"What the hell is going on!!? They told me I should return earlier so that my tracks wouldn't be traced but, what happened...? All of their heart monitors have been deactivated, this is unbelievable thousands died in a single night?" There was a tantrum in one of the rooms located near the dormitory of the academy to its outstanding talents

This figure shrouded in mystery made a mess of the room where he was assigned along with his roommate. Their mission was a success but the thing that baffles him the most was the damage her organization had sustained. But there was nothing he could've changed and instead of remaining in the dark he calls every single underling in his ruling

"You called for us, Commander?" His subordinate appeared without hindering the orders of their master

"A quarter of our main forces within the Everglaze city has been wiped out within a single evening. Find the mastermind whose responsible for our loss and inform me once you're certain of their identity. This unknown figure, whoever he or she may be, that person has proven to be an obstacle," Before the sun would shine upon this city, hundreds of shadows searched the entirety of the map

Their goal was simple, to find the one who was responsible for the death of their comrades. But even after they managed to perfectly creep to the ruins where the museum once stood, they found nothing. The person who opposes their plans weren't just a powerhouse but a cunning figure who removed every mark he'd ever made

"Oh right, an early vacation before we even start our second day in class. I wish a terrorist attack would ensue every single~ Ow!!! What's the big idea Liv? I'm just basking in our early vacatio~" Before he was about to proceed with his upbeat attitude he notices the darting glares of denizens within the train

The people were terrified by his behavior and a few passengers started panicking as they mistook him for a terrorist. When he realizes the anguish he dealt and he stayed silent never questioning Olivia for her course of action

'What in the hell is going on in this town...? First, there was that massacre that happened before the entrance exam, and on our second day, the academy was suspended. What's more terrifying about this news is the fact that they hadn't discovered the culprit in these two cases. I just hope that our plans wouldn't be affected by this whole fiasco, it's the perfect time to train my crew,'

When Olivia handled her loose-mouthed teammate, their other member, Tanya resolved the ones who panicked. These three were now heading to one of the public one-dimensional rifts located within the Everglaze. As much as they hate the sight of monsters, these unclose rifts were the leading supplier of their gigantic spell

The very reason why this particular place was sunny and filled with lush greenery was due to this enormous spell. But there weren't any troubles in keeping these rifts as they are, since they accumulate an abundance of items. Some may even speculate that Everglaze was one of the few countries which grew just by trading their accumulated gear

"Can you repeat what you said again!!?" Olivia and her group were halted at the entrance of the rifts by a group that hailed from the guardian association

"Haven't you heard of the recent news? A wide range of terroristic activities ensued yesterday night. The authorities haven't found the suspects and they dispatched a few of their men to surveil the rifts. Before they return, the rifts are currently unavailable. Even some promising guardians aren't exempted," After she chatted with the guards she left and returned to the entrance where her allies were nowhere to be seen

'Strange, I could've remembered they were here? Did they leave to buy some last-minute equipment~ My phone!!? And this ringtone only appears if it's urgent,'

When she opened her phone to learn about the crisis her teammates disappeared without a single word. The contents left her stunned and most importantly they'd found the last piece for their team. To reign on top of everyone else they need their last teammate who's skilled in their area of expertise

Tanya: Livia if you're reading this then there's no time to explain. Zane and I found our big break. Screw the rifts we've just heard an excellent alchemist opened a shop... I've heard the shops selling some incredibly rare and most of them are high-grade potions

Zane: That's not all when we were waiting for your return, we met someone doing their daily jog. It's the 'One-Eyed Freak' that the whole school has been fussing about in his entrance exam. I heard that guy fended 9 people with a normal bow and guess what? He's the talk of the town after he disabled the terrorist yesterday evening

Tanya: Zane's waiting for us in the shop, im currently tailing that archer. Make sure that you'd join us after you read our messages. You are the one who's been eyeing recruiting this guy on our team, right?

Tanya: I'll send you the location after I've tracked his final destination. In the meantime call our new recruit. Neon can easily match his speed, it's hard to admit but this bastard is slippery as an eel]

"The One-Eyed Freak?" She ran as soon as possible to the alchemy shop whilst she calls for her fourth mysterious backer

[Neon: Olivia! What's the matter? Did something happen? I haven't heard from the three of you since our first day in school, how are you?

Olivia: Thats not important, Neon do you have some time on your hands? Tanya's currently chasing after the most promising recruit that we could've ever snagged. I need your help in tailing that guy~

Neon: You're still worried about that? Didn't I tell you guys in our entrance exam that I already have someone in mind? Look, there's not going to be anyone else more capable than the guy I had in mind. Even if I have the time which I don't, I can't possibly help you I just started my first day at my part-time job

Olivia: Fine! If you're done with your job you can meet us in this location that im about to send you. I heard that a new shop just appeared and it's been swarmed with guardians day in and day out. Zane assumed that the owner is at least Grade A or above, we need to commission some potions before it closes~]

When she finally arrived at the entrance of the store, Olivia was confused when there wasn't a single person in sight. But before she would doubt the information given to her by Zane, she opens the door in disbelief. In front of her was her colleague that's reclining on a luxurious chair and was treated as a guest of this fine establishment

"Zane, what are you doing?" To her surprise, her colleague doesn't fully realize his situation and only complies with the employee's request

"Are you perhaps Ms. Olivia Greytoun? Your description has no flaw, we've been waiting for your arrival!!! Please take a seat, the branch manager closed the shop since he found the time to meet the three of you. We'll be available to tend to your needs, please wait here I'll report to the owner that you've arrived," She was bewildered by this experience after she was treated as an important guest

In front of her was a table full of delightful sweets and caramel tea which were left unchanged. She moved her chair a little closer to Zane's and when she was about to say a word, they were interrupted. The racket of the chimes within the door took their attention and the curtains near the entrance unveil a familiar face

"Let go of me!!! I didn't do anything wrong," Tanya arrived bounded a material comparable to metal and yet it could bend to the caster's will

What's more surprising was the one who apprehended her, it was an individual in his teens and the person they wanted to recruit. His description was unmistakable as it is, a humanoid guardian who dons black hair, and an eye patch covering his right eye. What's more the rumors have spoken of his upbeat personality and calm demeanor. But as a result of his suspicion, he was never kind and his body emits a powerful surge of blood lust

"Master!!! Where are you? Someone's been following me in my morning jog, I think she's part of the terrorist group~ Ow!!!" His presence was overshadowed by a greater force along with his noggin receiving a direct impact from a glass tube
