The Announcement

Natsu, Luna, Happy and Elise were at a five star hotel that Natsu asked Princess Hisui to reserve rooms at as part of a favor for dealing with Hell Spawn and their would-be devastating plan. Natsu and Luna shared one room and Happy and Elise another room. As soon as they entered their room, Natsu immediately let his carnal desires run wild. The next morning Natsu, Luna, Happy and Elise left the hotel and took off on their way back to the guild. Happy and Elise flew them as far as they could until they ran out of energy. They took the train the rest of the way there which Natsu and Luna weren't too happy about. They ran into Lucy right as they were about to enter the guild hall.

"Oh hey Luna, Natsu. How was your trip?" Lucy asked the two dragon slayers.

"It was amazing. Natsu took me to a fancy restaurant in Crocus where he proposed to me. Then we spent the night in a five star hotel." Luna said excitedly as Lucy looked back at her in surprise.

"Wait he actually proposed to you?!" Lucy said in shock.

"Yep! Sure did! And she said yes!" Natsu said as he slung his arm over Luna's shoulder. Lucy hugged both Luna and Natsu.

"Congratulations you two! I'm so happy for you! " Lucy said happily as she let go of them.

"I'm gonna go on in." Natsu said as he opened the doors to the guild hall.

"Okay Natsu. I'll join you in a bit." Luna said as Natsu turned back and smiled at her.

"'Kay! See you inside!" Natsu said as he went inside the guild hall and the doors closed behind him. Lucy then turned to Luna, her eyes lit up with anticipation.

"So, let me see the ring!" Lucy said excitedly as Luna raised her left hand to show her the silver ring with a light blue curved teardrop shaped diamond. Lucy squealed with excitement.

"Wow it's so pretty! I didn't think Natsu would be able to afford an engagement ring. Speaking of being able to afford stuff, how did he pay for the fancy restaurant and five star hotel stay?" Lucy said to Luna.

"You know that whole fiasco with Hell Spawn during our training journey that me and Natsu told you about? Princess Hisui said she owed us a favor for saving the world from being void of all magic. And that's what Natsu asked her to do for us. Obviously he asked for the favor without my input, but I'm perfectly fine with that. The short little trip was lovely." Luna explained.

"I see. That makes sense. You have to tell me all the juicy details of your trip!" Lucy said with a smile.

"Well Happy and Elise started off flying us to Crocus. They didn't have the energy to get us all the way there so unfortunately we had to take the train the rest of the way. When we got to the restaurant, Natsu danced with me on the balcony. Then he knelt down and proposed to me. Of course I had to say yes. The moment was interrupted by his stomach growling so we sat down and ordered the most delicious food we've had in a while. After we ate, Natsu brought us to a five star hotel there in Crocus so we wouldn't have to endure a hellish train ride with full stomachs."

"Aww that's thoughtful of him. Though it benefited him too. So what did you guys do at the hotel?" Lucy said as Luna's face grew bright red and she started to fidget.

"W-well we umm... had sex then went to sleep." Luna said quietly, feeling a bit embarrassed admitting that. Lucy's face then became as red as Luna's.

"Sorry I asked." Lucy said as an awkward silence filled the air. While Lucy didn't want to pry into Luna's sex life, curiosity got the better of her.

"Was that your first time?" Lucy asked Luna who paused before answering.

"Well no. That was our third time. Our first time was on the night before we infiltrated the Domus Flau and ran into you. We did it for the second time in the morning. It was the start of dragon slayer mating season when we had our first time. Now it's nearing the end of mating season and we hadn't done it since we reunited with you. So Natsu had some pent up sexual frustration." Luna went into more detail. It was the first time Lucy had heard of dragon slayer mating season.

"Wait dragon slayer mating season? I didn't know dragon slayers had a mating season." Lucy said.

"Yeah dragon slayer mating season the time of year that dragon slayers are extra horny. It stems from dragon mating instincts." Luna explained to Lucy who nodded in understanding. Suddenly the guild hall doors burst open.

"Hey are you guys coming in or what?" Natsu asked, holding the doors open.

"Yeah we are. We were just talking about the trip." Luna said as she walked towards Natsu and entered the guild hall with Lucy following right behind her. The guild was busy and bustling as always. Suddenly Natsu stood up on one of the tables and shouted to get everyone's attention.

"Hey everyone! I have something important to say." Natsu said as he held his hand out to Luna. She took his hand and he pulled her up onto the table with him.

"I proposed to Luna and she said yes. We're gonna get married!" Natsu announced as Luna showed everybody the ring on her finger.

"Now that's a real man right there." Elfman said as everybody cheered. Natsu and Luna got off the table. Everyone crowded around Natsu and Luna and started congratulating the two of them. Luna was truly happy, surrounded by her Fairy Tail friends and being engaged to the one she loved.
