Gwen received a call from her mother, stating that her uncle was in town, and invited her family for a dinner together.

"Uncle Raymond? Sure I'll love to go!" Gwen replied excitedly as her uncle was the one who had encouraged her to pursue a path in science.

Raymond Warren, the head of the secret research department under Norman Osborn, had been headhunted by the Roxxon company.

He took the offer readily as Norman had lost all of his motivation in the path that they were researching. To combine animal genes with humans to cure genetic diseases inside a person.

Raymond saw that the path will bring something more, and was extremely disappointed with Norman after he discontinued the research.

Although Norman had returned to his previous self after the New York War and had opened up the cross-genetic lab back, Raymond had already cut off all contact with the man and started researching by himself in his research lab.

Raymond considered Gwen as his own child and had been guiding her since she was young. He had a bitter feeling toward Ryan, as Gwen's fiance had influenced Gwen badly and brought her to his own company – instead of her working with him.

They planned to have dinner on Sunday, the day after Gwen would have dinner with Ryan's family.

In Manhattan. At Roxxon's hidden experimental lab.

"Please, I didn't know that they would be able to catch our experiments alive!" The bald researcher who had sold the rejects to Alexei was begging for his life.

But instead, he was pushed down face-first on the floor and stomped heavily on the back of his head. His nose was bloody from the impact of the fall.

"We already had trouble with SHIELD as the previous experiments were caught alive by the vigilante..V. We had countermeasures, so why are the rejects STILL ALIVE!"

With his face flush red in anger, Raymond stomped onto the head of his subordinate again, and again, and again... Previously, he was a kind and gentle man. But after he injected a DNA-specific serum into his body, his dark personality had taken over his mind, leaving the kind part of him locked somewhere deep inside.

The kind part of him would come out when the situation was manageable, and his dark personality would handle the crisis.

They have been running low on funds for the research, so they had to get some like-minded investors and that's why they had been selling enhanced humans as commodities on the black market.

"Bring Alexei to me. Scrap all of our data on the missing experiments and kill all of the researchers that are involved, " Raymond ordered the mercenaries he hired for his lab cruelly.

The young interns and the veteran researchers, all of them will lose their life today, without even knowing why.

Raymond had special treatment for Alexei who had caused this mess. A new serum he created with the mutagen and the cross-species research, named the RHINO, was reserved especially for the weapon dealer.

It wasn't that hard to search for Alexei as the guy was waiting to complain about the mercenaries to the customer service.

Yes, Alexei considered the siblings mercenaries, not slaves. The thought that the siblings might be brainwashed and have a suicide collar as a reserve didn't even cross his mind. He thought of the switch that was given to him by the dealer so that he could remove the collar from the siblings in times of need.

Sometimes, being stupid has it's own perk – not for the idiot of course.

If Alexei had pressed the switch after he ran away, Kai wouldn't have gotten any clues on this investigation.

Raymond got a text after he had given his order. The anger from his face melted instantly when he read the message. It was from his niece, confirming the meeting that they will have in 3 days.

At Knight's Manor, Ryan got a text from Gwen asking about the dinner confirmation. He agreed to go with her easily as they would become a family now.

"Although Raymond always seemed to dislike me though I am not sure why," Ryan muttered as he sent the text to Gwen who was still on the island at the moment.

"Yup, that is the same alright," Marcus said after he requested to see the gun that he had given to Ryan on his 16th birthday. He held the gun in his hand and was checking the various parts of the gift.

"You know, if you love it so much, why did you give it to me?" Ryan asked.

Marcus put the gun back on the desk inside Ryan's previous room and slid it over to him.

"With it, I managed to survive my worst moments of life. I was hoping you would too," Marcus replied. With it, he had killed his close friends. His enemies in battle. And also the ones who had betrayed him.

Ryan felt a little guilty inside his heart as he knew that the real gun had already crossed the omniverse.

"Urm… let's talk about something else. How was your experience in Singapore?"

Marcus tried to concoct some insane stories, with details specific to the enemy of Hydra, to make sure that Ryan didn't connect him with the organisation.

Hydra didn't know if Ryan already knew about them, so they had to be safe.

They were also trying to see Ryan's reaction toward Marcus. If Ryan goes mad and starts to illegally commit international crimes, it will be beneficial to Hydra as they can threaten him to join their side.

