Pure Madness
The man sitting at the gates saw his older brother falling to his knees, gasping for air as if he was choking. When Drake reached out his hand toward him, Terix ran to his brother, who had fallen on the grass. When he reached him, he bent down and shook him lightly. "Drake? Drake? Can you hear me?"
The man made no gesture in response, did not even seem to breathe. When Terix saw him motionless, he worried he might be dead. The younger Draconian placed a thin leaf near Drake's nose and it trembled slightly. He was still breathing, but barely. Terix started to panic a little, he didn't know what to do or if he even had to do something.
As the emerald-eyed man was leaning over his older brother, trying to make heads or tails of what was happening, Drake rose abruptly. Gasping for air as if his lungs couldn't get enough, his head almost bumped into Terix's. The latter fell on his bottom trying to avoid Drake, shocked by his sudden movement.
