Silvia and Liam were walking around the vegetable displays. She was busy picking some ingredients for their dinner.

Silvia would take small glances at her son who was holding the cart while she picked some ingredients. She couldn't help but smile at her son's cute figure.

Liam just silently watched his mother, though his mother was taking a long time picking some vegetables and would occasionally thoroughly inspect each one. Liam didn't mind at all as he just held the cart while looking at some displays on the shelf.

After a few minutes of picking some ingredients, Silvia was finally finished "Sweetie it's your turn now, I'll help you look for your ingredients" Silvia said.

"Sure" As they went to some displays, Liam took some flour, eggs, and other ingredients for his cake. He even bought some beans along the way for his coffee.

Silvia watched all this with curiosity, she was wondering why Liam would take some ingredients associated with baking a cake. She didn't have a problem though but she was curious about what Liam was planning.

"Liam sweetie? What are you going to make with these ingredients?" Silvia asked while Liam was still putting stuff in his small basket.

"Oh I'm thinking of making a cake or maybe cupcakes and maybe some bread," Liam said, he didn't bother to hide it from his mother.

"Oh, you're making a cake? Do you want Mommy to help?" Silvia said with delight this could be a great time for her to spend more quality time with her son.

"Hmm sure" Liam didn't think about it much, he knew how to bake a cake but it would be quite strange if he would bake a cake without anyone instructing him on the basics.

"That's all I need," Liam said as he held the small basket with ingredients neatly placed in it.

As the mother and son duo began to walk to the counter, Liam could see some children holding afar a book. Upon passing by the kids averaging the age of nine to ten, Liam could see it was his comic book GOTG. Liam just rose a smile as they began to walk near the counter.

After reaching the counter, Liam's mother began putting each on the counter while the cashier was busy totaling everything.

"How about you put your ingredients on the counter sweetie Mommy would pay for them," Silvia said as she gestured for Liam to put the items inside the basket to the counter.

"It's ok Mom I have some money Dad gave me," Liam said, he asked for some money from his father before coming here and John happily gave him 700 dollars, this was already a huge sum of money at this time.

Liam wanted to give the money back and just 350 dollars would be enough, but this made John furious, and insisted on giving the 700 dollars to him.

John explained that this was the pocket money for Liam that was saved for three years due to him never asking for his allowance. And now Liam already has 700 dollars plus the profits from GOTG.

"Oh, so your father gave you money, but still let me pay" Silvia insisted, taking the basket away from Liam's grasp as she put the basket down on the counter.

Liam just sighed in defeat. As Silvia and the cashier were busy.

Liam glanced at the children holding his comic book GOTG they were discussing while standing close to the small bookshelf on one of the counters.

Liam got curious and walked to one of the counters that have got magazines, newspapers, and GOTG on display.

Liam touched the smooth comic book, he was proud that this is his creation.

"Do you want to buy one kid?" The fat male clerk in his late 30s said as he stared at Liam.

"No I'm just curious since all the other children were reading it" Liam gave a small smile glancing at GOTG that is being held by the clerk.

"It's the highest in demand right now kid. Many people are immersed in it even I'm immersed in this story, you should buy one I'm sure you will enjoy it" The clerk said to Liam joyfully.

"Hmm maybe another time," Liam said, he was glad that many people were reading his work. "Anyways what's fun about the GOTG anyways?"

"Wait what! Don't tell me you never heard of GOTG before?" Jared said. He recently got addicted to this new book they call Comic, and ever since buying a copy, he would re-read it from time to time. All he can say is that this comic was amazing. He never got bored even though he kept on re-reading it a bunch of times.

Liam just shakes his head telling no. Though he was gleefully smiling inside.

"God it's amazing kid! It's been released by this new news agency. Anyways why don't you buy one kid I'm sure you will love the story" Jared said, but still, the kid in font of him looked unimpressed.

"Here" Jared opened one of the contents of the comic book. "Look at the graphics kid it's amazing and eye-catching, and the small details gosh"

"Oh it does have great graphics" Liam said acting a little impressed by his work. But deep inside Liam was already happily laughing in delight at what the clerk said.

It feels nice having someone complementing your hard-work. Liam remembered the time where he used to spend a lot of days just to finish the whole story of GOTG but now he doesn't even have to, he just spends a few hours and he was done creating a whole comic series.

Liam shakes jis head out of his thoughts as he looked at the expression of the male clerk.

"Just great?! It's a masterpiece! I'm telling you the artist who draws this is amazing! He or She is like Leonardo Da Vinci Kid!" Jared said still looking at the unimpressed reaction of the kid.