Tim's saviour during the incident with the alleged Ten Ring organisation, Brigadier General Hale, had been trying to convince him that he should join their league for the security reasons, of course without mentioning the name of hydra.

Ryan furrowed his brow at Hydra's aggressive move. 'Have they decided to ignore Zola…after all this time?'

His method of controlling Hydra's action through the A.I. had failed for the first time as Hydra is feeling the urgency for some action. There are only two choices that they will allow for the Knight family. First, it's to join them. Second, is to be obliterated.

Marcus was smiling gently as he watched Ryan while the other party was playing with his phone. Marcus was thinking of the moment when he would stop showing his fake smile toward Ryan, what would Ryan think of him at that time?

Kai walked into the bar after Jessica and Ava reported the location to him.

Luke Cage was startled when Kai asked him about Roxxon, however, he did calm down after Kai shared what was happening to the pair of superpowered siblings and how he needed to find the pure sample of the mutagen to help them.

Luke knew about Kai as the latter's identity was leaked. When an Avenger comes to ask for help, he will, without a doubt, answer the question honestly. Kai coming here personally and not reporting him to the authorities was a sign of his goodwill, which he gratefully accepted.

"I… woke up in a morgue. I don't know what happened to me."

Luke was talking privately with Kai at the corner of the bar. He was brought to the experiment when he was unconscious. During this, he only saw the doctors wearing a full surgical getup, not allowing him to see their faces.

The last thing he remembered was them giving up on him and cutting their losses. When he woke up, there was a tag on his toe, the same kind of tag that was put on a corpse inside of a morgue. There was also a chainsaw to cut open his body, but he leaves that from his story.

"I see. I am sorry to bother you then."

"I wasn't bothered in the slightest. But if I may, can you do me a bit of a favour?"

Kai nodded when he heard what Luke was asking for. It was a simple favour, to hide his identity and to take a picture of Kai with him. After taking the picture, he would glue the picture inside his bar, for commercial purposes.

'Ryan was looking into the cause of Luke's wanted status before he was declared dead. He was framed as the murderer of his wife and had to go into hiding.'

Luke was an ex-detective. He already tried to investigate his own case after he was declared dead. There wasn't anything that could help him clear out his name now, that is why he went into hiding and moved from Chicago to New York.

Moving to another part of the bar where Kai met up with Jesica and Ava.

Jessica had ordered some shots and was facing the bartender while Ava was drinking some juice as Luke was adamant about giving her alcohol. Not kicking her out was already a leniency on his part.

Jessica kept staring at Luke the entire time she was waiting for Kai. It wasn't love she felt, instead the feeling was of lust. The same kind of lust she felt for Kai when she saw him shirtless.

But after he had punished her multiple times, the lust was buried underneath a shallow surface and she became comfortable with Kai instead.

The girls were excited to meet the members of the Avenger. They had completed the mission early, and had missed Kai's company.

After greeting them, he asked about the mission details.

"We have located the guy after doing some scans around the area. We managed to pinpoint him after removing some places from the calculations," Jessica said proudly.

Kai had taught them in great detail about the investigation techniques. Although they were clumsy, they did manage to find something that he had ordered after a great deal of struggle.

"Jessica, negative one point," Kai replied after hearing the obvious lie.

He had arranged a type of system between the group under him. If you were able to collect few points, you can trade them for wishes. It can be anything, car, house, alcohol, and other materialistic things. He needed to put in some standard to ensure the girls didn't ask for something impossible.

"WHAT-! NO!!" Jessica tried to protest, but Kai ignored her. He let her calm down first, and when the table was silent, he asked again.

"The truth?" Kai gives the duo a chance to come clean.

"We…met with Murdock and helped him find the place. We met the target by chance," Ava replied in a low voice after seeing Kai's stern face.

Kai smiled at the answer, relieving the duo from their restlessness. Kai was a great teacher, but that didn't mean that they could act casually with him.

During official businesses, they needed to treat him with respect, as per the condition that they had agreed to when they asked him to teach them.

"Good. Ava, 4 points," Kai said as he ruffled Ava's hair. She pulled her head down as she was embarrassed to be treated as a kid.

