Winter

It was this time of the year when houses were decorated with wreath and candle light. Ariel remembered her father and mother used to decorate the christmas tree near their house. Those were great memories.

Since she moved on with her life, she is now serving her new master. The mansion was huge and maids running across the room with decoration for the Winter Festival. Ariel cannot wait for the festival. It was her favorite time of the year. Though her parents passed on, that does not mean she is going to be depressed all the time. She helped a few maids decorating the house and getting ready for the festival.

"It's our young master birthday today. Sadly his mother died on this day. I bet he is all cooped up in his room right now." Gabby said. She was one of the maid that helped young master before. Ariel was thankful for her new master. He has given her the freedom she wanted.

"Ariel, do you mind taking these snacks up for the young master?" A young maid gave her the dishes filled with her master's favorite food. Ariel nodded. The maid tapped on her shoulder and warned her, "Please watch out for him today. Make sure his aunt doesn't enter." Ariel nodded.

"Our young master is not like himself today. If he sees someone he hated, he could go crazy. Be careful, Ariel." The young maid said her goodbye and left Ariel alone. She sighed and went up to Han Jun's room. Ariel didn't know what she meant by crazy. Oh well, she thought.

Night time approached, she entered the room. Han Jun was standing against the window, looking outside. Ariel quietly placed the food on the table.

"Master, eat something. You haven't eaten anything this morning." Ariel went beside Han Jun and tugged on his shirt. Suddenly he pulled Ariel against his chest, his eyes were bright

red.

"M-Master? Are you okay?" Ariel gulped. She was frightened but she decided to face her fears.

"Master?" Han Jun's eyes turned back to normal. She gave a sigh of relief. Han Jun released her.

"I'm sorry. I'll explain it to you tonight. Stay with me." Ariel nodded.

It was already late after the winter festival. Ariel had a great time with the other maids as they celebrated Christmas Eve. Only Han Jun didn't go but stayed in his room. He gave her some time to herself and enjoy the festival. Ariel thanked the maids and went back to change in her room. Suddenly a black cat was at the door. It purred against Ariel's dress.

"Hi there, what is your name?" The cat meowed and looked back at her. Ariel followed the black cat to the room at the end of the hallway. It was Master Han Jun. Was this his cat, she thought? When she opened the door, Master Han Jun's eyes were both bright red, his nails grew, his hair became long. Ariel didn't know what was happening so she leaned against the door.

"Master? Are you master?" She called out. But there was no response. All she heard was a low growl. She had the sudden urge to run away but remembered she was only a servant. She calmly faced her master again and the cat showed up again. It walked towards Han Jun and purred against his legs.

Ariel took a deep breath and walked slowly to her master, "Master. It's me, Ariel. Your servant. Can I come to you?" There was no response. She slowly made her way to her master and faced him. Ariel slowly took his hand and looked up to him. He was her master. No matter what happens, she wants to help him.

"Master, I'm here. Everything will be alright. No one will hurt you. You've been alone all these times, right? I'm here with you. I'll listen to you." Ariel gently hugged him. Han Jun turned back to normal. She felt two hands embracing her. Ariel looked up, Han Jun's eyes turned back to normal. But they were still icy cold.

"Master..." She looked up at him. Han Jun looked deeply into her eyes. Han Jun slowly leaned forward to Ariel. She felt her whole body burning up. Han Jun gave her deep kisses and was very desperate. They both lied down on bed and gave into each other until they both reached the climax.

"Master..." Ariel called out. Han Jun looked at her with his icy cold eyes.

"You saw me. I'm a monster. I'm a devil." Ariel looked at him with compassion.

"You are still my master. No matter who you are, I will continue to serve you and be on your side. You don't need to doubt. I won't tell anyone what happened tonight." Han Jun released her.

"Ariel, when my mother gave birth to me. She was a demon herself. She was beautiful. My father fell in love with her. Every winter, she turns into a demon. Her body got used to the icy cold weather. She doesn't do well in summer because her body was at its weakest point. She was a strong demon and was very beautiful. She gave birth to me and when I was born, everyone told my mother to kill me but she didn't. Every winter, I will turn into a monster. That was when my aunt killed my mother. My mother didn't use her power though she could have. She didn't want to be a murderer. My aunt kill her this very day." Ariel was speechless but she finally understood the pain that was inside him. Ariel embraced him whether he accepted or not.

"Master, I'm here." Han Jun nodded and slowly embraced Ariel.
