Chapter 8 - I Love You

Gu Jun Pyo halts his car in front of Su Min's apartment and contemplated if he should go talk to her, or just leave.

"What would I talk to her about? what am I going to say to her? I slept with another woman on the night we broke up! I got engaged one week after that. what the hell am I going to say to her?! He punched the steering wheel angrily.

"I ruined it all! I ruined it all!!

"I lost her because I was stupid! stupid!! stupid!!!

"I should have asked why she wanted to break up. I should have asked why she wanted to end it! I should have asked. I should have asked! He shouted then he puts his head on his steering wheel as images of that day flashes in his mind.

She walks into 'The Love Garden' looking very beautiful, and sweet. she saw her and went to her and after they placed their order. He said, "Su do you know there's a dream I have been nurturing for a while now and I can't wait to achieve it, Do You know what it is?

"No, I don't." she replied.

"Should I tell you?"

"Hmm."

"I want to build an empire in your name, I want to show the world what you mean to mean to me we'll get married and have three to four kids and when the kids come of age. I'll hand the business over to them, then travel around the world with you.

"Why? She said in a whisper but he could hear her voice crack.

"Is that even a question?" It's because I love you, Su." I want to show the world what you mean to me." I wanna show the world that I'm everything I am because you love me. I am what I am because of your love.

"Please don't," She cried. Please don't love me so much, I am not worthy. I don't deserve your love.

"Well, my dear, the heart wants what it wants. I love you and there's nothing you or me can do about it. I didn't tell my heart to love you, it just did. I love you since I first set my eyes on you, I love you now and I'll love you forever,

Jun Pyo stepped on the table and shouted "I Love You" do you hear me, Yan Su Min "I Love You."

"Stop!! She cried again. Please just stop."

Coming close to her, he wipes her face. Why are you crying now? Are you not happy? or don't you love me anymore? even if you don't want to tell me you love me, I know you do and I'm willing to wait. I'll wait till...."

"Don't wait for me, please don't wait. Don't love me so much please. I don't deserve your love, I'm not worth it." She said amidst tears.

"That's not for you to decide, you know. I have loved you since a long time ago, I fell in love with you the very day I set my eyes on you, how can you tell me not to love you?" What is wrong with you today?" How could you say such a thing to me?"

Suddenly she stood up and yanked his hand away. Surprised, Jun Pyo was about to ask what was wrong and why she was behaving so strangely, before he heard her say, "Let's Break Up!"

"What? Break up?! Why?!!

Then he heard her voice again, "Jun Pyo, your world is too vast and I'm too timid to go with. I don't have the strength to wander. Hence, I have to stay put, and in order not to drag you down with me, we have to go our separate ways. so, after today let's not see each other. let's become strangers."

"What? what are you even saying to me? is this even a reason to break up? he said holding her hand. "Are you upset with me? Did I do something wrong? please don't do this?

"Stop! she yanked his hand off hers, she stood up and left.

"Ahh!!! Jun Pyo pushed the table away angrily and sits on the floor.

"Sir! What happened sir? The manager rushed to him, and asked what's wrong when he saw him sitting on the floor.

Jun Pyo got up angrily and pushed the manager aside. "Nothing is wrong, just get lost! he puts his hands in his pocket and brought out some notes. He gave it to the manager and he also left. Feeling agitated, he didn't want to go home. He wanted to cool off. He needed to blow off some steam. so, he drove to Doves.

'Doves' is a Club, a hangout for the Rich and the elites. it's a place to cool off after a hectic day at work. It's a place to have utmost fun.

"Give me a bottle of whiskey please," Jun Pyo ordered. He gulped down the content of the bottle immediately, then sets it down after finishing it. "One more please! one more please! he kept ordering for more until he finished four bottles of whiskey and still couldn't get his thoughts straight. Can I have one more please? He ordered again.

"Hey man! Take it easy! A man said sitting beside him. Cheating or break up?

"Huh? Jun Pyo asked, wondering how the stranger could guess what was wrong with him.

"I said did your woman cheat on you or break up with you?

Looking surprised Jun Pyo asked, "How did you know?

"I know because, I've been there. I've been through this too and I know how it feels. The man explained.

Jun Pyo placed the bottle down. "I told her I love her. I told her I wanted a future with her! I told her I want the world to see how much she means to me and the reply she gave to all of that was to break up! To break up damnit!! she asked for a breakup. To break up!! who does that?! I mean, who gives such a reply to a hearty confession?

"Maybe there's a reason behind that you know, why don't you talk to her? the man suggested

"Y...es.... Jun Pyo burped. Why didn't I talk to her? I didn't think about it, I was too shocked and angry... I felt she doesn't want me anymore

"And why would you think that?

Jun Pyo hiccupped. "she said my world is too vast for her and that we do not belong together. so we should go our separate ways and become strangers. I thought she...."

"My man! you don't seem to understand a woman. She might have gotten someone better than you and wanted to dispose You off, so she cooked up stories about different worlds. listen Man. when she needs you, she'll come find you. So, I'll advise you to forget her, enjoy and live life to the fullest.

"Sh... she'll come to me?

"Of course, she will."

"She will come to me? he murmured and fell asleep with his head on the table.

"Hey man! wake up. The Man called tapping his cheek, "You should go home..."

hiccups..."I....I... hic.... can't go home, I'll go to a hotel.

"I'll help you; I can do that for you as a friend! what's your name? so I could make a reservation for you, the man asked.

"It's Jun Pyo! Gu...Jun....Pyo."

The man made a call to a hotel and booked a room, then said "it's done. It's hotel Del Ario okay? I'll help you hail a cab as I don't think it's a good idea to have you drive in this condition."

The man brought him inside the cab and told the driver where he needed to drop him. "Okay man, bye!

After alighting the cab. He went inside the reception desk to confirm his confirm the booking and get a key to his room. After confirming his reservation and room number he collected the key card and went. halfway to his room he seems to have forgotten his room number.

"What room number did she say again? he asked himself.

"Ah yes. she said 231..."

Jun Pyo staggered his way to room. he slid the keycard in and pushed the door. it opened without an effort. but he was too drunk to notice. He went inside the room and laid on the bed. He turned to the other side of the bed and discovered someone else was on the bed. Too drunk to think he smiled, "So you came back? Thank you so much for coming back to me."

"Thank you so much, I promise to love you for eternity. I'll never leave you; I'll never stop loving you." He pulled her close to him and hugged her tightly.

The woman opens her eyes at been squeezed so tightly and said, Hey! What are you doing?

"It's okay Su, don't be angry anymore."

"Hey...she protested totally wasted too I....am... not Su..."

"Please Su, don't be mad at me anymore. Don't leave me, I love you, I love you so much. I have loved only you all my life, please just accept my love. Don't be angry with me anymore please. Jun Pyo pleaded as he sobbed. "I really love you."

Then he kissed her stated kissing her hungrily. He released her when they were both out of breath. then he flipped her around and kissed her nape, her shoulder, her back, And He slowly slid off her dress, while placing kisses on her naked body...."
