The scene in the wash area was just the beginning because Dahlia was dressed in the best and softest silk befitting a queen and the next she knew, Romulus was by her side leading her to her destination.
According to Romulus, just after Tatiana slit Lily's throat, he might have broken the rules of the game by sending a little electricity that kick-started Lily's heart after the healers nearly lost her.
The healers did their job of reviving Lily, however, Tatiana slitting her throat affected her vocal cords and right now, Lily was undergoing therapy to learn how to speak again.
The thought depressed Dahlia, but on the bright side, her friend was alive and Romulus promised her that she would begin to speak in no time.
"Good day your majesty, the king! The Queen!" Echoed across the hall as they passed other vampires and Dahlia had to admit that it would take her time to get used to this. It was too much.
