Mothers Are The Best

I walked straight to my bed and laid down feeling sorrow for myself. Home alone which is not so bad, it will give space to have a clear head.

My phone rang and I picked it up, mom was on the call. I am sure she heard about her granddaughter already.

   "Mom"

I murmured.

"Jenny, are you okay?"

She asked. That was the least of the questions I expected her to ask. I can't remember calling her to say I am not okay.

"I am fine, mom. Did something happen?"

"Yes, Zain told me about your allergy. Is it too serious? Do you need to come home, let me look after you?"

I was mute for a while. This could be the best opportunity to escape from Zain but then how long will I continue to run. I need to face my fears once and for all.

"No, mom. I will be fine. Remember Susan just delivered. She needs me right here. You know my allergy will go sooner or later so don't worry about me"

I assured her and I heard her sighing in the background.

"I trust you to do that. You know what, I have changed my mind. I am visiting"

She blatantly said which came as a surprise to me. The way she said she changed her mind sounded  like she mentioned it before.

"Mom, you don't expect you and I to be here at once. You know what is going to happen, since I planned on staying for a month plus, I make it two weeks and you can come after"

I suggested and she went silent.

"Okay"

She responded after a while,

"I will call via video call to see the baby today. I am not sure if they will come back today regarding the CS"

"I don't think so, mummy. She needs to stay at the Hospital for now. It's a pity I can't visit her while she is in the Hospital"

"It's fine my darling, don't be hard on yourself. It's not your fault"

I smiled hearing what she said. Mothers are the best. Even when the world criticizes you, they will always stand by you.

  "Thanks Mom"

"Alright pumpkin, take care of yourself. I will call later, bye"

She said and the call went off.

I smiled and rose from the bed. Staying here and feeling sorry for myself would not be the best way to combat cramps.

I decided to pay June and Thomas a visit. They will be happy to see me.

Tasha's point of view….

Ever since the TD game, I have been cringing inside. I can't believe I am dared to date Terren by my ass of a brother. He knows what he did and he is not even sorry because at some point I find him smirking at me.

We were actually watching FOREVER YOURS on KC's laptop. I had to keep asking myself why a movie like that would be on a boy's laptop but then I don't know him so well except that he is Trucy's friend.

He did not play T&D with us. I can't tell why. He left the living room before Tessy and I could return from getting the popcorn.

And speaking of Tessy, she was seated in between Trucy and Bruce who had his hands on her shoulders. The look on her face did not speak peace at all and she can murder if given the permission.

Despite my predicament, I found myself smiling at the expression on her face. I can relate so well with what she is going through at the moment because I am going through similar stuff.

I sat in between Bruno and Terren while KC sat between Terren and Bruce. He had to be the only one without popcorn which I wanted to ask him why but stopped. I don't want to give Trucy the wrong signal before he thinks I like KC.

Terren stopped watching and focused his gaze on me. My eyes were fixed on the laptop but I could see him with my edges.

"I hope you are not angry about the whole one week stuff? You don't have to do it, you know"

He said timidly. He has always been the shy dude among them.

I tore my eyes off the laptop and stared at him.

"You don't have to worry, I am cool with it"

I said and pecked him on the cheeks. It wasn't his fault and I am not backing out. Maybe I could get Jenny through him.
