Prologue

Willows orphanage

William was a special child, and he knew it. Everyone else kept saying it and why not he was diligent, polite, and so very charming even at this age. Every one loved the cute yet smart 6 year old.

Sitting on the chair in his small room, William concentrated on the stone placed on the table trying to lift it up rather comically.

At last after some struggle it started to float unsteadily in the air.

William was ecstatic about the progress he made in the week after discovering magic. He had stumbled upon a garden snake in the backyard and in fear wanted for it to go away. He did expect the snake to furiously hit the wall.

Since then he started experimenting with this new discovery. It had very fruitful results.

A month has passed since then and william has made a few new discoveries. That beside telekinesis his abilities were quite diverse.

He could even create fire but, being a kid he is things got out of hand and he almost set the whole building on fire.

Even though he was young he knew that anything of this magnitude could label him as the devil incarnate so he tried to stay away from anything too drastic.

Beside elemental control he also discovered he could partially fix certain objects such as toys or broken vases but nothing to complex right now.

But the biggest discovery was that magic was sentient it felt like it was his dear friend or maybe his guardian angel? Anyway, it was as if anything was possible only his imagination was the limit.

It was after fixing a broken toy he found lying around that was fixed as he wished it so that he discovered this fact.

The orphanage staff were worried at first becouse of him bieng holed up in his room all the time but watching his cheerful behavior they let it slide.
