxy also got to see him, Jack went ahead and started messing around and the whole galaxy and beyond will know that he is available.

Many factors were involved, and Jack shook his head and focused on the task at hand, sending out his olive branch to all corners of the world, as long as the cause is just, he will come for help.

He could just snap his fingers and dig out the said rat, but he didn't want the people to become lazy asses.

'What if the people become so numb to danger that they just look up and see a meteor falling on them, just to ignore it because superman is always there to save them, they should have a sense of fear or some other drive.' - Jack thought.

Although the post was published on all possible alien social networks, it still didn't gain that much attention, but it had only been ten minutes so maybe he needed to wait for a little.

By the time he was done, Jean had arrived, as always, she had her hands full of bags, buying stuff here and there.

Upon asking, Jack found out she was buying stuff for the kids in Xavier's school for the gifted, Although Jack had problems with Charles, that didn't mean he had any bad thoughts about the others in the school.

He even slightly regretted his previous actions of being violent, he should have talked things out, the events around that time had forced him to act in a not so nice way.

He had half expected to meet a super passed off Xavier later down the line but no such thing has happened. Xavier had come to accept his mistake, and was now only a fund giver to the school.

Though some characters have a negative image of him now, but he doesn't mind it one bit...well, he does mind a little when the story goddess herself looks at him with cold glaring eyes.

Jack even expected Jean to be angry with him, but she didn't blame him one bit for what he did, although she often says they should have done this together.

As Jean was putting the gifts through the portal, Jack closed his communicator and smiled at her, she was looking really beautiful, ever since during the trip, Jack has realized one thing, and that is his feelings for the girl before him.

Well, he already knew about it, but never had the chance or perhaps, the courage to actualize them. He still doesn't know how to go about this, and considering how Jean acts around him, he knows she wants him to make the first move.

"This is harder than it looks." Jack thought as he put away the present in his storage.

"What is?" Jean asked as she heard Jack speak.

"Nothing." he continued, "What did you buy this time."

"Not much, new clothes for everyone at Xaviers, Some toys for the little kids and that heat seeker toy we were playing with yesterday, oh! and a hoverboard for Kurt." She whispered.

The reason she whispered was because this was a surprise for everyone back at home and suddenly hearing the voices of ghosts in the middle of the night will spook anyone.

"Hmm, I could have just made them with my ability." He said.

To which Jean gave a dead eye as she sighed and said "Don't ruin the fun, and besides, this shows that I care for them, a gift without a price has no value... at least in my books." Jean said In a soft voice.

Though Jack knew what she was implying, or maybe he was overreacting by thinking this was a sign from Jean that some simple ass necklace wasn't gonna cut it,

'Wait! does she already know.' The thought entered Jack's mind?

By the time Jack was done with his inner thoughts, Jean was also done with her task.

Then they went ahead and called over Bruce, who was done with his meditation, deciding it was time to eat since everyone was hungry, Jack also nodded as his free food was interrupted by star lord.
