Again, the message appeared, only this time it was giving a red light.

"Hahaha… see, you can't lie in front of my creation." Sergeant Ma Qiang laughed like a maniac. He wasn't mad that Victoria lied; instead, he was very happy to show off his new creation that he was so proud of.

Even Victoria was a bit amazed. Just now, she had almost stopped her heartbeat for a second and lied with an expressionless face. By doing this, she was sure she would fool any normal truth detector. But it seemed that she really couldn't lie in front of this thing.

"Hahaha… okay, the next question: do you know why he entered the dungeon?" Sergeant Ma Qiang finished his laugh and again asked, his face returning to seriousness.

Victoria thought for a moment and then replied, "To get stronger."

Victoria sighed in relief in her heart. She was worried that it would detect she didn't tell the full truth.

Jin Wei went to the dungeon to get something important, and she firmly believed it was going to make him stronger.

So she just said that he went to the dungeon to get stronger. In a sense, she wasn't lying, but she wasn't telling the full truth either.

"Ohhh, why didn't he bring you with him then?" Sergeant Ma Qiang asked curiously.

Victoria's face darkened as she heard that question, but still, in the end, she replied, "Because I'm not strong enough."

"What do you mean?" Victoria asked, confused. Why would she lie about this? This was the main reason she was trying so hard to get stronger.

But this guy was saying she was lying, even though she was telling the truth, and even the machine agreed. Who was he to question her determination?

"Because he entered the dungeon with a blind girl. She is even weaker than you, so why would he leave you for not being strong enough? It seems your boyfriend lied to you." Sergeant Ma Qiang answered with a worried look on his face.

By no means was he worried about her relationship with Jin Wei; he was just worried about whether his perfect creation got damaged or not.

"What do you mean he entered the dungeon with a blind girl but not with me?" Victoria asked curiously.

"Sigh… here, look, this is the girl he entered the dungeon with." Sergeant Ma Qiang sighed as he handed her a file from the table.

As Victoria opened the file, she noticed a picture of a purple-haired girl with strange eyes. And as she saw that picture, something suddenly clicked inside her.

Victoria remembered who she was. She was from her class, and she was practically one of the weakest students in her class. But that was not the main reason she remembered her. It was just that she was one of the girls who liked to follow Jin Wei from the shadows.

But unlike others who follow him from a close distance, that girl followed from a large distance that was completely out of their range of smell and sense.

Victoria was sure that Jin Wei had no clue about that blind girl's actions. As for how she knew when even Jin Wei didn't know, it was just due to her woman's instinct, which was even stronger than Jin Wei's vampiric sense.

"Did they enter the dungeon at the same time?" Victoria asked, trying to put the puzzle pieces together.

"Well, that girl entered about 3 minutes 27 seconds after Jin Wei entered. But... Why?" Sergeant Ma Qiang asked, curious about the reason for her question.

"No… nothing," Victoria replied as she shook her head in denial.

'I knew Jin Wei would never lie to me. That stupid girl just followed him inside,' Victoria thought as she sighed in relief in her heart.

『Lies detected.』The message appeared on the screen, making Sergeant Ma Qiang even more curious.

"Tell me what you know, girl, or you won't be allowed to go back." Sergeant Ma Qiang demanded in an authoritative tone.

"Humph… it is nothing important. It is a guess anyway, and it can be wrong," Victoria replied, a bit angry at the fact that this guy just tried to ruin her trust in her love. 

Even though she believes that she can never lose trust in Jin Wei, she can't ignore the fact that he tried to do it, even though it wasn't his intention. It's just too hateful. With this, she put down the file as she had nothing else to see.

『No lies detected.』The message said.

"Tell me, even if it is just your guess. Any information would be helpful. We are trying to help your boyfriend after all. You should know that the dungeon he went into is a dangerous, unexplored one, so his life might be in danger." Sergeant Ma Qiang said in a soft and righteous tone, trying to act like they were so righteous that he would save anyone in danger. But in truth, he was just trying to save his skin from that crazy woman.

Hearing his response, Victoria calmed down a little and replied truthfully, "Humph… I guess that she followed him inside. He didn't bring her with him."

"Oh, that can be a possibility. But how are you so sure?" Sergeant Ma Qiang asked curiously.

"Just my instinct," Victoria replied with irritation. She had been here for a while now and wished to go back to her dorm and practice. She promised him that she would grow stronger, and she couldn't disappoint him after he came back.

"If that's it, I would like to go. I have already answered everything I know about this matter," Victoria replied with an impatient tone.

『No lies detected.』Seeing this message, Sergeant Ma Qiang was a bit hesitant as he still wanted to ask more, but she said that she knew nothing and his creation agreed. So any more questions would be useless.

Seeing his hesitant face, Victoria said, "If you force me to stay here, then I will have to complain to Captain Aurora, my boyfriend's teacher. I am pretty sure you know her, right?" Victoria threatened with a bit of sarcasm in her voice when she mentioned her boyfriend's part, trying to get back at him for trying to make her suspect Jin Wei.

Hearing her threat, Sergeant Ma Qiang's face went pale. Just the name of that woman was enough to frighten him to his core.

"Y-you can go. There is no need to report to her. I was just doing my job," Sergeant Ma Qiang said with a shaking voice, trying not to show his weakness too easily.

"Thank you, sir." Victoria thanked him respectfully as she put her helmet down and removed all the stickers from her neck.

Then, as she got up from her seat, she gave him, her final greeting and left the room through a different door than the one Private Ima Pigg had used to enter.

Even though it didn't look like it, this room had various doors leading to different paths, and Victoria left through the door that directly led her out of the investigation chamber.

Sergeant Ma Qiang, after recovering from his internal fear, pressed his watch, and then a big holographic screen appeared in front of him. 

On the screen, all the sergeants who were at the meeting could be seen, each with a different background indicating they were all at different locations. All were watching this investigation, live, from their respective locations.

"Sergeant Leo, what do you think about her?" Sergeant Ma Qiang asked with a worried face.

Then suddenly the tall black sergeant named James Bond shouted in rage, "That's why I told everyone to let me investigate that brat's girl. This chi*g cho*g couldn't bring any useful information."

"Shut up, you N*****, she would have run the moment you appeared in front of her with that m*nkey-like face of yours." Sergeant Ma Qiang retorted with an equally insulting tone.

"Shut up, you two. Do as I told you all to do. The plan has not changed," Sergeant Leo shouted, making both of them stop. Then, with a nod from everyone, the call ended.

Sergeant Leo, who was currently inside his office room, was in deep thought.

'That brat's girlfriend looks a bit familiar, but I can't remember.' Sergeant Leo thought for a moment but then decided not to think much about it and just let it be.
