Chapter 79 - Common Routine at Hogwarts.

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

On a Saturday, Snape was with Andromeda strolling through the castle, with Lucinda on the other side, who refused to let Snape be alone against another woman, while he sighed as the two spent time with him.

In the end, this kind of meeting was inside the castle, after all, no one was allowed to leave, while the students looked at the three with curiosity and Edmund Whitley, the author of publications for The Hogwarts Observer, was secretly taking pictures of them with an old camera.

'This guy... he's going to put something in the paper again... there go my weeks of peace without being in that daily sheet...' Snape murmured internally, but he could not complain about being here, after all, Andromeda did her part in the agreement.

"Did you know, Snape, that the school got a glyph? Why don't we go look at it?" Lucinda exclaimed, grabbing Snape's arm.

"Good idea, now let you and Snape go see the glyph!" Andromeda said.

"Get out of here, I said it, let me and Snape be!" Lucinda spoke, pulling Snape to one side.

"He has a date with me, what are you doing here?!" Andromeda pulled Snape to the other side.

"Can you both stop this?!" Snape spoke with a dissatisfied tone to the two.

In the end, they went to the place where there were classes on fantastic animals, where Snape had been until a week ago, as he would start rune classes.

There were several students in the place while they watched Hagrid feeding a horse whose upper half was of water, had wings instead of hooves, claws, covered in feathers, and an eagle's head.

"So beautiful..." Lucinda murmured with glazed eyes on the animal while Snape could not deny that the animal had its color.

'It reminds me of Shadow...' Snape thought of his black owl, of the same coloration as the animal in front of him, both in the color of the fur and feathers, and in the blue eyes.

Lily was with her friends at the time one touched her side. "Don't look back." She spoke while Lily did exactly that, seeing Snape with two of the girls he always walked with, looking like some kind of date.

"..." Lily looked for a while, but none of the three noticed her and she turned back to look forward.

"I told you not to look back." Her friend warned.

She just stayed silent trying to ignore, not knowing what she always felt with Snape around all those women and how they seemed open to talking with him.

In the end, Snape was finally free, having disappeared from that strange encounter with the two, returning to the kitchen while grabbing something to eat with the elves.

"Can you bring something for me to eat in the Room of Requirement?" Snape requested, after he informed them where the Room of Requirement was and took some elves, they could go to the place if they called them.

"Yes, Mr. Snape!" They responded at the same time.

Snape decided to leave the kitchen and walk a bit in the early evening, while leaving the kitchen behind and walking through the corridors of Hogwarts.

"It's better if your father agrees to this, otherwise, you and your family will pay for it, you idiot!" Snape encountered in a corridor, his housemates, intimidating a Slytherin student as well.

That boy was quite known to Snape as he approached and the students who were, both sixth and seventh years, grabbed the collar of the sixth-year student while staring him down ready to punch him.

"We can already give you a bit of what's going to happen to you and you can already send your situation to your father..." They spoke with a somber tone, but at that moment, they noticed Snape before continuing their bullying.

"Snape..." They murmured, but with a tone of caution as he continued moving in their direction.

"Snape, we don't mess with you anymore, but it's better you don't meddle in matters that don't concern you." The students soon hoped that Snape would try to intervene in their matters, since they couldn't handle him, so they left it to the Death Eaters and adult wizards to deal with them, as Voldemort had increased the pressure to recruit new members to fill all those who were killed in Hogsmeade and families pressured their children to seek new wizards for the pure-blood cause.

"Do you really think you can talk to me like that?" Snape was just passing by, but he couldn't help mocking the student who spoke to him in that tone.

"..." One of them was somewhat afraid, knowing how Snape dealt with those who tried anything with him, since he had once been one of them.

"Tsk." The student, despite his wounded pride, left that student aside, and both began to move away.

"You better think about what we said, Geronimo Arts, otherwise... the consequences will be coming for you and your family, and Snape won't be there to save your hide," the student said with a tone of anger and began to move away while Snape approached the student on the ground.

"You look in terrible condition... Geronimo..." Snape said, one of the first people he had contact with when he returned this year, being the student who feared and obeyed him when he needed to break the Slytherin door and had to have someone to use the repair spell.

Geronimo got up with a tone of frustration. "Thanks... I guess..." he murmured.

"Were they wanting you and your family to join Voldemort's little club?" Snape asked.

Geronimo immediately widened his eyes at Snape as he mentioned the name of you-know-who. "Be careful with what you say. You know his name is cursed and the Death Eaters can locate him!" He warned Snape.

