Chapter 12 Future Decision

After the whole big fight with the Doom Patrol's enemies, I began to rethink my future decision about this whole being a superhero gig.

I know being a superhero can be a good thing, give hope, and help others, but there must be another way to do that. Then I got to think with the whole justice league policy on no killing, there will be a major downside to that. People like joker, Victor Zsasz, Mad Hatter, Black Mask and many more are beyond help. And most of them are in Gotham.

And Gotham a place full of darkness, corruption, and criminal can never rehabilitate the other villain since those people in Arkham do not help in any way at all. They either just escape, experimented with the likes of Hugo Strange, or soldier for Waller's love child.

After cleaning the attack's damage, the Chief, Robotman, Dorothy, Tempest, and Negative Man will go stay with Danny the Street. Elastic girl will be going with Mento to his home. And I will be going back to Gotham.

Gotham 1999

I finally arrive in Gotham. It took a while. On my travel to Gotham I manage to help a homeless man out. And it was revealed that he was a veteran soldier. Once was a soldier in one of American secret undercover groups. Train from childhood with the art of manipulation, stealth and strategy, and mastery on many weapons, a man named Joseph Colton (An OC that created so mc can have someone to guide him in weaponry and others)

Even after my training with O-sensei, I was also taught other fighting styles mostly fighting styles that kill. He also taught me how to handle weapons such as swords,knife, and many guns. He taught me to manipulate people, infiltrate places, and many other great skill. And with my intelligent and photographic memory, it was easy for me to master the skill he taught me in a fraction of a time.

He also helps me face my fear of killing since i was determined to end the villain beyond help. I need to have the stomach to it. So he asks me to help kill one of his former teammate.

Unlike Colton, his teammate is one of the worst kinds of people. He was also in the same squad as Colton back in the days before Colton deserted the team because he never agrees with their action.

The squad Colton in was an undercover squad, a group that never exist on paper. They went and kill anybody that the government deem as a threat .(basically, their group are Winter soldiers like in marvel)

On one of the missions, Colton realizes that the people he took were not all bad people, some are innocent and in the end he snaps and deserted the squad.

The guy that Colton wanted me to kill is the worst. He is the captain of the squad, he knows that the victims are innocent and he enjoys killing them. He was the one that kills everybody that Colton ever care. His family, friend, and soulmate.

To strengthen my will, i did not use my main power, i use everything i learn from Colton. I manage to infiltrate his home and kidnap him. I then proceed to torture him with Colton. Until in the end he died from all that pain. After that incident, Colton just disappear.

Now that I'm back at Gotham i went back to Gotham university and start preparing my plan for the future.
