The gods were real!!

Opening her eyes after coming out from her mindscape she lets out a sigh of relief as the problem hadn't been as serious as she was expecting. Sarah was actually anticipating an arduos fight that would take weeks if not months however it only took her a couple minutes which were only a few moments to those on the outside as the time dilation of the mindscape to the outside is 1:60 meaning that one second in the real world is sixty seconds in the mindscape.

After adjusting herself to the new feeling of feeling complete she realises that she can now go through her ancestral memories in their full and what she sees blows her mind.

When looking through the life of her proginator, the first divine abyssal frost wolf. She was born from the elements directly at the birth of the realm and whilst in her own realm she was on par with the four divine beasts born from the cosmos itself. The Azure Dragon, guardian of the East. The White Tiger, guardian of the West. The Vermilion Bird, guardian of the South. The Black Turtle, guardian of the North.

Currently according to her ancestral memories she was within the black turtles region of the cosmos. The regions of the cosmos were just named after the divine beasts themselves. Azure Dragon region, White Tiger region, Vermilion Bird region and Black Turtle region. Sarah also found out that the four divine beasts and her ancestor actually all perished to the same enemy, the gods born from cultivation.

Yes, this world never used to have the levelling system however the gods changed this as humans were always on the brink of extinction whilst beasts roamed free and with the levelling system although beasts lost the advantage they used to have the gods still could not get rid of the fundamental difference in power between beasts and humans therefore they took the ability beasts had of learning their own styles of combat, at least when in beast form anyway.

Unbelievably she also found out that the pantheon of gods from Earth were real at least in this cosmos as each pantheons leader whether it be Zeus, the leader of the Greek pantheon, or Odin, the leader of the Norse pantheon. Although she doesn't get to know too much about the other pantheons from her other memories as her ancestor was mainly fighting the Greek and Norse pantheon while the divine beasts fought the other pantheons. The only weird thing she found out was that no planet/realm, they are referred differently by different people, within the cosmos was called Earth so didn't think much of it and just assumed that it was most likely just called by another name.

From the memories she learned of the planet that the Greek pantheon came from and the fact that all the pantheons had their own 'Human' race. The planet had an extreme environment for millenia from the fight between Zeus and his father for the throne, contrary to human belief Poseidon and Hades only joined in at the end when Zeus and their father, Cronus, were tired from the battle and struck the weary Cronus whilst also dealing a blow to Zeus whilst he was down wresting control over major elements and parts of the world.

Whilst Zeus still got the throne and became the King of Gods in his world he only reigned within the sky which is why Olympus couldn't settle on their planet Gaia and remained within the 'Heavens'. Poseidon gained control of the Seas and the land however Poseidon much preferred the races of the seas so allowed Zeus to delegate roles to people within the pantheon.

Hades however had receded, contrary to what Zeus would allow people to believe as he had told others he had 'banished' his brother, into the Underworld taking control over the souls of the dead.

The planets of the Norse pantheon were more complex as they had formed a complete power structure. The nine worlds within the pantheon were Asgard, Muspelheim, Niflheim, Midgard, Jotunheim, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Svartalfheim and Helheim.

Asgard is the planet where Odin's race the Asgardians lived. Asgard also holds Valhalla which is the 'Warriors' Heaven where warriors who die valiantly in battle go while the others go to Folkvangr. Valhalla is actually just a sub-dimension the Asgardians made with a technology that absorbs warriors from midgard who died in battle. The souls attracted are judged by the Seer that works for the bifrost as their bloodline affects the eyes and ears which make their sight and hearing unimaginably enhanced as they can see and hear things that happen on planets far away. So far their is no known distance for it to work however the only planets they can see and hear things is limited to the nine planets they conquered which is an incredible distance. When warriors join Valhalla they are reborn as Einherjar. Odin is the Chief (King) of the Asgardians whilst his wife Frigg is the Queen.

Muspelheim, the world of fire. Muspleheim was originally ruled by the fire giant Surtr and could be said to be on par with Odin in his prime however the Asgardians didn't take kindly to that and sealed him within the depths of his own planet. The first reason they didn't take kindly to that is that Odin was very paranoid of his own death and would either have them join him where he could monitor them 24/7 or eradicate them not leaving behind any threat. Surtr however was unkillable and his pride didn't allow him to bow to someone at the same strength as his which made him the sworn enemy of the Aesir (Male Asgardians. FYI Female Asgardians are called Asynjur).

Niflheim, the world of mist. Niflheim was called so as it has been covered in a perpetual mist since the beginning of the cosmos as it is rumoured that it was one of the first planets born from the cosmos. It is also said that all races on all the planets that Asgardians rule originated from Niflheim and had only branched out when they began their exploration of the space region around them and conquered the surrounding planets. The planets is now only home to the dragon Nidhug as it guards the 'bubbling boiling spring' Hvergelmir which was the first of the three wells which are said to have given all the planets their rivers.

