Halloween Special!

Viktor and Emma were sitting at home watching TV. Cordelia was out today!

How lucky!

The two cuddled on the couch and watched a horror movie.

Emma yelped and drilled into Viktor's chest as he laughed, stroking her hair as he said "You're scared of zombies? You're so cute~" Emma replied in a muffled voice "Look at them! They walk so strangely and look disgusting!" Viktor chuckled and said "Don't worry, they aren't anything to worry about!"

He sneered and added "Just a bunch of mindless husks. Who would even die from them?"

Suddenly!

A portal appeared in their room!

A woman with blood red hair and goat horns appeared in their living room!

Emma and Viktor were stunned.

The woman looked at them and tears pooled in her eyes, she closed them and said quickly "There's no time to chat! I need your help!" Viktor looked at her as though he was looking at an idiot, "Help? Who even are you, lady? We're just normal people, how can we help you?"

Though he had to admit, this woman was outrageously beautiful!

A little TOO beautiful…

A little suspiciously beautiful.

Why was this woman so beautiful?!

At any rate, Emma and Viktor had a good impression of her instantly.

Emma asked curiously "Do you really need OUR help? How are we supposed to help…" The woman said anxiously, "There's no time to talk! I know what you're capable of! Come with me!" as he pulled the air.

Emma and Viktor were dragged into the Portal and disappeared instantly.

They landed on the ground in a lab and Viktor rubbed his face, groaning "Didn't your parents teach you manners?! Who just drags people into portals?!"

The woman froze at his words and looked complicated as she said "They did… They're not around anymore…" Emma felt an unspeakable feeling and hugged her softly, saying "You poor thing… I'm sure they were proud of you…"

The woman burst into tears and hugged Emma tightly.

Viktor didn't care too much and looked around saying "Some kind of lab! Very strange. What universe is this?" the woman calmed down and wiped her tears, replying "The same universe. This is the future!"

Viktor opened his mouth and said "Oh wow! Am I going to meet my future self? Awesome." The woman paused for a moment before saying softly "Unfortunately, you're dead."

Viktor froze and cursed "Bullshit! How could I die? I'm invincible!" as he stomped out of the room. The woman followed behind him silently as Emma watched them with a thoughtful look on her face.

Viktor looked at the destroyed buildings outside and said "Oh shit! I didn't die in vain! The whole world came with me! Haha!" The woman's lips twitched and Emma asked "What did you say your name was again?"

The woman said "Lil- Lilian. My name is Lilian. In the future, I was your student… Unfortunately, you both died."

Viktor snorted and said "I don't believe it. How did I die?" Lilian's face winced as she said "Well-" before she could explain, the door was blasted open.

Viktor's eyes widened and he shouted "Holy fuck! Zombies?!" Emma paled and Lilian pulled Emma behind herself, frowning at the Zombies.

Viktor tilted his head and a shield flew right by his ear as he said in shock "Captain America?! This bastard was just at my wedding!" he grabbed the shield and spun around, throwing it back with all his strength.

The shield cut through the air and chopped Cap in half!

Viktor laughed "Dumbfuck! I told you I was invincible and you came anyway!" he jumped into the air and spun upside down as 3 arrows and a repulsor beam came right at him.

Viktor was hovering in the air and his eyes widened.

Clint and Tony!

Viktor shouted "Hey, beautiful lady! Who ISN'T a Zombie around here!?" as he pushed out his hands crushing Tony and Clint into meat paste!

The blood froze in the air and dropped to the ground.

The shield floated up and spun on the stop, clearing the blood, before flying to Viktor.

Lilian said with hesitation "Me, Spider-Man, Bucky Barnes, Ichigo Kurosaki, Roronoa Zoro, Tsunade, Magneto, Hope Pym, Nico Robin, Nancy Storms, Katsuki Bakugo, and Ochako Uraraka"

Viktor's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as he shouted "WHAT!? EXCUSE ME!? WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS AGAIN!?"

Lilian winced and said "Not a good one… This is indeed the future! You don't exist in other universes!" Viktor was dumbfounded on the spot! Emma asked curiously "Where are they?"

Her little face was all white and bloodless!

Viktor's heart stung as he looked at her, he hugged her gently, saying "Don't be scared, Little bear. I'm here." Lilian seemed to be in a daze and Emma tapped her shoulder, she woke up and said "They're at the meeting point, waiting for us."

Viktor held Cap's shield and said "What are we waiting for!? I can't wait!" It goes without saying that Cap's shield was now his shield. Unfortunately, Tony's armor was destroyed too much.

He picked up Clint's bow and quiver with shining eyes and said "What a windfall! I can hang these in the shop when we get back!" Emma was less scared at his actions, laughing "You're such an idiot."

