Swept Away
Daisy had a good dream. A very good dream. She couldn't remember it exactly but she woke up warm and content…until she realized she was caged inside a man's arms and last night came flooding back to her.
She hadn't meant for things to go this far when she asked Leo out. She had wanted to go on a date and he was the most readily available person she could think of since Bree already thought he liked her. The problem was that she hadn't comprehended exactly how much he liked her.
He was extremely straightforward with his compliments to the point that she spent a good chunk of the night blushing. He was also invested in what she had to say at dinner even after she screwed up and accidentally brought up the topic of his dead family.
She knew all about not wanting to talk about family since hers had been such a dysfunctional wreck. But it was a standard topic for most people so she had assumed she was safe.
