Future Plans(Rewritten)

It's been 4 months since JTV's rebirth. While they were not producing any new shows for now, they were in talks with other sponsors and producers about extending current shows.

Mason had managed to convince the Board to extend Harry's tenure as JTV director for another year. While it may seem less, but for Harry, it was enough. He was busy with selecting out new shows for the second part of his tenure.

"I think I will go to Japan. Maybe see if there's something worth be known to world. " Harry said to Lisa.

"Why Japan sir? " She asked. She was angry that Harry was dumping all the paper work on her by his trip/vacation.

"It's not a vacation like you think. It's a business trip. Maybe its partly a vacation but I think you can understand. " Harry smiled at her. That damn smile.

Lisa sighed.

"Fine, but for how long will you be gone? "

"Maybe one to two months. I will finish my work here first. " He said. He had to select a few more shows for them to produce. There were many scripts to choose from. They had gained a little bit of fame in the past four months. Did I mention a lot of money too?

"See this, it's about a guy who wants to make his crime family known throughout London. Maybe we can do this. It's entertaining. " Harry suggested as he looked at the paper on his hand. He had seen this in his past life. It was hit back then. Maybe it would be a hit now too?

"People don't like to watch gangster drama anymore. They like family friendly stuff more. " Lisa stopped him before he could go any further.

"Then we will have to postpone this for a few years then. Maybe by then people will accept this kind of genre more. " Harry was a bit sad. He wanted to do Breaking Bad too but the thing is, he doesn't remember the script.

He has no golden finger and only knows about things by memory. And he doesn't have a photographic memory like those other novel protagonists. He only knows about general things, not the specific details. If he knew everything, then he would have made many shows by now. Maybe even movies.

He was no director in his past life. He didn't know anything about how a movie is made. He was more of a producer type. But that didn't mean he couldn't learn to make his own things. But the process would be too long and risky. So it was better to take things slowly and build up a reputation first. Then slowly learn how to direct. First TV shows then finally step into Hollywood as a director.

"Look at this. It's about a guy surviving a zombie apocalypse. He finds his boss's daughter and together they both try to survive in the new world. " Lisa read out. Harry was interested now. He had played a similar game like this before in his past life. A TV series about this.....

"This seems to have some potential. Let's go with it. Only this will be our new production. Rest of the budget will be put into making second season of Power Rangers. There were a lot of show quality complaints last season. Maybe we can to some animated shows too if we have sufficient money left. " Harry ordered Lisa who began to work on the selected script.

Harry looked at the time on his watch and sighed. It was getting late. But that didn't matter to him. He had made his office his home anyway. He had did the same thing in his past life as well. Maybe because he didn't have a girlfriend or anything related to female waiting for him at his official home. After his divorce, he didn't trust any woman.

He also had to make preparations for his trip to Japan

AN: I have seen a lot of books having the protagonist have mcu as the cash cow. I am thinking about doing something different. Maybe DC?

BTW, I am excited about Deadpool and wolverine

Also, I am thinking about diving a bit into football(Soccer) it will mostly be sort of a side story and the main focus will be on hollywood. Football will mostly he his vacationing go to. He won't be coach or anything like that
