Her intention, His agony.

All it took was a gunshot.....bang!. .... Diva decides to stay in her mother's homeland for a while, not because she needed the space her grandma and father told her she needs- time heals. Picking up her bag and leaving the room... her mother's killer was far away from the kingdom but not far from her mother's country. He was there. ___ 'Red-eyed creatures don't exist. They are just myths'. Her friend Hailey said with an air of confidence and knowledge as she chew on her burger. Myths?. If there are just myths and don't exist, then does that mean that she was just hallucinating things when she saw those pair of blood-red eyes looking at her. After a while, her friend asked her, 'Why do you ask? Have you seen anyone?'. Yes, once in her nightmares, twice in her school. 'Anyways, next time you see Emma and his friends, run in the opposite direction'. Diva nodded and rose her head, only to be met with someone's threatening gaze. 'Come outside'. She read the words off his lips. ___ The events around her mother's death still played fresh in her memory and helped to remind her of her revenge-- to give her mother's killers a slow and painful death. But would she be able to go through with her plans after falling in love with the killer, especially after he had confessed his feelings to her?.

Pleas

' Hey man. Can't you keep still? '. These words were enough to jolt Diva out of her temporary trance and look at Dawin, concerned.

Dawin was strong but why did she have this feeling that his strength was incomparable with that of Emma. He should never be involved with this guy. Dawin should never be involved with the guy that sipped nonchalantly from his can of malt with his gaze fixed entirely on him. There was nothing but amusement in his watches as he dropped the can down on the table and licked his lips. A smirk appeared on his face.

' Dawin what are you doing? '. It rolled out as a whisper from her lips. Apparently, she was not ready for the f*king shit that was to be. A battle, fight, war, whatever you call it. She was here to eat and not be caught in it. From the smirk plastered on Emma's face, there was a fight meant to happen, cause that was for sure going to rile Dawin up.

' I don't know. Tell me '. Now he was facing her as his words hit her face. She could feel the gazes increasing. It seems that the women at the counter have stopped to watch a fight yet to begin. They were all looking at her and not the two boys. Why?. Well, Dawin now looking at her was only putting her in the spotlight.

' Dawin, I don't know why you are doing this. But you have to stop whatever it is you are planning to do with it. Don't put me in the spotlight. Don't drag me in this mess with you '. She continued with the whisper but the annoyance was evident in her tone as she bent down to continue with her meal. Hopefully, he will stop whatever it is that he was doing and not bring trouble to her poor soul.

Dawin was still adamant.

' Tell me, Diva. What it is I am doing?. Trying to tell that paraded chicken to not disturb atmosphere with his overrated personality and clamorous noise'. Wow!. Diva lifted her eyes a little to see Emma's face. She had whispered to Dawin but his reply was with a loud voice, that which could be heard in the now quiet room. The whispers, giggles, and chuckles of the students were a confirmation that they all had heard what Emma told her and were now mocking Emma's person. God help her.

She was trying to avoid every and anything that would make her cross path with him. Emma was trouble and she knew it as she knew her name. One to be feared.

The insult or joke, call it whatever you think, did not sit well on Emma. The darkening of his gaze or was it his pupils, was proof that Dawin had just stirred his other part. That part that.....

A whooshing sound escorted by a heavy thud rang in Diva's ears as she bolted out of her chair, frightened. Everything happened so fast and now Emma was sitting on Dawin, lashing blows at him. Her eyes went wide in shock.

' Stop. Please stop '. Her cries fell on deaf ears as the blows became louder in her ears. Or was it the cracking of bones?

She turned around for help. All the students were now out of their seats, watching the drama before their eyes. Some were standing on tables, some on chairs and some agreed to carry the other to have a better view. No one was listening to her. No one was paying attention to her pleas. Instead, their cheers filled the hall.
