"I will accept his invitation."

Lucifer was surprised at Charlus' answer.

"What do you mean? I thought you would duel with me."

Charlus smiled.

"I didn't say I wouldn't. How long will I duel with that guy. I'll be done with him in no time."

"Whatever you say. I think you are just trying to avoid me."

Charlus smiled at Lucifer's arrogance and walked towards Nasper.

"You are going to regret this Potter. I am going to crush you so bad-"

Charlus took out his wand and bowed to Nasper. Then he turned around and walked to his position.

"Mr Aubert. Please start the duel after reciprocating the respect that Mr Potter has displayed. Have I taught you nothing?"

Nasper bowed quickly and went to his position. As soon as he got there he readied his wand and started firing off spells.

"Expelliarmus!"

Charlus was ready for the spell and cast a Protego. The charm bounced off of the invisible shield around Charlus. Professor Reinhart was impressed that Charlus had learnt a spell that students would typically learn at the end of their 2nd year.

Nasper was frustrated as to him it looked like his charm had missed.

"Expelliarmus!"

The spell bounced off again and Nasper became even more frustrated.

"Is that all you can do Potter? Avoid my spells? Never learnt any spells?"

Charlus wanted to cast a spell on Nasper immediately, but he remembered the basics of Dueling that he learnt from his teacher. He was taught to never give into taunts and only strike when the time was tight. He never practised it with his teacher but the person in front of him was prime material.

He maintained his Protego for the next 3 minutes while Nasper exhausted two-thirds of his magic. Nasper quickly became tired and he stopped casting to take a breather. Charlus noticed this immediately and stopped his protection charm. He immediately struck.

"Expelliarmus!"

The spell struck Nasper right in his chest and Nasper's wand went flying into the air. Nasper went flying into the wall behind him from the force of the spell.

Professor Reinhart noticed the sudden outburst of magic and saw that Nasper was slumped to the wall.

"What happened? Mr Potter, did you use any spell other than the disarming charm. Perhaps the Push Back jinx?"

Charlus shook his head.

"I used the disarming charm Professor. I don't know why this happened."

"Let's leave that for later. Will anyone take Mr Aubert to the infirmary? He seems to be hurt. Nothing fatal thankfully."

A girl volunteered and took Nasper to the infirmary. After the scene settled, Charlus went to Lucifer who had just finished dueling with his partner.

"You done? We can finish that duel you were talking about."

Lucifer looked at Charlus as if Charlus was an idiot.

"You think we didn't see what you just did to that Nasper? Do you think I am an idiot? A masochist?"

Charlus laughed.

"I wasn't the one asking for it. You were the one who said you would crush me. I want to see how I would fare against you."

Lucifer hit his forehead with his fist.

"Damn you Lucifer! Why did you have to go mess with this overpowered bastard?"

Charlus laughed.

"Are you coming or not?"

"What else will I do."

Lucifer reluctantly went with Charlus to duel. They both bowed to each other and took their stance. Lucifer immediately tried to defeat Charlus before he could even react.

"Expelliarmus!"

Charlus repeated what he did with Nasper with Lucifer and waited for him to tire out. After a few minutes, Charlus noticed that Lucifer was slowing down. When he finally took a breather, Charlus stopped his shield.

"Expelliarmus!"

"Expelliarmus!"

Lucifer had been waiting for Charlus to think that he had become tired. He had observed Charlus' previous duel and decided to counter-attack when Charlus was least expecting it.

However, the spells clashed with each other and a connection formed between the two spells. Charlus' spell slowly pushed Lucifer's towards Lucifer. The huge ball of energy that was forming almost made contact with Lucifer.

"Disseminabunt."

Professor Reinhart decided to interfere. If the ball of energy hit Lucifer, the constant energy from both the boys would add up and impact him and it would leave him in the infirmary for the next 3 days.

The energy dispersed and the spells were cancelled.

"I think that is enough from you Mr Potter. Trouble seems to follow you. Please do not duel anyone anymore. The infirmary might not be able to handle everyone."

Charlus rubbed the back of his head and smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry Professor. I got carried away."

It happens. However, I am interested in you. You have a lot of magical power in your body. More than what kids your age should normally have. Do you know why?"

"I think it's a family secret Professor Reinhart. You should ask my godfather."

Charlus learnt from Nicholas Flamel that while Sirius was not aware of the involvement of Nicholas Flamel in the rescue and awakening of Charlus, he was aware of Charlus' blood complications.

"I will talk to him when I meet him no doubt. It is very curious to see someone like you, Mr Potter. Very curious."
