Finally the time inside the Rosier castle was over for William and it was time for his entrance to Hogwarts, a month of waiting was not short but compared to the fanatics who never had the chance then this was nothing. There wasn't much to say, he said goodbye to Vorona and asked her to look after his room while he was gone, he arranged the trunks and suitcases ready to leave when he noticed his grandfather waiting for him.
"It's time for you to take the express to Hogwarts, hold on to my arm and remember to keep all your limbs close, this time I can't regenerate you in the middle of all the people."
Again they used apparition, William wasn't very comfortable using that method of travel but having experienced it the first time now it didn't seem to be as uncomfortable as before, of course that didn't mean it was comfortable.
"Here we are" Lord Rosier's muffled voice was nothing out of the ordinary instead the train in front of William was what was special. There were many people in the station which made the elder Rosier uncomfortable but William had no intention of worrying about the old man and just walked to the front with his belongings on the carriage.
"Platform nine and three quarters" muttered William surprised and excited, his brain was full of illusions about his school life and all the spells he would learn, right now he was the most similar to a kid with a new video game, impatient to get in but before he could he was pulled from the collar of his robes with Lord Rosier's cane.
"Wait" said the old man stopping William "I still have many things to say that I did not tell you before at the manor as they were not important due to your condition, but you must know them before you get on the express."
"Hogwarts has four houses that you should already know, our family has always been a resident of Slytherin house that includes your cousin Felix Rosier, you will get into Slytherin as expected but in case it is another house there won't be much of a problem you are a Rosier after all, I'm just warning you to stay out of trouble as you know we are not popular among wizards" lord Rosier put his old hands on William's shoulders and stared at him "And never make friends with the dirtybloods, don't let our family's value decline because of you".
William was not an idiot, he understood very well the pureblood families and knew about their absurd rules, he did not expect to break them after all it was fate that he was in Slytherin, there were no dirty bloods there, now he just had to avoid being in trouble, that was not a problem either, he just had to be away from Harry Potter and his friends.
William moved away from his grandfather, he didn't want to be near the old man and his traditionalist customs, he didn't really care about the customs, now that he was in a world full of magic the only thing he cared about was the magic itself.
Once inside the express it was easy to settle into an empty compartment, he had arrived earlier than usual so there weren't many students inside the train yet.
Knowing that he would not be near the problems he took out a book to read, he had not practiced enough due to his problem with magic but he knew that he had to concentrate his efforts in Severus Snape's Potions class, being a Slytherin he would have some protection but William wanted the sympathy of this professor and the way to win it would be to be number one in his class being one of his group of students.
Even if Hermione Granger was ready she didn't have a chance to win Snape's sympathy just because she was from Gryffindor house.
"I'd love to have a pair of headphones" William muttered remembering his former life and his habit of studying while listening to music, that memory of his past life was now very distant but somehow it was also precious, unfortunately headphones had not yet been invented and Hogwarts was not allowed to have Muggle technological products.
The door out of nowhere opened revealing the figure of that young man William had seen in Ollivanders wand store, the legendary Harry Potter.
"H-hello" greeted Harry nervously but he managed to recognize the young man leaning lengthwise on the seat, he himself knew he was the wand store watcher "can I sit here?" asked the boy and William didn't pay much attention to him he simply took his hand out of the book
"The seats are not my property, use it as you like" said William with a bored tone without taking his attention off the book, as an experienced student he knew how to achieve proper concentration.
Harry was silent for quite a while, he didn't say anything hoping not to disturb William, he himself managed to feel slightly bad seeing William's casual clothes, much more elegant than usual, even his uncle Vernon and his cousin Dudley Dursley didn't have the chance to wear clothes this elegant.
Soon the express was underway, the whistle blew and the station was left behind. William was still immersed in his book, he knew there was someone in the compartment but hadn't realized the identity of the other person, he hoped it was just an extra since he chose the opposite side than the one in the movie.
The door finally opened again and now there was another of the original protagonists of the saga, this time another member of the hallowed twenty-eight, sixth son of the Weasley couple, Ronald Weasley.
"Um... Do you mind?" asked the red-haired man uncomfortably "All the other compartments are full."
Harry looked towards William but William simply didn't seem to mind so Ron calmly walked in and sat down next to Harry "I'm Ron, Ron Weasley, nice to meet you" he extended his hand towards Harry who responded with a smile at the red head.
"I'm Harry Potter" he returned the handshake surprising both the red head and William who was in his book and simply sat back in the seat cursing his luck in his mind.
"By Merlin's beard, it's you" Ron mentioned in surprise "are you really that Harry Potter, the one with that..?"
"That?"
"You know..." Ron pointed to his own forehead "the mark."
Harry replied lifting his hair to show the mark made during his time as a baby, William also saw the scar but instead could only yawn due to sleep.
"what's your name?" asked Harry looking at William, Ron finally turned his attention to the person in front of him and could only make a terrified expression, Will's appearance was basically the same appearance as his father.
"William Rosier, a pleasure" the boy introduced himself with a slight smile full of boredom, he didn't want to add any flattering comments towards Harry as this himself wasn't one hundred percent special and doing so only generates annoyance in Ron, what he needed the least right now was trouble.
"You're that Rosier, aren't you?" asked Ron.
"That one?" he returned the question looking at the sixth Weasley.
"you know, the heir to the family, the one who is said to have no magic, my dad told me about it" Ron mentioned.
William couldn't help but laugh silently, having a squib as an heir was simply a slap in the face for such an arrogant family as the Rosier's are, William could imagine the embarrassment his grandfather felt but he must have also been happy when he found out about the awakening of magic inside William, now it made sense why he let him get the book he wanted.
"Yes, I am that Rosier and as you can see I have magic, just in the time it was needed" William opened the book in his hands "now as you can see I have to study to catch up on the course, I don't want to be the laughing stock of everyone for not knowing anything, being somewhat famous but of course not as famous as Mr. Potter"
Harry stared at Will and seemed to realize his mistake, he didn't know anything about magic either and he was just there wasting time, of course he didn't have much to do since his books were in the cargo compartment.
"You don't have to worry Harry, we're first years, classes start by teaching the basics, it's not like we have an entrance exam" Ron said happily as he patted his new friend on the shoulder, Will could only sigh in response, apparently Harry Potter wouldn't be spared humiliation from Snape.
