Chapter 13 of chapter 6 I thought heard voices

It was a sunny day, as the sun shines it hottest upoo6the building of the mansion. 

After incident that happens, the mighty Duke claim a low class black girl as his woman makes everyone shocked. It was surprisingly to the faces of them all. How come the Duke claim a black woman as his woman in the presence of everyone.. leaves the gossip about Isabella stop. They first thought maybe he was having her to please his pleasure didn't know it was getting this serious. 

No one dare to think or mention her name again in their mouths. As all seem slience. 

But that didn't stop their daily activities. Lady Gogo had instructed some of the maids to go into the busy for some cooking woods. 

Among the maids appointed to, Emma was one of them. She set herself along the crowd and they went into the woods to grab on some free woods laying on the ground alone. She departed herself from the others, and went her separate way picking up every branch she seen. 

Along the path, she heard voices in the woods and woner who might be since the voices are arguing on something not too clear to her ears. 

She steps further, the more she walks the more the voices become clear to her. 

She later recognize one of the voice. 

"Lady Angela?" She whispered, wondering what she is doing in the woods when she should be in the kitchen cooking for the lord. 

She wanted to step back but her instance keeps her going. With fear to step closer to them. She stop, looking at the color clothes displaying in the trees leaves. Since the trees are short and their leaves are wide covering her sight to see clearly. 

Then, she decided to call out to Lady Angela, if she didn't answered, she would call the security guards who are not far away.

"Lady Angela?" She called but no answer her, the voices which are discussing before stop.

"Lady Angela, is that you?" She call again. Since she didn't get answers, she steps a bit back to call out for the others. Then, Lady Angela walks out of the leaves with her scarf still covering her face.

"Lady Angela?" She asked surprisingly, Lady Angela who seen the girl was holding on to trees branch on her hands immediately smiled

"Oh it's you Emma, I can see you are here to pick up branch too." She said while still smiling at her. 

"Yes...yes what are you doing here?" Emma stermmer. Earlier she was frighten before but after Lady Angela finally show up, she felt a little relief but still wonder why she was here in the first place...

"I am also here to get branches. Why do you asked?" 

" Get branches? I though the cooks never done that? And I asked because I heard voices"  Emma replied growing suspicious of Lady Angela..

"The ones the maids always get for me never burn well. That the reason I came here by myself to get the branches I want but I haven't found them yet." 

" Okay" 

But her eyes wasn't out of her, " Tell me did you come here all alone too?" 

" No, I came with others maids, they're in the part of the woods" she explained.

" Oh I see" the lady bend down to pick up any laying branch. " I think this one would burn well" she said packing up the few branch she just picked.

With looks of suspicious, Emma said

"I thought I heard voices" 

"Voices? What voices?" Lady Angela pretend to be unaware of what the girl was saying.

"I thought I heard voices from the trees. Where you just step out from"

" Oh that, I'm practicing my acting skill. You don't have to worry about that"

" But what I heard was both of men voice too" 

Truly this girl is just annoying as her dying friend. Inorder to make this topic died off her mouth,

"Oh Emma, I am sure you might be mistaking, I am the only talking to myself and no man is with me. What about that health of Isabella? Have there been any record?" She asked sadly, 

Immediately Emma mind shift back to Isabella, it was difficult for her to copy after seeing the typical condition of Isabella. 

She heaved a tired sighed. "I don't know" she replies with watery eyes. She had been her sister to her. She can't afford to lose her now. 

Lady Angela tap her on the shoulder. "I understand your pains but she would be fine. Okay?" 

Emma nodded,

" Now, let go and meet the others to get back to the kitchen before Lady Gogo start with her scream.

After them left that part of the woods, the two men hiding behind the leaves comes out.

"That girl sure have a good sense to heard that far" Matthew comment