Viktor grinned and asked "Where are the rest! Their weapons are valuable!" Lilian giggled and said "They're waiting for us, let's go." as she tore at the air.

The fabric of space tore open and she jumped in.

Viktor was stunned and muttered "Very strong." as he jumped in with Emma.

They arrived at a mansion overgrown with weeds!

Viktor and Emma followed Lilian like curious babies, looking at everything around them.

Viktor gasped and pointed, whispering "Look! Ultron robots!" Emma replied with a whisper "Maybe Tony made them before he died or something…" Lilian's eyes were complicated as she led them into the mansion.

The duo met the group of survivors.

They looked at the duo and welcomed Emma happily as though they found their savior.

Viktor was thrown to the side and even got hateful looks!

Viktor was stunned and said "This is too much, right?! Why am I the bad guy?"

Erik looked at him and finally said with some hesitation "My friend… You caused all of this."

Everyone turned to him, with blaming eyes.

Viktor was stunned and pointed at himself with cap's shield saying "Me!? No way! It can't be!" Erik sighed and Katsuki snarled, "You killed everyone!"

Viktor looked at the grown up heroes and frowned seriously, saying "Impossible. First of all, why would I create a Zombie virus? Second of all, it was Janet van Dyne or the 'Hunger' from another universe! It could've been the already Zombified Sentry!"

He shook his head and said "It will never be me!"

Hope shouted "You killed my parents you bastard!" Viktor kicked her as she charged at him, frowning "Relax. It's not me!" Zoro looked at Lilian and said "Why did you bring him here? What time is he from?"

Lilian bit her lips and said "50 years ago." Viktor laughed "See? How could it be me? Wouldn't I be an old fart?" Robin smiled and retorted "You wouldn't ever change appearance, so technically you wouldn't be an old fart…"

Viktor's lips twitched and he asked "Speaking of technicalities, where did you come from?" The people from anime didn't speak at all, they didn't even answer the question.

As though they were afraid of answering.

Viktor scratched his head and said "What a bunch of strange fellows…"

Emma smiled and asked "Why did you bring us here then?" Tsunade replied with a smile "You're the only ones who can help. You can create a cure!" Viktor cut in, "Excuse me. I have a question! Why would I even create the virus in the first place?"

Bucky, who had been silent all this time, said coldly "To bring your wife back to life."

Viktor sneered "I can use the infinity stones for that, no?" Peter answered this time "Mr. Gardens, the Infinity Stones were destroyed a long time ago." Viktor shook his head and said "You guys don't know anything."

Everyone looked at him and he continued "The Infinity Stones must exist in some form or another. Without them, the Dimensional boundaries would be extremely weak and anyone can slip through from another universe. So what you're saying is impossible because you would've been destroyed by another universe before the Zombie apocalypse even happened."

Ichigo said with gritted teeth, "He thinks he knows everything just like before! This is why we're in this problem in the first place! I'm gonna kill this bastard!" Viktor was confused and Peter explained "The Infinity Stones were atomized, they still exist just not as stones but cosmic dust…"

Viktor asked strangely "I could've gone back in time and gotten the infinity stones then." Peter said sadly "Mr. Stark wouldn't let you. You listened and looked for another way. You stole the GH.325 from SHIELD and modified it to be more powerful because Mrs. Emma was too powerful for the normal Serum…"

Viktor's eyes widened and said incredulously "Emma was the first Zombie?!?" Everyone looked at Emma with sad eyes. Emma patted her chest and laughed "Thank god. I'm scared of Zombies!"

She turned to Viktor and said sweetly "Big bear… you caused the zombie apocalypse just for me~?" Viktor changed his tune and smirked, puffing his chest as he said "Of course! My little bear… if she can't live, is there a need for anyone else?"

Emma teared up "Awe~" and hugged him.

Lilian covered her face while everyone else's mouths twitched.

Viktor kissed her and traced her jawline, smirking "When we get back… Heh heh heh~" Emma blushed and slapped his chest while giggling.

Katsuki blew up, shouting "I don't think you see the problem here! This is not a good situation! I know you know who everyone is so you must realize how dangerous even walking outside is now!"

Viktor said "Can they even touch me? I can fly." Ochako said softly "So can they… Even Izuku…" her eyes watered directly.

Viktor suddenly gasped "Oh my god! All Might's a zombie?!" Zoro said flatly "So is everyone else you don't see here."

Viktor swallowed and laughed "Good thing Roger isn't here…" then he froze, asking quickly "When did this happen? When did you get here? How old are you?" Zoro's lips twitched and he said "If you're thinking of Whitebeard… then he is dead. Not a zombie."

Viktor let out a breath of relief before asking carelessly "Why didn't you just hide in the Soul Society?" Ichigo replied with a shake of his head, "They're done for too."