Midgard, the home of Humans. Asgardians found that humans were easily manipulated when they believed in a higher power therefore they built the bifrost which was essentially just a teleporter that made it look as if a rainbow was passing by as they descended to the planet or ascended back to Asgard. Before Odin and his brothers, Vili and Ve created the humans the world was actually the home of the Midgard Serpent Jormungandr. Jormungandr was so big that there was no space on the planet for humans to live therefore as the planet was mainly composed of water and rarely land they chained jormungandr to the deepest depths of the ocean encompassing the world forced to eat its own tail as they put it in a straight line. Jormungandr is actually the reason for the ocean rising and the waves of the ocean. The waves come about from Jormungandr struggling to break the chains so he can get out and kill Odin and his brothers. The rising ocean was just from him growing in size. Midgard also held the Ash Tree Yggdrasil which was stolen by Asgardians as it was a special tree that could be used to conect spaces together which is how they made the bifrost.

Jotunheim, home of the Jotuns otherwise known as Giants. Just like other races conquered by the Asgardians they are sworn enemies that are in constant battle. Jotuns mostly rely on meat to survive as the planet they occupy is no longer fertile since the invasion of the Asgardians. As there are with others eventually within the hate, love will be born. This had happened a few times between Asgardians and the Jotuns.. Jotunheim and Asgard is seperated by the river Ilving, the river is composed of minerals from rocks floating in space, the river itself also never freezes over which means it is a very difficult task to journey to Jotunheim if you don't have enough power or aren't technologically advanced enough. Jotunheim is also where Mimir's well of wisdom, is rumoured to be located but no one has ever found it.

Vanaheim, home of the Vanir. The Vanir are a race even older than Asgardians that can use the power of sorcery and have a talent towards predicting the future. Odin in his quest for power also fought wars against the Vanir to get their power and eventually won where the Vanir King at the time Njord moved to Asgard with his children Freya and Freyr. Freya eventually grew up and became one of Odin's lovers.

Alfheim, home of the Light Elves. Alfheim is a beautiful planet that Odin conquered and gave to Freya's sibling Freyr where they became the ruler of the Light Elves. The Light Elves themsleves have an amazing affinity towards nature and contrary to belief are very fertile. Light Elves are also knowledgeable towards nature magic and are also a very artistic race.

Svaralfheim, the home of the Dwarves. As their planet is closer to the sun they are forced to live underground. Thanks to their life deprived of the sun they grow to a very short height and have pale skin. Although thanks to living underground having access to constant minerals and metals their blacksmithing became the best within the cosmos. They were great at making weapons that even Odin and the Asgardians order their weapons from them and have no plan on forcefully conquering them as they have no clue if they are holding back when making their almost godly weapons which would mean they are even more powerful and scarier to take on than the Jotuns.

Helheim is a cold and detitute planet that actually held no life on it therfore Odin decreed that this was where the degenerate and criminal went from their own race and Midgard. Originally Odin wanted Valhalla and Helheim to be for all races but the backlash that happened nearly caused him to lose grip on the planets inhabitants. Just like Valhalla, Helheim is ran by another Seer who does the same thing only attracting the guilty and sentencing them to their judgement. Although Odin 'appointed' the Seer there it was more like a banishment as this particular Seer was beginning to become as powerful as Odin himself. From what her ancestor had heard back then the Seer was beginning to go crazy from hearing the constant screaming from the souls. Although thanks to the other Seers they managed to come up with a technology that soundproofs the planet so they are not affected whilst on other planets.

So far that was all the information on the pantheons her ancestor fought however it has been a long time since she and the four divine beasts sealed the pantheons away by sacrificing themselves. Who knows what has changed by this time as on Earth she had learned of Thor, Loki and the others however her ancestor hadn't which either meant that Odin had never had them in the first place or when her ancestor was around they weren't born yet. Her ancestor also hadn't heard of Greek demi-gods like Hercules and Perseus either.

Continuing on through the memories she finally finds what she is looking for. Apparently the way you mix the cores is that you first mix the light and darkness into a yin-yang looking form just missing the little dots. Then you mix ice and snow to make frost, then putting the core into the dark core making the white dot within the darkness. For the finishing touch just insert the shadow core into the light part and make the dot within the light that is a dark grey. After finishin the core should look like the yin-yang symbol except that the white dot within the yin part is actually pale blue in colour and within the yang part the black dot is actually a dark shade of grey bordering black.

Hey,

long chapter today with info dump important for the future.

Changed up the lore a little. The site used for info on Norse Mythology was https://norse-mythology.net/the-nine-worlds-in-norse-mythology/. And I only used what I knew already about the Greek pantheon as there is a lot of variations within that pantheon and is less stable than Norse.

Thanks again to those that vote power stones and comment on the novel.
