The Unyielding Destiny

In the heart of the research hall, I beheld you encased within the capsule, your long silver locks shimmering like strands of moonlit silk, exuding an air of elegance and refinement.

Amidst the clamor of the room, your crimson eyes flared with an intensity akin to that of a predatory gaze, commanding attention with their fierce and unwavering focus.

Your complexion, as pale as moon-kissed alabaster, possessed an ethereal radiance, casting you as an otherworldly figure amidst the chaos.

As you reached out your delicate hands towards me, I couldn't resist breaking open the capsule and enfolding you in my coat, cradling you in my arms as though protecting a part of my own past desires for salvation.

Encountering you stirred within me a torrent of questions about my own existence, leaving me to ponder the cruel whims of fate.

"Am I condemned to be a merciless killer, much like Marionet?"

"Ater! I've found two more children alive," Magia's voice cut through my reverie, grounding me back to reality.

"What about the others?"

Magia shook her head.

I was once again reminded of the atrocities we endured.

"Rafael, could you attend to the children?"

I beckoned to Rafael, our healer, the number 03 who had escaped alongside me. 

"What shall we do with these children?" Magia wondered aloud.

The child in my arms clung to me, silently pleading not to be abandoned."Fear not, little one. I won't leave you," I reassured him.

"And what's your name? I can't simply call you 'kid' forever."

"Luci," the child replied shyly."Luci, would you like to stay with us? We'll protect you until we find your family," I offered.

Luci nodded earnestly.Turning to the other two children, I inquired, "And what are your names? Would you like to join us too?"

The twin siblings exchanged a glance before the boy, Kenshio, spoke up.

"I'm Kenshio, and my sister here is Morvella. We'd be grateful to stay with you. Our parents were killed by these people while trying to abduct us."

"How heartless!" Rafael's anger flared.

"Rest assured, we'll take care of you."

"Let's head back home, then," I suggested to the group.

Luci looked up.

"Home?"

"Yes, home."

Luci seemed on the verge of tears.

"What's wrong?" I asked, feeling overwhelmed.

"What can I do? I've never raised a child before."

Rafael chuckled, breaking the tension.

"Magia, he's just a big kid himself, isn't he? Strong as he is, he still hides his vulnerability with his stone face. I wish he'd lean on us more and embrace a semblance of normalcy."

"yes, that idiot is someone who acts tough yet still weak as a newborn."

Rafael patted Magia's head," You are too."

Magia blushed so hard," YOU.....Let's get going already."

"Haha, yes ."Rafael stole a glance at Luci, a perplexed expression crossing his face.

He saw sinister on Luci's face.

"Huh? Maybe I'm just seeing things, but why would a child smile like that? And why doesn't my ability work on him?" he muttered, expressing a concern that resonated with all of us.

But He concealed his concern, unwilling to disrupt the peace.
