Chapter 12

Lucy's pov

I go after him not stopping until I get to him. Even when I run face first into a brick wall, by the way that hurt like H.E.L.L. Since I was going extremely fast and practically running. I'm a bit wobbly but manage to make it to the entrance in record time. This one was of course the closest to where the car was parked. I shove through the crowd of people trying to get through without hurting anyone. In the middle of it all not to my surprise was the two. Laxus has always been one for causing big disturbances. I think I can take an absolutely wild guess on who threw the first punch.

By the way that this is turning out with Laxus on top. He freezes when he spots me in the crowd but I just cross my arms challenging him. To what? I don't know but that doesn't matter right now I get off topic so fast. While he is distracted the guy comes up from behind him getting ready to strike. without thinking I make a jump right in front of him to protect him from this horrible person. I hear Laxus scream right before sending a lightning bolt in rage. everything goes in slow motion as it connects with me. What he doesn't realize is that it hit me until I fell to the ground.

I keep on fading in and out of consciousness that is until a blinding light is shone in front of me. I think that I'm imaging it until everyone else stares in awe at it. This is what envelops me as I raise slowly off the ground. My dress is hanging behind me as my golden hair billows around me. I stay in a laying position as something shoots through my body. I gasp as all of the spirits my mom used to have circle around me. They each say something to me in their own kind of very eccentric ways of speaking.

I see my mothers face in the middle of it all an exact replica of me just a little older. "This is your destiny" she whispers slowly fading away. I'm left so confused in what she even means by that I don't realize that I start to come back to the present. I am set gently back down onto the floor in the middle of everyone. My abdomen is fully healed from where there was just a hole a second ago. With shaky legs I manage to stand which I'm miraculously able to do by myself. Laxus appears by my side like he never left it at all the whole time.

At least that's the way he acted right now. I allow him to hug me kind of tentatively at first. He rubs soothing circles on my back. Even though in my heart I know that he didn't mean it. Once he detaches himself from me kind of reluctant from both of us, even though I kind of made him do that. "Ok lets go home" I say steering him toward the door. He instructs someone to wait for the police to get here. Who I called since he wasn't in the right mindset to. We have a lot to talk about when we get back. He seems mad about something and won't talk to me at all.

I'm staring out the window as things whiz by us super fast since he's probably speeding. I only do this since I get carsick really easily that's why I let him drive. Finally I see the house coming into view. When we arrive at out destination he goes in kind of abrupt to the driveway. When Laxus slams the door I jump in surprise. I sit in the car texting Levy until I gather up enough courage to go inside. Which I'm dreading the talk we are about to have but it needs to happen. I go in seeing him wrapping his hands. After I watch him put on the gloves and go to the gym. He still hasn't noticed me and if he has he didn't acknowledge me at all. I follow him and say " we need to talk."

How will it go?