Viktor said in shock "It can infect souls too?!" Robin replied gently "It infected a Hollow and mutated, then everyone fell. Most people can't even see Hollows…"

Viktor said flatly "Impossible. I don't believe SHIELD didn't come up with a device to see them." Ichigo said "They did. Kisuke helped them… Unfortunately, even if you can see them, you can't fight them unless you're a soul reaper."

Viktor slapped his thigh and said "I'm awesome! Look at this virus! What a genius!" their mouth's twitched angrily and Lilian said quickly "Anyway, we only have a single tube of the virus…"

Viktor suddenly said "I can't help you. I don't even know how to create medicine. Maybe I learned in the future but now I can't. I can kill the zombie though!"

Lilian smiled at him, saying sweetly "We know. I prepared for that." as she handed him a pill.

Viktor looked at the pill in confusion and she curled her lips happily, saying "NZT. You created this too." Viktor was dumbfounded and said "Fuck me!"

Lilian brought Viktor and Emma away as the rest sat in silence.

Katsuki said angrily "I can't believe she went to bring him back! As if she didn't have enough problems!" Ochako held his hand and rubbed the back of his palm slightly, calming him down.

He looked at her and quieted down under her smile.

There was something going on here!

Zoro sharpened his sword with a stone as he said "Give her a break. She probably has it the worst out of all of us right now…" Notably, there was a white cross hanging off a string attached to the end of the hilt on his sword!

Katsuki snorted at him and Ichigo looked at Bucky, asking "You think this'll work?" Bucky seemed to be the leader of the group as he said "It has to, because I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't."

Tsunade looked at him and said hesitantly "Buck… He can't die." Bucky looked at her and his eyes softened as he nodded "I know."

Peter scratched his head and smiled slightly "He doesn't seem so bad… He's her father after all…" Erik glared at him, saying seriously "You absolutely cannot reveal this! If it messes with the timeline, I will kill you!"

Hope sneered at him, "You wanna try?" Erik turned away and ignored her.

Nancy finally said "I hope Mr. Gardens can do it… Even if we send him back after he learns about the cure, the future will change…" Robin pointed out, "Not our future. His." Nancy smiled slightly "At least nobody else will suffer…"

Robin looked at Zoro, who sighed and consoled her, saying softly "It's gonna be okay, I'm here…" Robin smiled softly and nodded.

Meanwhile

Viktor was sitting in front of a computer absorbing immense amounts of information with the help of the NZT pill.

Turns out this pill had no side effects!

What a boon!

He even asked for the formula but Lilian told him that she didn't know!

Viktor was helpless…

A few days passed

Viktor was working on a cure, shouting "Damn! I'm a genius!" Emma sat next to him and pushed up the glasses on her cute little face, smiling "You're getting closer, big bear." Viktor chuckled and said "Of course, your husband is invincible! How many times do I have to tell you?"

Emma giggled and looked at him lovingly.

Viktor then gossiped "Can you believe these pairs? Oh my~" Emma giggled and replied "I know! Cross world love~! How amazing!" Viktor giggled and said strangely "That Lilian girl is so strange. So beautiful but she has no one. Makes me sad."

Emma rolled her eyes and replied "Are you upset?" Viktor looked at her and laughed "Are you jealous? She's not as beautiful as you! Why would I be upset?" Emma giggled and looked at him lovingly.

Viktor added with a grin "How about we… take a break, eh?" Emma licked her lips and said "Yeah?" Viktor replied "Mhmmm~"

Suddenly, the mansion started shaking and Lilian ran in saying anxiously "They're here! We have to go! Come on!" Viktor was stunned and said "You can't hold them?" Lilian looked complicated and said "It's not the number… Its 'who'!"

Viktor shook his head and said "Who could it possibly be?"

Turns out…

Viktor's eyes widened as he carried a backpack from the lab, Emma hugged him in horror.

This lineup was something else!

AllMight, Garp, Yamamoto, Jiraya, and…

Fuck it was himself!

Zombie Viktor looked down at everyone and screeched.

Viktor shouted "Holy fuck!" as he held up the shield and covered it in haki as AllMight punched him.

Viktor went flying, smashing through the mansion!

Lilian stood in front of Emma and her eyes glowed. She pulled the air and everything started to move around.

A black mass appeared on the ground and demons started crawling out of it as the trees, rocks, mud, and grass tangled around AllMight.

Lilian was a matter manipulator! But it seemed to be more than that…

Lilian stomped on the ground and the ground withered directly, a black gas formed into swords and shone as they pierced towards AllMight.

The rest of the ground started fighting as well.