Jessica was dissatisfied, but she didn't retort as Kai was merciless when someone questioned his decisions – mostly her, as she asked a lot of stupid questions.

In the point ranking, Ava had even surpassed Skye as she had experience in this kind of stuff before.

"Both of you go back to sleep at your house, not the base. I will call you if I need your help," Kai said and is preparing to go help the patients.

"Hey," Ava called out suddenly.

"Will you be back again…at your house?"

Kai thought for a while before answering her question. On one hand, he did want to get back to his previous lifestyle, but the situation wouldn't allow him to. Even if the religious group wasn't gathering anymore, his future enemies could find him at his house if he stayed at one place.

"I think… It's better for me to move. Someplace bigger maybe."

As he had an additional daughter, he felt the need to find a bigger place as the previous house only had two rooms.

"In New York Right?" Ava asked, wanting for him to stay there.

"Of course, where else can I even go?" Kai answered dismissively before he said his goodbye to the girls. Ava almost squeaked in happiness while Jessica was thinking of new ways to steal the best quality liquors from Kai's new home.

The girls stayed there for a while as they had ordered breakfast from Luke. They had already eaten it in the early morning but Jessica wanted to see the sight of Luke's muscular hand managing the food. Kai nodded to the other customer inside the bar who was obviously staring at him.

"Kunlun?" Kai greeted the man in a Chinese greeting gesture.

"Yeah, you're?" The shaggy white man, Danny Rand had sensed the energy from Kai the moment he stepped into the bar. He knows for sure that Kai isn't from Kunlun. There are a few sects around the world that he knows , and this is his first time meeting someone from outside of his sect.

"Avengers," Kai said teasingly before he walked outside the bar, leaving Danny Rand and Colleen bewildered at the table.

"Inject him with the serum," Raymond issued an order on his phone coldly.

In Hell's Kitchen, the mercenaries in full combat gear took out a silver briefcase that contained the RHINO serum.

Raymond knew that the serum wasn't ready yet, but he wanted Alexei to suffer. If the serum did work, then he will have additional data. It wasn't a loss for him to inject the RHINO serum as he can create another one easily. 129 experiments, and in all of them the 'lab rats' died a horrible death.

The unconscious Alexei was unaware that a serum was being injected into his neck.

"Ugh-" He groaned as he felt a painful sensation in his body. His eyes snapped open and he started to yell at the top of his lungs.

The mercenaries stepped back, readying their new energy weapon to burn the evidence and the test subject at any given moment. All of them were completely loyal to Raymond.

He had traded some enhancement serums to another hidden organization for the brainwashing machine, which he used to brainwash the mercenaries.

"Huaa- urk- ARGHHH!!" the tied up Alexei screamed horribly. Drool dripped down his mouth and tears were coming out of his eyes. His skin turned leathery grey, and his body increased in muscle mass.

"This is…a success?"

Raymond, who was watching the footage through a camera on the mercenary's body, was excited. Slowly, Alexei's face was turning into that of a rhinoceros. A 14 inches long horn grew from the place where his nose used to be. And a humanoid rhino appeared in the reconstruction building of Hell's Kitchen.

"ROAR!!" Alexei snapped the rope tied up on him with his incredible new strength, and huffed a heavy breath afterward. He scanned his surroundings, and saw the mercenaries aiming their guns at him.

"ROAR!!!!" He attacked the mercenary who was close to him, swinging his arm and smacking him toward the wall, killing him instantly.

"Tsk, He lost his mind," Raymond lost his interest in the animal and closed his video feed, not caring about the fate of the mercenaries.

Rhino kept charging toward the mercenaries. They shot him with their energy weapons, but the blast failed to penetrate the animal's thick hide.

Rhino was charging toward the mercenaries who were standing at the edge of the building. The mercenaries rolled on the ground to avoid the charge of the animal . The newly built wall was smashed into pieces from Rhino's charge, causing him to fall onto the streets of Hell's Kitchen.

BONUS CHAPTER : SIDE STORY 3 CONTINUATION.

Title: The King's Inhuman Method.

Previously on the story.

Luke Callaghan, a transmigrator with the ITS system takes over the kingdom after the previous King betrayed humanity.

The peaceful planet Gaia, turned into chaos when the demon started to invade through a space fissure that connected their planets together.

He led an army of 1000 allied forces to go against 100,000 demons and managed to win the battle with the use of the Hulk serum.

However, he has to live with the consequences of his decision for the rest of his life — his other raging personality needs to be kept in check, otherwise, he will lose himself.

"Daddy," A 2 years old boy ran toward Luke who was sitting on the Iron throne. He has blonde hair and purple iris — the same characteristic as his mother.

"Ryan, don't run. You will fall," Julia, the previous female knight, — now the Queen of the Yule Kingdom advised her son. Her scarred face is now healed, making her unparalleled beauty shine again on the planet Gaia.

The Hulk-King, Luke Callaghan picks up his son from the ground and kisses him all over.

"Did you already eat your food?"

"No, I waited so that I could eat with dad!"

Luke's heart starts to warm out as he finally has what he wanted. Even in his previous life – all he ever wanted was a family.

However, the demon army base that is surrounding every part of the kingdom couldn't let him live his life in peace. After his initial battle with the Hulk's troops – survivors from various parts of the world had congregated inside his kingdom.

His 1000 people in the army now had grown to 10,000. The measly population of the kingdom had increased ten fold, however it still didn't reach 150,000 people.

'If I can grow infinitely stronger as the true Hulk, maybe I will have a chance in the upcoming battle. However…'

Hulk 's source of power didn't exist here in the universe.

He tried to use mana of the world as a source, but the first thing that the demon had done when they breached Gaia using the fissures is to poison the mana, killing every magician on the planet – leaving them defenceless.

'Another problem is that…we're poor..'

The Kingdom had barely survived on scraps materials that were left unpolluted by the demons. If Luke didn't manage to find a sponsor on the system trading site, the Kingdom would have already fallen even if the Hulk squadron was here.

He tried to use the system to enhance his army, but the population will die out if he uses the money for that purpose. The land is not arable anymore because of the demon king's curse.

He did refer to several people on the system that he found, and uses the Hulk's blood to try and cure the land as it can fight the demonic poisoning.

He enhanced the crops' speed with a crops serum that is the system bestseller to make sure that his people won't die out. After bringing the industrial age into the kingdom, people's lives are now a bit better.

However the looming threat of the demon army is like being on an execution platform – the blade can fall and cut off their neck without any prior warning.

"My Lord, the demon…have started moving…" A messenger came in and interrupted the king's lunch with his family. Luke had bought several drones from the trading site and set up a scanning perimeter all over the kingdom.

Gaia is still fighting in the middle ages era before this, but with Luke here – 21st century warfare is already showing their fangs. Ammo, missiles and countless guns are bought by him, arming the entire army.

The demon won't even know what hit them. It is very cheap for him to get the guns there as he can already get the guns at level 0.

" I see…I guess it's time for the final battle…again. Are the king's guards ready?" Luke said calmly, hiding his agitation from his young son. He had failed the demon invasions with his Hulk's squadron as the defence line.

"My King…Th-the numbers..the numbers of the enemy are…"

A horrible tragedy had befallen upon their kingdom today, as a Demon Duke Arbinger was leading the army . The highest rank demon after the demon king is leading this assault, rallying an ocean of demons with him.

Luke headed to the command center after splitting ways with his family. Julia knows that the situation was way worse than what Luke is telling her, but she will keep playing along, for the sake of their son.

"Help take care of him…please," Julia asked the Royal Butler, Sir Isaac Hiddleston, to take care of her sleeping son.

Before becoming a queen, she was a Knight. Before Luke, she was the one who had helped the kingdom to survive.

Luke had never asked her to fight on the front line after she got pregnant. She understands his decisions, but she wanted to help him. Wearing a hood, she sneaked stealthily toward the army barracks.

"Gaia. Help us," Luke said as he saw the number of demons on the road to attack the Kingdom.

[ 100,000…..1,000,000…. 10,000,000]

The number of demons keeps rising up. The Demon Duke Arbinger had amassed the entire demon army for the last battle. They had already conquered the entire Gaia planet. Arbinger wanted to conquer the Kingdom Yule before the Demon King came through the fissures.

In the army barracks, the 10,000 allied Gaia army that consisted of the orc, elves and humans are standing in line, waiting for the King to arrive and give his order.

