' When did you get here? '. Diva asked the person at the table as she sat down and placed a tray on it.

' Not too long ago. Saw with a group of people and decided to wait for you '. Diva looked at Dawin as he drank from a bottle of coke before dropping it down to look at her. ' Seems like you are becoming popular '. She inquisitively looked at him and all he did was raise his bottle, pointing it in the direction she had just walked from.

Diva turned back to see the table she left. The boys were smiling deeply and the girls.... well, they were managing a beam. But, those were not the only gazes she felt on her person. Every table, every single chair had the occupant turning their heads in her direction. Her eyes widened in realization and swiftly, she turned back to Dawin.

' Ok, let's be candid here '. She said as she held her fork out, pointing the tip at him. ' I am not the one they are looking at. Nor am I the popular one amongst the two of us. You are the one '.

Her words were followed by a deafening silence with Dawin seriously looking at her. She could barely hear the clinking sound of cutleries and whispers as everything around her turned vague with her eyes on Dawin. At least a majority of them had gone back to their meals.

Patiently, she waited for him to say something. His gaze was fierce and now piercing. Not that she had ever seen him serious, she has never seen him with such expression towards her. Was he angry at what she said?.

Suddenly, a burst of laughter erupted in his throat. Loud and very infectious. From the side of her eye, everybody stopped what they were doing to look at Dawin. Anger and envy, she felt them in some stares. Turning, she saw the stares coming from the girls. The boys were curiosity and mesmerization mixed in their eyes. Why were the girls not having that hint of curiosity?. Seriously, did they have to be less understanding?.

' Okay, will you stop looking at me like that?.

I promise to be open '. She had turned back to Emma, letting his words hit straight at her face.

Diva dazed at Emma, completely baffled at his statement. What was there in the way she looked at him?. Ok, was that enough reason for his raucous laughter that dragged everyone's attention toward them?

' What would I be doing with popularity when all I want to do is hide?. You are ridiculous Dawin. I don't want to hear anything from you again. Eat. In. Peace '. She rounded up their conversation and started eating.

Now, it was Dawin's turn to look at her with utmost surprise and astonishment. She did not even give him the chance to explain things. More like she was already too impatient and giving up on her question quickly.

Well, that was because Diva was tired of every lingering gaze, especially from the girls. She could feel the threat from their little human eyes. She scoffed and continued eating. Their eyes were almost falling out of their sockets but she was not the least threatened. She was rather worried about the outcome of their stares. A raising rumor. Lord, help her

She lifted her head and saw a group of boys walking to the table across their table. Their movement was followed by a screeching sound and her mouth fell agape as she sighted Emma sitting on his chair. Was it a routine for him to haul his chair out before sitting in it?.

Dawin that was seated with his back opposite them turned abruptly to face them.

' Hey man, can't you be quiet? '. Diva heard Dawin's confrontation and dragged in her breath as Emma looked up to face them. Now, she was caught in a staring contest with everyone as the spectators.