Bucky shouted "Lilit-Lilian! We need you on 'him'!" Lilian said "But-" before she could finish, Viktor flew by and flipped in the air, stomping on AllMight's head, shouting "Now I'm fucking angry!"

He sent AllMight flying and threw the Shield, relieving it of Gravity as well as coating it with Haki.

He slapped the ground and AllMight, Garp, Yamamoto, and Jiraya teleported into a line as Cap's shield cut at their necks.

Viktor slapped his hands together and spread them apart, a purple blade appeared in his hands and was suddenly covered in green lightning as he sent it flying towards his zombie self.

Though, his Zombie self wasn't a slouch!

He waved and the whole thing disappeared directly.

Viktor cursed "Fuck! So cool!" Lilian floated up and said "I'll take care of him…" The rest focused on the 4 zombies.

Ichigo released his Bankai and had twins swords as he engaged Yamamoto, the rest went for Jiraya, Garp, and AllMight.

Emma's eyes glowed and she spread her hands out, AllMight's arm instantly exploded to bits.

Viktor laughed "Hahaha! That's my little wife!" as he smashed the shield on AllMight's head, shouting "Bastard! You think you can just punch whoever you like?!" AllMight disappeared and reappeared behind Viktor with extreme speed!

But who was Viktor?

He disappeared as well!

He smashed the shield on AllMight's head again!

AllMight turned around and punched!

Viktor held the shield in one hand and slapped his fist away, punching AllMight in the face, smashing him into the ground.

Purple waves oscillated on Viktor's fists as he went punch for punch with AllMight!

Emma provided support and blew up arms and legs directly.

Evidently, the old Emma and Viktor were still stronger than these old heroes!

Garp disappeared and reappeared behind Emma, punching at her head with his hand covered in haki!

Lilian shouted "NO!"

Viktor sneered, "Is it enough?"

Emma turned into diamond and raised her palm. It was covered in haki before heating up and glowing a reddish pink as she caught the fist. She sneered at Garp and said with the disdain of a queen, "Is that it? Too weak." before throwing a punch with her other hand, punching through Garp's chest!

Garp froze for a second as Emma ripped out his heart, she threw it to the ground but Garp was a Zombie, where did he need a heart? He punched her in the face!

Emma just stood there, holding his fist with one hand, his punch hit her face and she didn't even move.

She tore off his arm and said "That's it? I thought it would be a big move…" her palm turned into a palm knife and she chopped Garp's other arm at the elbow, severing it directly before kicking his head off his shoulders!

The rest paled.

Fuck! How strong was she!

Viktor grinned and punched AllMight with an uppercut in the stomach.

He blew a hole in his stomach, his spine was shattered directly! Only drops of blood dripping from the hole.

AllMight continued punching and Viktor raised the shield quickly. He knew this pose!

Detroit Smash!

Viktor flipped in the air before rushing forward and spinning, throwing out his own Detroit Smash!

Obviously, it wasn't even close and didn't look the same at all, but he shouted "DETROIT SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!" all the same.

Viktor was having fun, the rest…

Not so much.

Bucky shouted "Viktor! Help!" Viktor looked over and grabbed AllMight's face, smashing him into the ground before kicking him flying into Jiraya!

Viktor patted his chest with closed eyes, saying "Hmph! In the end you still need m-WOAH!" as he dodged a burning sword.

Yamamoto abandoned Ichigo and jumped at Viktor, snarling with crazy eyes.

Viktor was on the backpedal, jumping back and dodging Yamamoto's slashes quickly.

Zoro grit his teeth and said "His haki is stronger than mine!" Robin comforted him "Don't worry, you're very strong." Zoro looked at her and smiled "Robin…" before slashing out, blocking a kunai from Jiraya.

Robin frowned and crossed her arms, haki covered arms grew on Jiraya and twisted his arms off.

Nancy was in an Iron Man suit firing energy beams at AllMight while Peter provided support.

Suddenly, AllMight flew back uncontrollably.

Viktor grabbed him and used him as a shield, Yamamoto cut AllMight in half with a scorched blade. Viktor chuckled and teleported around with AllMight's halves, reducing the poor guy to dust in the end.

Yamamoto didn't know exhaustion and kept attacking.

Ichigo shouted "He's about to Bankai!"

Viktor teleported behind Yamamoto and stomped on the back of his head, grabbing his ankles and spinning around, throwing him at his own Zombified self.

Lilian was covered in black gas as she countered Zombie Viktor's myriad of attacks.

This zombie Vik could do anything!

He pulled space and the void tore open, endless Meteorites flew out! What's more, they were all shaped like swords and covered in Haki!

Lilian wasn't a straw bag either!

She hooked her finger and Yamamoto was thrown in front of them, getting obliterated directly!

