After destroying the camp and freeing the prisoners, they break radio silence and have a plane come under radar and land at the designated spot we agreed to days ago. Everyone is ok for the most part, but the freed metahumans need proper care. When the vehicles were getting close to the pick-up point, they heard shooting, and when they made their way over a hill, they saw a few trucks with German soldiers firing at a small defensive spot and the plane they needed to get back.
"Damn, Adam, get to the defensive line and help them, get everyone on the plane, and get ready to leave. James and Victor, come with me to take them out." Steve orders, and everyone acts on his commands.
So while Adam continued on, Steve and the brothers jumped down and rushed the enemies, distracting them long enough for their vehicles to get to the plane. With the rest of the howling commandos, use one truck for cover as they fire on the enemies. While Adam helps the meta-humans onto the plane and makes sure they're ready. With everything happening, the fighting stopped as soon as the Germans were dead, but that wasn't the end; they heard herd rumbling and spotted a bunch more trucks and a tank moving toward them.
"Everyone get on it now!" Adam yells, and after everyone on board, the enemy's were too close and would fire at the plane, and before anyone could say anything, the brothers hopped out of the plane and turned to us.
"Get going; we'll keep the focus on us while you fly out of here and get those people someplace safe," James says, turning back to face the enemy.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Steve asked
"Ya, you were willing; you saved us, so we're just returning the favor," Victor said. "And after this, we'll make our way to an ally base or something."
"Ok, good luck," Steve tells him.
"Hey, you two watch out for each other. I know you both have an animal side, but never let anyone say that you're just that; you're both meta-humans and better than them, and you're better than animals, your heroes." Adam tells them as the plane starts taking off, leaving the two looking at the plane for a bit with smiles, then turning to the ground and rushing at them in full force.
With them covering their escape, the plane took off with no problem and started to make its way to London. So, having time to kill, Adam goes over to Eric and his family to talk.
"How are you all holding up?" Adam asked.
"We were still scared and shaken but happy to still be together." Eric's mother says, and after a bit of small talk, Adam turns to Eric.
"So that man was trying to force you to use your ability, right?"
"Yes, when they were separating us, I tried to get back to my mother and was able to bend a metal gate while they were trying to take me away. That monster heard me and wanted me to show him a coin or he would shoot my mother. But then you showed up and stopped him. Thank you." Eric tells him and then hugs Adam, who pats him on the back. While hearing a familiar ding.
"You're all safe now, but with your power, people will be afraid, so you'll have to be careful. This will be a classified mission, and we'll help you get to America, settle down there, and watch over you. Now Eric, with your power, don't ever let it change you; you're a meta-human now. Never think you're above regular humans, as your origin and powers don't give you the right to act inhumane, okay?" Adam tells the boy, hoping to change a future villain into a hero instead.
"I will," Eric says, nodding.
After that, the ride was quiet, with everyone trying to sleep. When they got back to London, the meta-humans were taken care of while the team went to report everything.
"So these metahumans can just pop up anywhere in the world and have random powers?" Colonel Phillips asked after reading the reports.
"Yes, sir," Steve says.
"But if the rate of their showing up increases in the future, we need to lay the groundwork to help them and to protect their rights." Adam adds
"You know that's going to be almost impossible, right?"
"For now, yes, but if we start right now in the future, it won't be."
"Pffh, alright, I'll look into it and find those that can help. Now go get some rest; you'll be busy soon."

After the Strategic Scientific Reserve had managed to crack HYDRA's encryption codes and were able to listen in on their radio communications, confirmation that Dr. Zola, the head Hydra researcher, was on a train traveling through the Central Eastern Alps along the Danube River. Tasked with capturing Zola, Steve leads the howling commandos in preparation. Posted on a nearby cliff overlooking the tracks, waiting for the train.