Julia peeked from underneath her hood as the King had arrived.

"Gaia's warriors. Today, we are…"

Before Luke could give his speech again, a random army member yelled out.

"We already know!"

"Wha-" Luke was stunned when he heard the shout. The army giggled like childrens going on a school field trip instead of being afraid that the army was coming.

"My King, we are already sick of the speeches," An Hulk-Elf commander said teasingly toward Luke.

"Hahaha," The army smiles and laughs after seeing the 21 year old King's flustered face.

"My King, we will follow you without doubt!"

"My King, We will win!"

"FOR LUKE! FOR RYAN!"

The army keeps spouting out words of encouragement among themselves. Luke was stunned, tears pooled at the corner of his eyes.

The people already knew who had helped them survive until now. The people already knew who was the first one to enter the battlefield,and the last one to exit. The people already know who is the one trying his hardest no matter what.

When the situation is bleak. When the situation had no more hope. Luke will come to them like a guiding ray of light. At the final battle, what they wanted was…to be Luke's guiding ray of light.

The army smiled and patiently looked at Luke. They already know that they will face an army of 10 million demons, but their loyalty toward Luke is still unshaken.

"What do you need us to do…My King?" The commander kneeled in front of Luke, waiting for him to answer.

He didn't plant a seed of loyalty, nor did he brainwash the army. However, these people here will die for him if he asks them too.

"What I need is…volunteers. You may lose your life, and your appearance. There will be no guarantee that you will survive this…I-"

Before Luke could finish, he saw that the entire army was holding their hands up. " I will volunteer!"

The army said at the same time, causing a sound shockwave across the kingdom.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk, did your King ran away?" The demon duke Arbinger said after arriving at the vicinity of the kingdom. Instead of the king, he was greeted by the Hulk squadron.

The Orc-Hulk, the She-Hulk, The Elf-Hulk, the Red-Hulk and many more Hulks are standing in line side by side. They had to hold the line until the King arrived.

"He will never run. Not from the likes of you. From his wife, maybe...." She-Hulk said teasingly.

"Then where is he?"

"None of your business," The Elf-Hulk said menacingly.

The fully armoured demon duke takes out his red-metallic sword. The sword used to be white, but it was basked in the blood of the resistance in a 1000 conquered world, until it turned red.

"I wonder if green blood will destroy the beautiful red colour?" The demon duke said eerily as he attacked the Hulks squad first.

The battle comes suddenly. 9900 Gaia allied forces are withstanding the siege of the 10 million demon, shocking the entirety of the world.

Machine guns are shooting the dragons trying to breach the airspace. Rpgs and missiles exploded the siege equipment of the demon army. The army in full combat gear are moving in formation inside the fox hole, shooting at the approaching demon with their rifles and throwing grenades to the enemy formation.

"What kind of battle technique is this?" A demon baron said, puzzled by the sight in front of them. The demon had never seen this kind of machinery that can shoot metal at extreme speed, killing the low-level demon easily.

While the demon baron was quizzical, an rpg flew toward his dragon steed, destroying its testicles. The demon baron fell down from the sky, and died as he got crushed by his dragon steed.

"Hold the line!!!" The human member yelled. They needed to hold the line until the King arrived.

Although the allied forces had done exceptionally well, the demon numbers were too great. After two hours, the defence lines were breached.

"You are good." The demon duke said. "But I am better." He kicked the head of the orc-hulk away from his feet, toward the other Hulks.

All the Hulks fighting together can only create a scratch on his armour. She-Hulk loses her arm, The Elf-Hulk loses his feet. They are healing , but it won't be quick enough to help them in the battle.

Suddenly, a loud roar was heard from inside the kingdom.

"Hehe, your time is up," She-Hulk said teasingly as they recognized the roar.

"All of you together couldn't defeat me. What makes you think that a lone Hulk-King can?" The demon duke said in a calm tone, mocking the futile struggle of the Gaia's inhabitants.

"Cause he is no longer just the Hulk-king." The Elf-Hulk said. The demon duke was intrigued, but the elf didn't continue. Inside the army barrack, the 100 humanoid stone sculptures are breaking out one by one, with it, a horrible monster was unleashed onto Gaia's land.