Lilian's hands were covered in black gas and she punched out in front of the Meteorites, a black hole appeared and the Meteorites flew in, appearing under Zombie Viktor instantly.

ZV waved his hand and the Meteorites turned to ashes, condensing into a blade instead as he grabbed it and slashed out.

Lilian spread her hands and a black string appeared in between her hands, she caught the blade and slapped on ZV's chest!

A massive beam of black gas blew through his chest!

She waved and a black ball condensed around ZV, crushing him inside as it shrank!

She clenched her fists and a massive explosion occurred inside the ball!

She turned around and smiled sadly "I think he's-" Viktor pushed her to the side and held the shield in front of him as a hand thrusted through the black ball.

Viktor was sent flying and smashed into the ground, groaning and coughing up blood.

He was really strong…

How ironic…

Emma ran to him and said anxiously "Are you okay?!" Viktor coughed and smiled "Who told you I was injured? I'm invincible!" Lilian was in a daze and looked at Viktor with tears in her eyes.

She turned around and screamed "I'LL KILL YOU!" a black wave escaped her body and ZV backed away quickly, his arm was a bit slow and evaporated instantly!

Jiraya had half his body disintegrate immediately and he collapsed to the ground, only legs…

ZV pushed the air and escaped into an air door.

Lilian flew to Viktor and asked anxiously "Are you alright?! Oh my god, please don't be hurt!" Viktor rubbed his chest and grinned "I told you, I'm invincible." Lilian nodded with tears and a smile "I know. I know. You're invincible…"

ZV secretly took back the corpses while everyone thought it was over and not paying attention…

He pressed on them all and they exploded into blood, before coming together. A mixture of them all appeared! It had 4 arms and looked hideous!

A mixture between Garp, AllMight, Jiraya, and Yamamoto!

Oh my…

ZV looked at the group before leaving through an airdoor as the monster roared in a terrible voice.

Lilian turned around and said "Oh no!" she went to stop it but collapsed with a pale face. Emma held her and said anxiously "What's wrong?!" Lilian teared up "I'm exhausted! I wasted too much power…"

The group was instantly serious and worried.

Lilian was the strongest among them!

Bucky grabbed a cylinder and said with a stern face "I'll hold it back, you go." Tsunade was instantly hysterical and shouted "No! You can't!" Bucky smiled at her and said "Don't worry. You'll be okay…" Tsunade burst into tears and said "I'm staying!"

Bucky frowned and said "But you're…" he looked at her stomach and she smiled sadly "Is there even a future here? It doesn't matter anymore…"

Erik took the cylinder and said "Get out of here." as he flew off towards the monster, twisting the handle of the cylinder and stabbing it in his back.

Orange veins appeared on Erik's body and he exploded with power, tearing the monster to shreds as he shouted "RUN!"

The rest teared up and grit their teeth, grabbing their companions and running away.

Lilian carried Viktor while Emma carried her, flying away with the rest as Viktor asked "What happened?" Lilian explained with a sad smile "Another thing you made… It's super Extremis… Once you take it, you'll have a surge in power multiplying your strength by 100 for 30 minutes."

Viktor's eyes were incredulous and Lilian shook her head, adding "After 30 minutes or if you die… The explosion is comparable to an antimatter bomb!" Viktor shouted "Holy fuck!"

Lilian laughed abysmally "Our group used to be much bigger… Unfortunately…" she stopped and shook her head.

Emma sighed and said "Big bear, you really create the craziest things…" Viktor said innocently "I haven't created anything yet!"

The rest escaped to a far away place, resting temporarily.

Just when they settled a massive explosion sounded in the distance!

Viktor looked at the explosion from far away, sighing "How amazing!" Hope grabbed his collar and shouted "This is all your fault! How can you be so nonchalant here!?" Viktor looked at her and rolled his eyes, saying "Can you relax? It's not my fault you're weak!"

Hope was crazy and shouted in his face "You know! I lost my husband! More than once! All because of you! Every time!" Viktor frowned and replied "That wasn't me, I don't know if you can't see but I'm from the past, not the future! Your 'me' isn't me! So get off my back!"

The rest were silent and Emma frowned "Please, let go of him. This has nothing to do with us, okay?" Hope cried "How can it not! You're the cause! The reason for everything! One person doomed the whole world!"

Viktor paused and slapped her, tearing her shirt and saying "Hey… She's a goner." Everyone paused and looked over.

Hope froze and cried, "Great! Finally… The nightmare is ending…" then she laughed crazily.

Viktor pursed his lips and said "Um… You're not dead yet… Can you stop laughing so crazily? You're, like, seriously creeping me out."

Suddenly, a bunch of Zombies appeared around them.

Too many! Most of them were normal people!

There were waves of Zombies running towards them!

