Night attack: Battered Kain

"Of course, young master," the knight commander said, licking his lips and looking at the cold woman beside  Kain, knowing what this young master will do to  Tesia.

"You heard the young master go kill them all except the women,"

When  Tark,  Zaban,  Kain, and  Tesia  heard that, their bodies tensed up because they knew the knights of Shane would kill them and show no mercy because they were serious about their complete annihilation.

Enraged by what he'd heard about  Tesia,  Kain  dashed forward, raising his broadsword with his right arm and slashing his sword at the knights charging at them.

Bang

A loud noise was made as the knight parried Kain's sword with his own sword.

"Don't underestimate me, you damn dog of a knight."  Kain  summoned the immense power of his bloodline, allowing him to double his own strength and speed for the next ten minutes.

"Pfft, argh," bang...

Unlike  Kain, who was nearing the peak of a one-star level, the knight fighting  Kain  died instantly as his body was sliced so easily without even fighting; he was only a one-star mid-level, which was slightly weaker than  Kain.

He was only able to parry and receive  Kain's strike because  Kain  was weakened, and his right arm was bleeding profusely from fighting the monster on the left wing, where he was stationed, before he was able to return to the center of the camp.

"How dare you kill my friend," one of the knights was enraged as he saw his friend die on  Kain's broadsword. The knight raised his sword, ready to pierce  Kain's heart.

Kain  was about to defend himself when he felt a slight chill pass through him. Before he knew what it was, it was on the enemy knight, who was able to defend himself because he saw  Tesia  chant something and raise his wand towards him.

Bang...

"Tsk, don't interrupt us women; if the young master didn't want you, you'd be lying on the ground lifeless," the knight said as he defended himself from the ice spear, an enraged expression on his face as he looked at  Tesia  and  Kain.

"Even if your young master desired me, he would be unable to do so because I will never allow myself to be defiled by all of you."  Tesia  raised her wand again and chanted, creating five ice spears while nodding to  Kain  to coordinate with her attack and instantly kill the knight.

She is aware of   Kain's limit, and with  Kain's body weakening, she is aware that the time limit was much shorter. Unlike mage, who use  mana  to cast spells and enchant, bloodline users fight with their own stamina, and as the fight progresses, their stamina is also burned, weakening them until they can no longer stand.

According to  Tesia's estimation of  Kain's strength, he could only hold his strength for three minutes because  Kain  was heavily buttered and his breathing was shaky. She felt helpless as she watched the man she loved struggle to protect her. Despite  Kain's damn about it, she admired his personality and actions, and as a result, she fell in love with the damn  Kain.

If only she could cast a healing spell, but such affinity was extremely rare, and the spell itself was extremely valuable and too expensive for her to afford as a mage.

"Haah!"  Tesia  launched five ice spears at the  knight, hoping to put him on the defensive and distract him so that  Kain could deal with the final blow himself.

Tesia  predicted that the knight would defend by waving his sword in different directions to deflect the ice spear. And he did as predicted because he was too proud of his speed and swiftness, but what the knight didn't expect was  Kain's explosive strength and speed. With his bloodline activated, he thought he was the fastest, but  Kain  shattered that pride as he was unable to react to  Kain's slashing sword, and with another five ice spears coming at him, he was unable to choose between blocking any of the attacks. He only knew his body was on the ground, with blood pouring from his chest and three ice spears inserted into his heart and right arm, before he died.

"Remember not to be too haughty in your next life,"  Kain  said, looking at the dead body on the ground.

"Well, you two are extremely powerful; unfortunately, you joined the wrong side of the party."

The knight captain appeared in front of  Kain, who was unable to defend himself as he was punched with the knight captain's full strength.

Bang...

"Pfft"  Kain  was thrown towards the tent, destroying it, and was unable to stand for a moment due to an internal injury from the punch.

"Kain? How dare you bastard?"  Tesia  chanted as she made an ice spear and ice spike on the ground, enraged by the  knight  captain of Shane's actions.

Boom…

Boom... A cold breeze and ice appeared on the ground, causing ice spikes to come towards the knight captain with the intent to kill, as  Tesia  only wants to kill the knight captain for seriously injuring  Kain.

Boom… But, to her surprise, the knight captain easily destroyed her attack by simply waving his sword, this was her first time seeing such a huge gap in strength, as she didn't feel this inferior against the orc she had just faced before; even Zion wouldn't be much to him, she reasoned.

"Mages are a fascinating group of people. Such a spell is potent, but you're not strong enough to kill me."

The knight captain licked his lips before continuing his speech, looking  Tesia  up and down.

"But killing and injuring you would be a waste of time, so why not first entertain my young master?

And when he's finished,

Hmm, then entertain me and my knights, so you can atone for your sin and that heinous crime of murdering two of our companions."

Tesia  got goosebumps as she shook and felt dread at the words; she couldn't even hold her  wand  because the shaking wouldn't stop.

"Don... Don't yo... pfft... Don't you dare touch  Tesia  Bastard Knight , or I will kill you."  Kain  used all of his strength to force his body to stand up, even though it was shaking in pain.

"Hahaha, kill me!

What can you do when you're outnumbered by us and your injured friends are dying in the hands of my soldiers as we speak? Hahaha."

Kain  kneeled down as his body gave up on standing up; the only reason he was able to stand up was because of his unyielding will and desire to protect his friends.

"Kain!"  Tesia  dashed towards  Kain, but was stopped dead in her tracks by the Knight captain.

"Come on, don't waste our time; come with me and accompany the young master as he watches the destruction of this entire camp."
