"Mysterious Pendant"

In a cafeteria, several children of different ages were anxiously waiting for food and in a specific corner was Leo.

This one, unlike the enthusiasm of the rest, was depressed at his table with his head bowed.

Not long after, the sound of food being served came from the orphanage.

Leo finally reacted and raised his head.

'Since I have come to the magical world and with talent, it is normal that I enter Hogwarts to study...'.

'That's right, if you think about it, there isn't that much difference between the two worlds.'

Leo kept telling him in his heart, he wants to make sure that he can successfully survive and become stronger in this world.

'Although to be honest I don't understand then where the hell my powers come from.'

'If it were Rick Riordan's world then everything would make at least a little bit of sense.'

'Everything would fit.'

'But it's not... Then why do I have these abilities?' He said as the glass of water in front of him shook.

As long as he wanted, he could burst the glass with water or shape it at will.

After dinner, he returned to his room, and began studying his memories in an attempt to remember any information he had overlooked.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find any connection in his mind.

However when he was close to giving up, he glimpsed in the corner of his vision an ancient pendant.

This pendant is something he came into this world with, according to the matron he had this accessory with him when he appeared at the doors of the orphanage.

But since it wasn't very significant in his opinion, it was always gathering dust on the corner of this table.

But the more he looked at it, the weirder the feeling was. After racking his brain he finally remembered.

"Isn't this pendant the one I bought at an antique stall in my past life?"

Leo approached and held it in his hands, since he grew up he had never paid much attention to it.

But the more he saw him the more he looked like him.

Held by copper chains, a pale gold pendant and a sense of deep mystery.

"Yes, it is definitely the one from my previous life or an extreme coincidence."

"But since I was little I have never believed in coincidences" he looked at it for a while longer and put it on his neck.

Then he tried to open it in several ways, he twisted it, hit it, threw it on the ground and even bit it.

Then he tried with the typical phrases like, hocus pocus or an open sesame,

but nothing strange happened, none of the above ways worked.

The pendant did not even move an inch from its previous shape.

Just when he was going to give up, he remembered something they used to do in novels and stories.

Although he was a little hesitant, he finally tried.

He put his thumb in his mouth and bit fiercely until a drop of blood came out.

'Haaah! It really hurts!'. As he endured the pain, he dropped a drop of blood onto the pendant.

'I don't know how those protagonists of those novels can make him so indifferent.'

He thought as he sucked his thumb but still staring at the pendant.

So he waited... And he kept waiting....

After standing for a few minutes he felt a little embarrassed.

He couldn't help but hit his head and said.

"I'm stupid, how is it possible that something so stupid could work?"

"I should stop reading so many books... it's not good for my health."

However, just as he was about to take it off, a sound caught his attention.

The pendant that until then did not change in the slightest began to rotate as if multiple pieces of finely placed gears were working together inside.

In just a few seconds the pieces stopped spinning and he revealed the mechanism inside.

It was a small hole of a few centimeters in which three majestic but small figures were placed.

Someone may not be able to identify them by appearance, but those representative legendary weapons explain a lot about their identities.

'These are undoubtedly Poseidon, Hades and Zeus.' Leo was able to identify them easily.

And just when Leo was stunned and wanted to touch, the sculpture of Poseidon shined with a transparent blue light, his trident mainly being the most striking.

A light came out of it and went towards Leo's eyebrows.

When he saw it coming towards his head he wanted to dodge, but even with his reflexes he couldn't avoid it.

When he brought the light closer, it went into the center of his eyebrows and where Leo couldn't see, a trident mark flashed.

Stunned, Leo touched his head and feeling no pain he felt relieved.

When he looked back at the pendant he had already returned to his 'normal' form.

Just when he wanted to complain, a window appeared in front of him with a series of simple information.

After watching the panel, Leo was finally able to say affirmatively that he possessed Percy Jackson's powers, although for some reason they were in a sealed or semi-awakened state.

'I guess it's because I haven't grown enough yet' Leo wasn't too bothered, although the pendant seemed to do nothing, thanks to the panel he could now more intuitively understand his talents.

So he lay down on his bed and looked at his last name.

As an orphan he has no first or last name, in fact Leo is the name imposed by the owner of the orphanage, but the last name is something more serious and important.

That is why the orphans, who faced an extremely difficult start to life, were identified with the surname "Expósito."

Well, if someone has this last name, the law allows it to be legally changed, providing the opportunity for a new beginning, a new name for a new story.

Thanks to this, Leo took his last name as Jackson for obvious reasons.

Representing a new beginning...

Then little by little and in the light of the stars, Leo slowly fell asleep, while he thought about his future.

__________________________________________

At nine o'clock the next morning, after Leo had finished breakfast.

And to explain to the matron what he was going to do, he received her permission.

In his room he had already made the preparations, he took the worn backpack and some crumpled bills from under the bed.

Although in the letter they had explained that it was not necessary, it is still better to be prepared.

Once his shoelaces were ready, he trotted away.

A few hours later Leo was sitting in a shoe store, looking at the clock from time to time.

He suddenly heard a screech and when he looked behind him he saw a tall, thin-built man.

He had a dark, long robe like an old bat, a privet nose, and greasy hair as if he had poured three glasses of gel on himself.

Before Leo could say anything... the man had already spoken.

"Mr. Jackson, I am Severus Snape though to you Professor Snape."

"I won't bother saying many words, what needs to be said is in the letter, I won't explain again, unless his brain is as small as a pea, do you understand?"

Leo could only scratch his head, in fact before even speaking he already knew his identity, after all he is very easy to recognize.

Even for someone like him who isn't a fan of the HarryPotter books. Also, as Snape said in the letter, they had already explained the details to him.

"Follow me."

Leo picked up his small backpack and followed him, after walking for a few seconds they arrived at a rather narrow alley.

"Mr. Jackson, hold on tight to my sleeve."

"And don't even think about vomiting, these clothes are more expensive than anything he can imagine."

Leo wanted to reply but before he could open his mouth, that gloomy voice sounded again.

"We don't have all day Mr. Jackson." He said with an indifferent look.

'Haah...forget it.' He sighed in his heart.

"Yes Professor Snape."

He once reached out and grabbed his sleeve.

What followed next was something difficult to explain, everyone around him spun and turned upside down, he felt his stomach turn and he felt nauseous.

If I had to explain it more explicitly, it is as if you were turning a washing machine several times.

Once the feeling of invalidity was over, severe nausea followed.

But remembering what Professor Snape said he put his hands over his mouth and endured the discomfort.

"The first time the same thing always happens, after experiencing it a couple more times you won't feel as dizzy."

To Leo's surprise he apparently had an ounce of kindness and Snape waited calmly until he improved his complexion.

"Do you still have the letter Mr. Jackson?"

After he caught his breath, he nodded.

"Well, inside there is a list with everything you need."

Leo opened one of the pockets and unfolded a sheet of paper, which he had not read carefully the night before, and read:
