Returning back to the roots (part-3)

A frown slowly formed on Khygnos' face as her mind drifted towards her companions.

Companions, whom she had led to war all those years ago, companions who, despite all odds, had survived, but now they were leaving for extended periods without informing her in person.

"It is as if I am stuck in a gilded cage, and I do not like it."

Khygnos rubbed her forehead as she let out a sigh, 'I am getting too paranoid for my liking.'

'I wish to be able to move more freely than being treated like some fragile creature.'

'Maybe I should see how the youngsters of my clan are practising.'

With that thought in mind, Khygnos quickly made her way to the private training ground of her clan.

As Khygnos approached the training grounds, the clan members stopped their practices as they greeted her.

Khygnos smiled at them as she spoke, "Please do not stop continue with your practice."
