Tired

Hailey and Hannah left the supermarket. They entered the car and drove off. It was already 3:45pm. They got home by 4:10pm.

"We're home Hannah, let's go in!" Hailey said to her. The excited little girl got down from the car with the toys in her hands. She wasn't able to get hold of everything in one piece so Hailey assisted her. They got into the house and Hannah got busy with her new toys. Hailey left her and went up the stairs to keep some stuffs in the bedroom. She spent about fifteen minutes in the bedroom putting things in order.

By the time she got back to the living room, she met a tired sleeping Hannah. She had slept off due to tiredness. The little girl really had a busy day and was very tired.

"She must be very tired!" She thought. She knew Hannah wouldn't sleep at such an hour except she had played all her energy out. Hailey carried her up the stairs. She placed her on the bed to sleep. She stood by the wall for a while watching the little girl sleep. After some minutes, she left the room.

She went to the balcony and sat down on a chair beside the table with a vase on it. She could see the hustles and bustles of the city from where she sat. Their city was quite a busy one.

She relaxed herself with her eyes closed enjoying the gentle breeze that kissed her skin gently. Hailey didn't know how many minutes she had spent there but by the time she opened her eyes, she met Jeremy in front of her. She was startled.

"You startled me!" she exclaimed.

"What are you doing here??" he asked.

"I just sat here enjoying the breeze. It's really cool you know." She replied. Jeremy didn't say anything, he just looked around.

"Where's Hannah?" she asked.

"I met her playing downstairs with some toys in the living room." he answered.

"Oh! She was sleeping when I left her. Wait! How many minutes have I been here?" she asked again.

"I wouldn't know!" he replied. She picked up her phone and looked at the time. It was ten minutes past six.

"Damn! I've been here for more than an hour!" She exclaimed and he laughed as he looked at the puzzled Hailey.

"It's not funny!!"

"Let's go in, Hannah may probably be looking for you by now." He said to her ignoring her statement. She got up and followed him. They met Hannah still playing with her toys.

"Oh you guys are finally here." she said.

"What have you been up to?" Hailey asked as she sat down next to her.

"Nothing really. I'm just playing with my new toys." she replied.

Jeremy sat down on the sofa stretching out his leg on it. He crossed his right leg over his left and got busy with his phone. Hailey and Hannah went upstairs to the bedroom to have a shower.
