Adaptation and Slaughter

Fluttering, her eyelashes tremble as she opens her eyes. Checking her stats Sarah sees her new attributes and gasped from shock as she looked at her new attributes.

Attributes

Strength: 32.5

Agility: 42.4

Flexibility: 32.8

Endurance: 34.3

Willpower: 40.7

Comprehension: 8

Sarah also noticed that she isn't Rank 1 Level 1 but Rank 1 Level 2 which meant that she still had enough Experience points to level up. Her level progression now stands at 1055/16,500. She also notice that she gains 1 per attribute every level up instead of 0.5, next she placed her Attribute points into Agility and noticed that it increased to 43.2 which meant she now got 0.4 per Attribute point instead of 0.2. She also skimmed over the abilities section only to be disappointed that human transformation still wasn't there. Responding to the disappointment in her Linda shared some information with her.

"A normal beast would normally unlock a human transformation at Rank 1 however most are overwhelmed by their animalistic instinct until they become a Rank 2 raising their intelligence however divine beings such as yourself need the minimum of Rank 2 to unlock the human transformation. Also note that since you transform your stats will be heavily downgraded within that form taking your stats to one tenth of your original and when you level up in human form it won't add to the human sides stats it will add it to your beast form then re-calculate one tenth of the total"

Attempting to stand up Sarah puts more power than intended into her legs and jumps into the ceiling of the cave leaving a giant wolf sized hole in the ceiling. Landing back on the ground with a bit of impact her legs break into the ground as she props her feet into the ground trying to stabilize herself. Gently lifting her forward left leg she begins to lightly tread towards the exit of the cave to have more free space to adapt to her new strength.

*Boom*

Violently landing on the ground Sarah leaves a crater that has a diameter of ten feet and a depth of three feet. Shaking the dirt off her she got out of the crater carefully trying not to destroy anything else.

*Boom*

*Crash*

*Snap*

*Grrrrrrr*

~Half an hour later~

Finally adapting to her new strength enough to control it she now needs to fight to find out how strong she is. What surprised her though was the fact that if this was her stats as a Rank 1 how on earth did she kill those Rank 1 beasts before. Her question would go unanswered until she meets the intelligent beasts in the core area which will not be as far from the future as she imagines.

Leaving the waterfall in hunt for some prey to test herself she emits a fierce killing intent that frightened a large population of the surrounding to death foaming at the mouth dying from fear.

~Twenty minutes later~

After hunting about she finally finds something to kill she sees a herd of deer eating and relaxing and some others were starting to drift off to sleep. Muscles tensed she jumps in for the kill. Landing in the middle of the herd Sarah goes about her slaughter unchallenged as she rips throats out dismember deers as they try to run. Although a couple escaped she managed to slaughter most as they were caught in a panic and slightly dazed from the killing intent coming out of nowhere. Organs strewn all over the ground, fawn's still alive on the floor calling out hoping for their parents to come and take them away and deer on their last breaths calling out for their dead fawn hoping to see them move to have hope that they survived.

*Awooooo*

Howling up into the sky Sarah claims these prey as hers warning others not to get ideas on them. Finishing up her howl she starts eating the dead deer as the live ones are struggling to hold onto their lives, however they started dying from blood loss by the time she finished the first deer and all of them had died by the time she had started on the third deer. All together she had killed eight deer and six fawn.

"You have gained 3 Evolution points"

"You have gained 1625 Experience points"

"Level Progression: 2680/16,500"

"Hmmm, it seems that only three of the deer were Rank 1 and only Level 1 at that which gave me 500 Experience points each which means I get 1000 Experience points for a beast on par with my Level. I also only got Evolution points from those three deer which means I only get Evolution points for something of my Rank." She deduced from the Experience and Evolution points which perfectly shoed off her human intelligence from her past life.

*Shuffle*

Another beast trying to get lucky off of her. Heavily growling at the direction of the sound as a warning she drove off the ignorant beast off and then she headed back to the waterfall to clean herself.

~Ten minutes~

Bathing in the water Sarah enjoyed a moment of tranquility and then left for the cave to go to sleep as it was close to daylight.

For the next two months Sarah repeatedly practiced for the first half of the night and then went hunting for the latter half of the night. Unknowingly she had slaughtered so many beast that an eerie red glow in her area of the forest showing the large amounts of slaughter taking place in that particular area. This eerie glow had gone unnoticed by others for the next month however her continued hunting added to the already massive red aura revealing the glow to the humans that were incensed to get rid of whatever was slaughtering to such a degree as they used this forest to temper their schools pupils and sects disciples.
