Strange

Dan stretched his body as he sat up from the floor. It was morning and his body felt wonderful. A very pleasant feeling enveloped his body as he walked to the entrance of the hollow.

A faint smell of blood lingered around, the last remaining evidence of the snake's death. But it was very faint and Dan could only smell it because of the massive improvement that becoming a warrior gave to his five senses.

Dan poked his head out and scanned the surroundings. The mega forest was quiet with only the sound of the rustling of leaves.

Dan cautiously exited the hole and landed on the ground. He crouched and swiftly entered the maze of leaves, hiding himself within.

His aim for today was to explore around to understand his surroundings. Becoming a metahuman was great and all but it didn't change the fact that he was stranded here in the middle of the wild with no way out. From what Lang had told him, he was deep in the wild, at least a couple of hundred kilometres.