Everyone paled and Hope stopped laughing, looking at her friends. She cried and said "I'll stay behind. I don't have a choice anyway…" everyone looked at her sadly.

Hope smiled and instantly grew into a giant, she picked everyone up and walked through the zombie horde, crushing Zombies under her feet. A zombified Falcon flew around, breathing fire and Hope slapped him into the ground, shattering his flight suit!

Hope put everyone down on a building in the distance, saying "Finally… It's over…" as he leaned back and smashed a massive amount of zombies into meat paste!

The zombies jumped on her and tore her shrinking body to shreds, eating her alive!

Suddenly, she exploded as grenades went off on her body!

The grenades were extremely hot and Lilian provided information, "Extremis Bombs…" Viktor said in shock "Is there something I didn't make?!" everyone fell silent and looked at him.

He coughed and said seriously "Anyway, I'm close to the cure. We just have to get to a lab or something…"

Bucky said "We're going to yours. Let's go."

The trip was destined to be filled with obstacles!

One by one, the heroes fell!

In the end, only Peter, Nancy, Lilian, Viktor, and Emma were left!

Peter carried a satchel with one Extremis Cylinder, aptly named Supernova.

This was the last one!

Viktor sighed at the small group.

He stood in front of the little house and said "Isn't this…" Lilian nodded "Your house. Where everything began." Viktor said seriously "It'll end here too."

Nancy threw out little sentries that floated around the house silently and Peter crouched on the roof, scanning the distance.

Nancy climbed up to him and held his hand softly, asking "Are we going to be okay?" Peter looked at her and said tenderly "I know we will." Nancy smiled and cried, "You know… I always wanted a baby… Mr. Stark was like my dad. He looked so happy whenever he was with me, I wanted to be happy too. I always wondered what it would be like to be a mother."

Peter sat down with her, saying gently "Nancy…" Nancy looked at him and smiled as tears dripped from her cheeks, "If we survive… Can you help me?" Peter froze before squeezing her hand and saying "I promise."

The duo kissed passionately on the roof as the others were inside the lab, setting up.

Emma looked up and said "Oh wow… In broad daylight…"

Viktor asked curiously "What?" Emma shook her head and smiled "Nothing, love." he was confused but nodded and continued working.

Emma turned to Lilian and asked "Did you ever…" Lilian looked panicked and shook her head frantically, saying "No, no, no! Never!" Emma laughed softly, saying "It's okay, I'm not the police. I was just asking casually."

Lilian looked sad and shook her head saying "I never fell in love… My dad wouldn't have liked it…" Viktor nodded and replied "Hmph! Good. I wouldn't like it either! Who's worthy of my daughter? Heh!" as he sneered and continued working.

Lilian almost burst into tears and Emma hugged her, saying angrily "Can you please!" Viktor said innocently "What?! I'm just saying… She's not my daughter anyway! Just take it as me joking…"

Lilian seemed even more sad, but she smiled and said "It's okay… I never had a boy I liked either…" Emma sighed "You poor thing, come here." as she rubbed Lilian's back softly.

Lilian grabbed Emma's clothes tightly and cried silently.

Viktor was speechless, saying "I'm sorry… You're so sensitive…" Emma shouted "She's a girl! Of course she's sensitive! You're such a moron!" Viktor replied seriously "I'm not a moron, who told you that?"

Emma paused and laughed "Yeah, yeah, you're right. I'm so silly! How could I believe what other people say?" Viktor puffed his chest and grinned "Of course! I'm the best! Don't believe other people so casually, you know?"

Emma rolled her eyes and asked "Lilian, do you have any family left or…" Lilian wiped her eyes and shook her head, smiling "No… They're all gone. They were very kind to me when they were alive but my mother died suddenly and my dad turned into a Zombie so… I don't have anyone left at all. I've been dealing with Zombies all this time and haven't even had time to relax…"

She paused and poured out her emotions, tearing up again, saying "You know, I'm so tired… I just want this to end. I can't even take a minute because I'm the strongest out of everyone. All the strongest Zombies were killed by me alone! The ones you saw before were just stragglers…"

She burst into tears and continued "I can't even mourn for my parents! I didn't even see my sisters before they were killed! I only saw parts of them! Talking about relationships, I can't even have one even if I wanted to! I'm the last of my parents' bloodline but even if I have kids… Should I? Do I even-"

She paused here and shook her head, crying profusely.

Emma pursed her lips and hugged her tightly, kissing her head, saying "It's okay… Let everything out…" Viktor was silent as he worked on the cure, there was nothing to say, this little beauty's life was so tragic…

He focused on the cure and increased his speed with a tight frown.

He actually had a question, where was his system when he turned into a Zombie?

His Zombie self seemed to have intelligence…

But if that was the case, then was he even dead? If he had intelligence and the system, would the zombies be a problem?