"I'm terrified, let them come," Snape spoke mockingly, after all, he had his pride, and no one would attack him anyway at Hogwarts, and if they did... well... it wouldn't end very well for them.

"..." Geronimo was a bit surprised by this and even admired that Snape did not seem to be afraid. "You really aren't afraid of them, are you?" he asked.

"What do you think...?" Snape answered his question with another question. "I'm leaving now." Snape simply continued on his way while Geronimo just watched him from behind as he walked away and entered another corridor.

Snape returned to the Room of Requirement, and as soon as he reached its floor, he found Dobby in the place he called the "nursery," where Shadow and Atlas lived in that space simulating a small valley with streams, trees, and grass. While the house-elf was rubbing the body of the Graphorn lying on the lawn, seeming to take great pleasure as he felt his hard skin being rubbed that way.

Snape could not help but notice that the animal was getting bigger and was thankful that this creature was no longer in his room, as it would no longer fit there.

He even found it odd that the centaur had not ratted him out about this Graphorn, since, as far as he knew, Hagrid would have looked for it if he knew the Graphorn was alive. His gaze moved from the large creature to the trees nearby, where Shadow was looking at him. His owl had returned from its trip to London a few days ago after the letter he had sent.

"Master, you are here!" Dobby noticed and approached at this moment, with the usual curiosity and respect. "Master Snape, as you can see, I did everything you asked. If you do not think it is good, Dobby is ready to receive punishment," the young house-elf said, while Snape sighed.

"No, Dobby, I will not apply punishment. You did everything right," said Snape.

"Hooray, Master Snape!" exclaimed Dobby, happy to not be punished.

"Anyway..." Snape resumed speaking: "I'm going to continue training. Take care of things here," he said, leaving the nursery.

He spent the entire weekend creating potions and training while he did not leave the Room of Requirement. The only person who saw him was Pandora herself, who came to train with him a few times, while he taught the girl a trick or two to improve her skill.

The week began, and his classes continued normally, while he returned to the restricted section to study personally his new magic project that he was developing, in his free time. On Wednesday, he had his first class of magical runes, where he wanted to learn to start applying them to artifacts as soon as he had the necessary knowledge. He was also eager to further develop his alchemy, creating runic cauldrons for more potent potions.

On Thursday, he had a dueling class with the fifth-year students. Students from the three houses began to pressure the Slytherin members due to the incident in Hogsmeade, seeking revenge, and the students started to feel it with all the challenges being made by them. Most of the students were in a very bad situation, to the point where even Professors Flitwick and Longbottom had to intervene a few times.

However, unlike them, Snape continued to swat them down like flies, regardless of how many tried to face him. Eventually, they realized they would not get revenge against Snape and turned their attention to other students.

On Friday, he still had the duel with the seventh year, where Bellatrix always challenged Snape whenever she could, and Snape did not defeat her as quickly, but he always proved better than her, leaving the girl frustrated and looking at him as if she wouldn't give up until she beat him. On these days, Professor Longbottom always kept a careful eye on him.

The school was still with Aurors here and there, circulating the school, looking for any sign of the Hogsmeade murderer, as they called him. But the Aurors were much fewer, as the Ministry had to divide its forces, since they were also looking for the iconic mysterious alchemist who devastated the black market. They wanted to know his real identity, thinking he might be someone very influential and powerful. Therefore, they were not as aggressive, but they were looking for him all over England.

Days before, at the beginning of the week, the Daily Prophet published the connection between the two, suggesting they could be the same person, little knowing that it involved a Hogwarts student who had also dressed in a black cloak and mask, starting a massacre of dozens of dark wizards in a single day.

Over the weekend, Snape was revising his system. He had once again reached his maximum score and could no longer receive points in daily missions. Somehow, he needed to start leveling up to become even stronger. He had neglected his physical strength for too long, focusing too much on magic. Not that this was bad, after all, he could be considered one of the strongest wizards, even surpassing other professors.

The headmaster and the other professors were shocked by his growth. In terms of magic, he was already equal to a professor, but in terms of combat, he was far superior to them. But it still wasn't enough for Snape... The woman he fought two weeks ago had shown him that his strength was still far from reaching the top of this world. Moreover, there was Voldemort and even other powerful identities scattered around the world.

After all, to Snape, Voldemort was just a terrorist who wanted to dominate magical England. There was much more for Snape to explore in this world than just a small dictator thug in one country, amid so many others, not to mention the other magical schools scattered around the world.

It was time for him to seek magical creatures to fight and increase his level...