"Arghhhh!!" A loud and painful scream was heard from the demon side. The demon duke glanced at the source, and he almost widened his eyes seeing the horrendous creatures laying waste to his army.

A tall humanoid tree, A man with hoof instead of legs, a woman who can control her hair like a limb, a creature made of sand, and more unique monsters had appeared in the battle.

"This is?" The demon duke asked.

"This is the King's Inhuman squad," The Elf-Hulk said teasingly as he caught his breath. There were a total of 100 people that were selected to participate in the inhuman experience. All of them are willing, even though Luke had said multiple times that the process was irreversible.

Luke got the inhuman serum and the terrigen crystal from a quest he had done before. He was greatly shocked when he chatted with the quest giver and found out that he was also the one selling the hulk serum he had used.

"I see," The demon duke said curtly, not worrying in the least. He attacked the elf-hulk to cut off his head, but when he almost did it, he sensed a beast coming from on top of him.

The demon duke jumped backward to avoid the attack. The newcomer in battle had caused the ground to crack in a 100 meter radius.

"My King!" She-Hulk said excitedly as she saw the same king that had brought them countless victories in battle.

Luke stands tall facing the demon duke.

"So, you didn't upgrade yourself? That was boring." The demon duke said mockingly.

"Well, I did. Let me test it out on you," Luke said as he tried to sense his new power. His muscles tighten, and he lets out a punch from 100 meter away from the demon duke.

The demon duke chuckled to see the useless action from the Hulk-King. However, his eyes widened as he saw the air crack into pieces as Luke punched out.

An immense vibration wave hit his armor, making him fly behind and shattered the front end of his armor, revealing his beetle-like skin underneath. The vibration didn't only attack the demon duke, but the locust-like army around the Hulk's causing devastating casualties in the demon army.

"Ahh, I'm Whitebeard now," Luke said as he felt the might of his new power. More accurately, he got the Quake power.

"Fascinating." The demon duke is exhilarated. The infinite battles are boring for him as he never meets his equal.

"Now that you have shattered the armor sealing my power, let me enjoy the battle! Inhuman Hulk-King!

"...Okay?"

Luke and Arbinger fought intensely for hours, taking out more than a million demons from the impact of their battle.

Luke and Arbinger breathed heavily as they fought each other.

"This is…a chance!" A female succubus that is also a demon count saw the opportunity and sneaked to attack Luke!

"My King!" The elf-Hulk yelled from afar. He was battling a few demon barons at that time, and couldn't help the king.

A hooded woman who was killing the demon army like a machine harvester saw what was happening. She took a deep breath, and finally started speaking after she participated in the inhuman experience.

"GET OFF MY HUSBAND!!!!" Julia yelled, with it came a great shock wave that devastated the demon count. The massive shock wave swallowed almost 100,000 demons, turning them all into corpses.

"Julia?" Luke said as he turned to look at the source of the voice. Julia takes off her hood, smiling at Luke.

Finally, she can protect him. The price was, she may never be able to speak normally ever again.

"Don't get distracted in battle," Arbinger said as he swung his sword from Luke's left side.

"I am not distracted," Luke said coldly as he punched a focused earthquake energy toward the sword, causing it to break!

Julia got Luke's back, and he got her back. Together, they became a harvester of the demon souls, and finally push back the demon duke.

Julia screamed as loud as she could, and Luke focused his fist on the demon duke's face. The resonance from their attack caused the earth to flip and the demons are buried inside of it.

"You…are a monster," The demon duke said with half his helmet broken, revealing his bloodied up left side of his handsome face. He smiles as he is greatly satisfied with the battle. Even if he died here today, he won't have any regrets.

"However, if this is your level, when the demon king comes…and he will…you won't be able to stop him…" The demon duke said as he staggered to stand.

"Maybe… But when that moment arrives, who knows what will happen?" Luke said, smiling as he tightened his fist. He ran toward the demon duke and punched his face, causing the duke's head to come out of his body.

They had won today's battle at a great price. Among 100 inhuman, 70 of them perished in battle. Only 3 people survived the battle in the Hulk squad, making it the highest casualties yet for the Gaia's army under Luke.

A day passed after the battle. Luke and Julia are staying in the big bed with their son in the middle.

Julia had to teach herself sign language to allow her to speak normally with her family. And the first sentence she signed was : I love you.