Take a step back, he didn't get anything from the system to resurrect Emma?

Then what the fuck was he doing?

The rewards were random, yes, but he didn't get lucky a single time?

Why did he jump to serums?

What happened in between or rather… What happened to Emma that even the system was helpless!

He didn't believe that his future self didn't use the system to help! It was impossible!

Also, where was Emma? The patient Zero of the Zombie apocalypse.

There's something they weren't telling him.

It's not abnormal that he turned into a zombie. He knew in his heart that he couldn't hurt Emma… Even if she was a Zombie and bit him he would still let it happen. Maybe he would try to contain her at the most, but kill her?

Not a chance.

So then…

Where was Emma.

Viktor looked at Lilian out of the corner of his eye before asking "Where is Zombie Emma?" Lilian froze and asked evasively "Why? She's dead…" Viktor frowned "Why are you lying to me?"

Lilian said "Why would I lie to you?" her voice trembled a bit and Viktor suddenly asked "Then where did you get this Serum? And the Extremis Cylinders! What are you not telling us?!"

Lilian held back tears and Emma frowned "Big bear…" Lilian suddenly said "No, you should know… After Emma was infected and bit Viktor instantly. He didn't even react, or rather, he didn't stop it!"

She paused and turned grave "However! When he turned into a Zombie, he lost all his memories! He didn't become a mindless Zombie! He locked Emma up and continued to experiment on how to bring her back to life! In his eyes, being a zombie wasn't a form of life, but death!"

Lilian teared up and explained "Emma was still a very powerful telepath and as more and more drugs were developed, she got stronger and stronger until she regained all her memories, only having the need to eat human flesh to survive! Other than that she was normal!"

She shook her head and said "But everyday is a constant pain for her, she hates her life and wants everything to stop! The so-called cure is in fact useless for her AND Viktor… She can only die! She sent me cures and Extremis cylinders telling me that I had to kill Viktor and her together or it would never end!"

Lilian teared up and continued "The spreading wasn't from Emma but Viktor! He experimented on living people to test the efficacy of his drugs, how could he possibly use them willy nilly on his wife? He would never! Just like how he would never hurt her. Emma didn't blame him at all! She only felt that he was pitiful… He only has one goal and it is to cure her! He doesn't care about anything else!"

She closed her eyes and her voice trembled as she added "He's coming after me because I… My blood is very special. I'm immune! He wants my blood for a cure! But it won't work! Emma told me this specifically… It will only make everything worse! So-So-So, I have to kill him! I have to kill them both! The cure you're working on isn't a cure at all! It's an infectious poison!"

Lilian spilled the beans and cried "Nobody else knows! But it's not right to call it a poison…. It will 'cure' the zombies! Cure them by killing them all! It only affects them! Once you finish the cure, I will use the device Emma made in secret to spread it into the atmosphere and end everything once and for all!"

Viktor frowned and looked thoughtful, now it made sense.

What a guy!

Trying to cure his wife, he doomed the world!

What a man!

This was definitely something he would do!

Even as a Zombie he still worked on a cure!

How cool was he?!

Unfortunately, he only had Emma in his eyes and his kids were accidentally killed…

Emma asked sadly "And the kids?" Lilian froze and laughed "The kids? THE KIDS!? What kids… They're gone without a trace. Emma told me that Viktor found their corpses in a city and turned the entire city into a bottomless hole! There's only one left and nobody knows where she is…" she trembled and said "Even as a Zombie he still cares for them…"

Emma looked at Viktor with tender eyes and he smiled softly.

Lilian looked complicated as she said "Except for me. He doesn't remember me at all. I was his first… student… I guess it's because I'm immune… Or maybe he never…" she didn't continue but her eyes were flooding with extreme grief.

Emma consoled her, saying seriously "Don't say that… He's not the type of person to never care…" Viktor nodded seriously and said "It's true. If you were my student I would definitely care. Maybe I didn't remember you because you were only my student and the relationship wasn't deep enough…"

He sighed and shook his head, adding "Compared to Emma… These feelings are too deep. I can only say that even if I knew the future, I would 100% do it again! Compared to the world or whatever, she is much more important to me!"

Lilian shouted anxiously "You can't! You can't make this mistake again! Even your kids will die! Think about them, please!" Viktor said coldly "I don't have any children yet. How could I feel for them if they don't exist! If Emma dies, I will try every possible means to bring her back!"

Lilian stomped her foot and said angrily "You don't care!? At all!?" Viktor replied "It's not that I don't care, it's just… How am I supposed to feel for someone that doesn't exist? Maybe it'll be different in the future.. This is only one possible timeline. There are countless others… Plus, Emma won't die. You can rest assured, even if she wants to die, she can't!"

