Chapter 22. Happy Luch Together

Linda is still hesitating. Kevin's face is with a little unhappiness: "Why, do not want to?"

Linda's eyes tell Kevin that Assistant Chen is here, it is not convenient to hold hands in hands in front of him.

Kevin and Assistant Chen both get Linda's meaning in one second.

Kevin says, "It doesn't matter. Just pretend he's not around."

Assistant Chen quickly gets into the car: "Sorry to bother you, I will leave some space for you two."

Linda carefully extends her left hand.

Kevin quickly puts Linda's small hand in his hands. This woman's hand is so small, so soft. He holds her hand in his, and feels stronger the desire to protect her.

Kevin takes her down a quiet road.

Linda thinks it is a little weird, what little corner are you taking me to, there is no restaurant on the road at all.

Kevin understands her doubts: "We'd better keep a low profile. I don't want to meet any paparazzies. This restaurant is private and only open to regular customers, so there are very few customers. it's a quieter and safer place. But the food here is superb, you won't be disappointed."

Linda nods: "OK, I understand, thank you."

They soon arrive at the door of the restaurant, where they are greeted by the beautiful waitress.

"Come with me, please."

The waitress shows them into the room where Kevin used to stay.

Kevin takes out the menu to Linda: "Have a look, what you would like to eat, it is my treat."

Linda looks into Wen's eyes: "You have helped me several times, and it is my turn to treat you."

Kevin is with a face of love: "You are my fiancée, protecting you and paying the bill is my bounden responsibility."

Linda smiles: "All right then. Waitress, some dishes that Mr. Wang usual orders, and add a squirrelfish and some green vegetables."

The waiter takes the menu and puts an hourglass on the table. She leaves a sentence: "We will serve all the dishes before all the sand drains to the bottom."

Linda stares at the hourglass in front of her, watching the colorful sand flowing down: "This sand bottle is really interesting, the sand color inside is really beautiful!"

"Well, if you like it. There is a sand painting show in the restaurant. After dinner, we can order a sand painting show in the room."

"That sounds great. I didn't expect you to choose such an interesting restaurant. I like it!"

"Don't you like the man who chooses the restaurant?" Kevin comes to tease her again.

"This, this, this, how can you lead the subject to yourself again? What if I say I don't like?"

His face darkens. 

Linda says quickly, "If I don't like you, it's certainly not the truth." As soon as she says that, her face flushes.

Such a little shy fiancée. Kevin can't stand it. He reaches out his hands and grasps Linda's hands tightly all at once, holding a pair of delicate little hands in his chest.

Suddenly the door rings, the waitress comes with a plate of steaming food.

The couple unclasps their hands tacitly.

The dishes come so quickly. After putting the last dish on the table, just the same time the sand inside the hourglass all falls to the bottom.

Linda opens her eyes widely and exclaims: "Wow, that's amazing, the time is just right."

"Don't be so busy lamenting. Just have a bite. Food tastes best in the first 20 minutes."

"Yeah, yeah, okay." Then Linda takes some fish covered with tomato sauce and puts it in her mouth.

She closes her eyes and sighs as she eats, "Wow, it's really delicious! "

Seeing his little fiancée satisfied expression, Kevin is very happy in the heart. He even wonders if Linda would have such a satisfied expression when they are in bed some days in the future.

Linda also puts some fish into Kevin's bowl: "You have a try, check if it is delicious!" 

Kevin likes sweet food too. He will definitely want to try the fish his little fiancée picks. 

He picks it up and puts it in his mouth, imitating Linda's style: "Wow, it's really delicious."

Linda looks at Kevin's satisfied face, thinking in her heart: If Kevin would have such a satisfied expression when they are in bed some days in the future.

This scene is so interesting. They don't know that they both have the same fantasy about each other.

This is a happy meal for them. 

When Dinner is over, Kevin asks: "Do you want to see the sand painting show?"

Linda wonders: Hasn't he always wanted me to explain about Tom? But he hasn't asked me a word today. That's a little weird.

Well, since he's talking about sand painting, why not, have a look.

"Yes, I'd like to see it."

Soon a performer who is a middle-aged man enters the room.

The music begins to sound relaxed and joyful. The performer paints on a nearby workbench, and the picture is projected on a wall three meters away from the couple.

Under the fingers of the performer, the bland sand forms a moving picture.

Linda could not take her eyes off it.

And Kevin could not take his eyes off her.

Her eyes suddenly turn to him: "Isn't sand painting interesting? "

"Girl who looks at sand paintings is more interesting." Kevin says.

"Don't be ridiculous, please. Pay attention to the influence in public."

"OK, you are my boss, you are my boss."

After the performance, the couple claps their hands in praise.

When the performer leaves the room, Linda looks at Kevin with a smile: "Thank you for taking me to eat such delicious food today, and such an interesting sand painting performance. Honestly, I'm very happy. Thank you so much."

Kevin sees the little fiancée and he is also very pleased: "Miss, this is my honor!" 

Linda could not help but ask him, "Why don't you ask me to explain for Tom?" 

Kevin holds her hands and looks into her eyes: "I don't want to force you. I respect your decision, and you are free to tell or not tell."

Linda could not help but have a souring nose: "Dear, you are so kind. Now I'm ready. I'm going to tell you everything."
