Chapter 8 : ALMOST A KISS?

SIMRAN'S POV

Everyone was busy having their samosas and tea /coffee , I ate my samosa too, which I usually enjoy with my cold coffee, it's one of my favourite snack, I love it so much, I was busy in drinking cold coffee when I suddenly heard Raj laughing so loudly, I looked at him in shocked, everyone looked at him in shock, Raj was looking at me laughing, I was confused, and asked him through my eyes , he kept laughing, then he showed my face or may be lips to all our friends, they looked at me and burst into a laughter, it made me so embarrassed, I was still confused, and looked at Raj , he pointed finger towards my lips, I immediately took my phone and saw it in front camera, cold coffee cream was all over my lip, which gave a Mustache shape to it , when I looked at him back he started laughing loudly which made me more angry, I took a tissue and started wiping it, I cleaned it properly, suddenly Raj came close to me and tried to wipe the cream from corner of my mouth, his sudden touch made me shiver and I froze, I didn't know what happened after that, his finger on my lip did wonders on me, I sat there like a statue, I saw him coming close to me, close, closer, he was very close to me that my heart almost forgot to beat, I could hear his heart beat, it made me weak, he was an inch away from my lip, or may be from a kiss, he kept coming closer, I lost myself my vision got blurred, I didn't know what happened after that, I saw him getting up and he ran away quickly within a second and I sat there like a statue

Anjali - Simran , Simran are you okay?

they kept calling my name I was Still lost

Seema shouted my name loudly which brought me back to my senses

Seema- Are you okay? why did he run away? what happened?

Vijay - strange, he never behaved like this before, we used to go home together , he ran away without even saying bye to us

Sameer - I know why he ran away , kyu Simran, I think you know it too

he Teasingly asked me about it, which means he saw hum kya kar rahe te, hum nahi Raj kya karne ki koshish kar rahe te

Sneha - Simran, he is asking you something, are you ok? what's wrong with you?

Simran - yeah I am ok, wo mujhe ghar jaana hai

I stood up immediately and took my purse and started leaving the place, my friends followed me , and we all got into an auto , I stayed quite during the journey

Seema - huwa kya hai, bolegi kuch?

Anjali - kuch huwa hai kya tum dono ke bich?

Sneha- I saw him getting close to her

Anjali, seema- what?

I immediately cut them off

Simran - kuch nahi huwa, he was trying to clean my lip that's it

I didn't even know what I just said, all three of them started blushing and remained quite in the remaining journey

I reached my home first so I got out from the auto and went to my home immediately without even looking at them

Seema - pata nahi kya ho gaya hai isko

SNEHA'S POV

I saw Raj going close to Simran, they were close very close, I think they were about to kiss, when I suddenly heard sameer 's voice, Raj stepped back in shock and immediately got up , everybody was busy in eating, talking, I and sameer noticed what was going on in the other side, Sameer teased Raj which made him more uncomfortable and he ran away, Simran was shivering, I saw her condition from far away, she was in state of shock, then she immediately got up and ran away, we followed her too , she didn't speak much, when I spoke about it, she gave an stupid explanation which embarrassed all three of us

Anjali : sneha what did you see?

sneha - I saw Raj in an almost kiss position with her

Anjali - are you out of you mind? she said in a very shocked expression

Seema - may be you are mistaken, may be he was trying to clean her face which had a cream on it

Sneha- oh common I am not blind, I know what I saw , I saw him close to her lip, he would have kissed her if sameer wouldn't have interrupted them, he saw it too

Anjali - what?

Sneha- the way he behaved,he never behaved like this before, I know him from my childhood, he is my best friend , I am damn sure what he did was unintentional

I started defending Raj as usual, because I know him, he was never into this, specially after his bad love phase, he never got close to any girl, there are so many girls in our college who have hots on him but he always stayed away from them, I was shocked to see him like this, it also made me excited that may be he will find his love again in Simran, I kept my excitement aside because I am not exactly sure about them, may be I am mistaken

RAJ'S POV

I went to room , my head was bursting with pain, the visuals of that almost a kiss were making me crazy, I immediately removed my shirt and threw it on the ground, and started doing pushups to calm myself down , I heard someone knocking at the door

Raj theek tho haina? kuch khaane ko laa doon..

it's bhabhi

Raj - mai theek hoon bhabhi, pls chai laa dijiye

Bhabhi - theek hai abhi laati hoon

my head was aching so badly so I asked bhabhi to get me some tea

Her thoughts were not leaving me alone for a second , I sat down by holding my head

what did I do? how did I lose my control over her ? how did I break my promise jise mai aaj pehli baar mila, she made me crazy in just 6 hours, what's so special about her ? why she is making me lose myself, how will i face her tomorrow, what's all this, an attraction? an infatuation? a desire? she made me smile, I laughed my heart out for the first time in last 2 years, she is gorgeous, she is hot but that doesn't mean I would behave like this with her, she was already harassed by vickey and I just made her feel worse, I didn't even apologize to her, I felt bad and I kept cursing myself

Raj chai le lo said bhabhi

I went and opened the door,bhabhi came with tea and some biscuits

Bhabhi - kya huwa hai Raj? are you okay?

Raj - kuch nahi huwa hai bhabhi, wo sarr dard kar raha hai bas

Bhabhi - theek hai ye lo chai peene aur thodi der rest karlena, agar kuch chahiye tho bol dena

Raj - bhabhi agar sarr dard ki dawaayi hogi tho pls hariprakash ke haath se bhijwa dena

Bhabhi - abhi bhijwa deti hoon

I drank the tea and ate some biscuits, and went to have some hot shower this might help me to erase her thoughts , hot water showers were making me think about her more, I closed my eyes for a second, every drop of water was making me visualize myself going closer and closer to her , I had a bath and came out of bath room immediately before I start fantasizing about her in a mature way