Lilian said angrily "That's what you said last time!" Viktor shook his head and didn't answer. He knew the future, would he let Emma die? Take a step back, would he let the Infinity Stones stay atomized?

The answer is obviously no.

No matter what Steve says…

Lilian calmed down and said "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell…" Viktor was confused and said with a smile "It's okay. You don't have to apologize. Coincidentally, my parents died too. I know how you feel. I can tell you that they definitely loved you very much."

This guy was an expert, his parents died twice!

Emma rubbed her back and smiled "It's okay, we're here with you now. You can count on us." Lilian didn't know what to say. She was so happy and touched that she was about to burst into tears again!

She couldn't even cry before to be strong but now…

All her tears came out like a flood!

A while later

Viktor finished the Virus!

He gave it to Lilian who wiped her tears and hugged him, whispering "Thank you… So much… For everything!" Viktor was stunned and confused as he patted her back, replying "Erm… You're welcome."

Lilian separated from him and turned around as she cried profusely, wiping her eyes constantly, saying "I'll send you back…" Viktor said strangely "Aren't you going to test it? What if it doesn't work?"

Lilian smiled and looked at him with crescent eyes, saying "Aren't you the best? I trust you?" Viktor was startled and looked at her with a surprised look, completely dumbfounded!

Emma pursed her lips and smiled "Then… I wish you luck." Lilian hugged her and tightened her arms, saying "I'll miss you… I'll miss you both!" Viktor pursed his lips and smiled softly "You can come see us in the past, right? There's no need for such a sad goodbye…"

Lilith laughed and cried "You're right! Hihihihihi~ Good bye…" as she tore open a hole to the portal they came here from.

Viktor and Emma smiled and waved goodbye as they stepped into the portal and disappeared.

Lilian closed the doorway and started crying again, collapsing to the ground…

Peter and Nancy came down, looking at her and they said "You never told them?" Lilian shook her head and wiped her eyes, setting up a device outside before pouring the serum inside.

Nancy said "Lilith… I'm sorry…" Lilian, no Lilith, smiled sadly "For what? My parents ruined the world. It's all their fault…" Peter said hesitantly "But they also saved it…" Lilith shook her head and laughed in grief "No… They destroyed it in the end…"

The device spat out black gas into the sky!

The black gas affected the atmosphere and torrential black rain started falling down everywhere!

Lilith cut her palm and blood flowed into the device as the black gas started surging as more and more rain poured down.

Lilith looked at Peter and Nancy, smiling "It's all up to you two now…" as she waved under their astonished eyes, sending them into a portal that was attached to a bunker made out of Vibranium, stocked with enough food and water for decades…

The portal closed as Lilith said "When the rain stops and the world reverts to its origin state… The door will open. Good luck."

Peter and Nancy looked complicated and held each other, shedding tears silently.

Lilith looked up to the black sky, on her knees as the black rain washed over her. She opened her eyes and whispered "I'm scared… Mommy…"

Emma's voice sounded all around her, "Don't be, baby… Mommy will always be with you… Daddy will come soon… It's only a matter of time now. He and I… We can't escape this either. No matter how strong we are."

Lilith smiled sadly and asked like a little girl "Is heaven beautiful?"

Emma seemed to be smiling softly, Lilith felt a hand stroking her cheek as she heard "Very beautiful." Lilith's eyes turned completely black as did her hair as her body started to crack and fall off, being absorbed by the growing grass.

Viktor appeared over her as his arm fell off and was devoured by the earth… He looked at Lilith for a while, his eyes completely black and swirling with confusion.

Lilith looked at him and cried "Daddy… I don't feel so good… It hurts…" Viktor looked to be struggling as he teleported right in front of her.

He raised a fist and Lilith closed her eyes as a reflex, but his hand touched her face gently. She opened her eyes and Viktor looked at her with eyes full of tender affection and apology.

Lilith smiled childishly and giggled "I… I really missed you…" Viktor's arm fell off along with one of his legs and he fell to his knee. His last leg was being devoured and he struggled towards her, finally touching his forehead with hers and shedding a single tear before he crumbled to dust, devoured by the earth under him.

Lilith smiled happily and said "Mommy… Me and Daddy are waiting… I love y-you…" before she turned to dust completely… but Emma's voice wasn't around anymore…

The earth swallowed the world as the flora sprouted wildly, overtaking the civilization that once was…

Viktor and Emma returned to their living room and looked at each other, smiling softly. Emma asked "Did you find out?" Viktor smiled wryly "Do I look like an idiot?" Emma laughed and wiped her eyes, shaking her head as she said nothing.

Viktor hugged her tight and laid on the couch with her in his arms…

What a terrifying Halloween.
