Experiment Records and Evolutionary Levels

Day 1: Tested various aspects of Grey Shadow.

After ingesting enough energy, its strength increased by 30%, its top speed increased by 5m/s, and there were significant improvements in its neural reflexes and other areas.

Moreover, its intelligence is progressing. I've decided to teach it human writing and language. Perhaps it can achieve the cognitive level of an average human.

Further observation is required.

Day 2: Collected some food. To avoid attracting attention by purchasing a large amount of meat in a short period, I brought Grey Shadow to the seaside. We caught prey in the deep sea, gathering more than half a ton of food.

After evolving, Grey Shadow's appetite has grown. It consumed over 500 kilograms of food – the food converted into energy made its body stronger. A stronger body, in turn, uses the energy from the food more efficiently. This is a perfect positive cycle.

However, today's growth in Grey Shadow has decreased significantly, its strength only increased by 10%, and its top speed by about 3m/s. It seems the enhancement from the evolution blood has a limit. I am curious to find out where this limit lies.

Continuing to teach it various general knowledge and exposing it to different cultural works. Grey Shadow was indeed attracted, spending the whole day watching movies on a tablet. It likes Snoopy but despises Garfield because Garfield likes to mock silly dogs. However, it finds joy in scenes where Garfield faces challenges.

Moreover, during the process of converting food into energy, it excretes a lot of waste. To describe it with a human sense of smell – it's quite pungent.

Day 10: Grey Shadow's food intake has sharply declined. Today, it only consumed a few dozen kilograms of food and felt full. Also, there were no further improvements in its physical qualities. It seems that this is the limit of its bodily growth. From now on, energy will be primarily used to maintain cellular life.

At the same time, my attempt to teach Grey Shadow human knowledge has been somewhat successful. It now recognizes thousands of words, types proficiently on a tablet, and can communicate on anile forums without being detected. Although its vocal cords differ from humans, it manages to produce human-like sounds, albeit they sound very strange. For now, it is most proficient at pronouncing words starting with 'w' but struggles with words beginning with 'k'.

Based on current observations, Grey Shadow's personality and intelligence level are comparable to a typical human teenager.

Day 13: Started researching a new biological subject. To differentiate the experimental subjects, I found a black hawk from the mountains. After being enhanced by the evolution blood, its body grew significantly, and its wingspan increased. Its flying speed evolved from 30m/s to 190m/s.

The bond established by the evolution blood allows me to "hear" its thoughts, just like with Grey Shadow.

By consuming a vast amount of food, it established an energy cycle system similar to Grey Shadow's. With the support of this energy, its body evolved rapidly, with all physical qualities improving by about 20%.

I named the black hawk Black Moon. The baptism of the evolution blood has given Black Moon intelligence comparable to Grey Shadow's initial state. However, Grey Shadow and Black Moon don't get along well, frequently showing disdain for one another. Grey Shadow roars at Black Moon, while the latter mockingly circles it in the sky.

Day 20: Just as I did with Grey Shadow, I conducted a study on Black Moon regarding the "energy supply and physical quality growth exponential formula". Like Grey Shadow, Black Moon reached its physical peak and experienced a sharp reduction in appetite.

However, the process of infusing human knowledge into Black Moon has been an initial success. It too has learned a plethora of words and can communicate using human language online. It doesn't enjoy anime but loves live-action movies, especially sci-fi. Whenever it sees magnificent special effects and metallic visuals, it perches on my shoulder, preening its feathers while gazing intently.

Due to completely different vocal organs, Black Moon can't produce human speech through its throat. But surprisingly, it taught itself to produce human-like sounds using air from its abdomen, reminiscent of ventriloquism in martial arts novels. The sound is deep and distant because it originates from the abdomen. Black Moon doesn't like speaking this way; it prefers sharp and clear sounds, similar to its calls when flying.

I also bought a tablet specifically for Black Moon. Its long claws are not suitable for control, so it uses a stylus with a sleeve to operate efficiently.

"Based on the previous observation records, the following conclusions can be drawn:

Lifeforms baptized by the 'Evolutionary Blood' will experience a rapid improvement in their physical attributes, transcending the limitations of life.

After evolution, these lifeforms enter a 'Rapid Growth Phase'. The duration of this phase varies, with records of eight days and eleven days so far. During this phase, they quickly harness energy from external sources to promote their own evolution, achieving continuous growth in physical attributes.

After the 'Rapid Growth Phase', they enter a 'Stagnation Phase'. Energy taken from external sources can only maintain their existence, and they can't undergo further high-level evolution. There's yet to be a known method to break through this phase.

Lifeforms baptized by the 'Evolutionary Blood' form a mysterious 'connection' with me. I can hear their 'inner voices', sense the conditions within their bodies, and give them commands.

Non-human organisms baptized by the 'Evolutionary Blood' also experience a leap in intelligence, allowing them to understand human emotions and appreciate human creations."

Seeing Grey Shadow, Black Moon, and myself, I decided to establish a basic system to measure each individual's level of evolution.

Using my initial self, before awakening my superpower, as the starting point and marking its physical quality as Level 0, then after about ten days of enhancement, my physical quality would be Level 1. One hundred days later, it would be Level 10.

Therefore, by this standard, each level is approximately 10.46% stronger than the previous level. Every ten levels represent about 2.7 times the original strength.

I've named this system the 'Evolutionary Levels'. According to this standard, Grey Shadow's current strength is around Level 63, speed Level 59, burst strength Level 61, neural response speed Level 64, and physical toughness Level 63... Overall rating: Level 62.

Black Moon's strength is Level 57, speed Level 62, burst strength Level 60, neural response speed Level 65, and physical toughness Level 62... Overall rating: Level 61.

As for myself, I'm exceptionally average in all respects, and since this system was derived from me – my current evolutionary level stands at 367. Of course, no matter what, I naturally grow by 36.5 or 36.6 levels each year. This entire concept is just a fabrication."
