Three Headed Lizard

Two eyes were set dead to hear Celsius' explanation. He needs to clear himself. He took out one purple cube from his storage crystal.

Celsius: *sigh* "For a start this is the only prototype I made."

Nympha: "Okay, what else?"

Celsius: "This purple cube, as you guys called it, is like a void gate."

Ray: "Void gate?"

Celsius: "Yes. It functions like a dimensional portal. The ones that we see in the center of the underground city. So when we use this, we can be transferred from one place to another. It's---"

Nympha immediately raised her hand.

Nympha: "We get it. No need to explain all the specific details."

Celsius: *sigh* "This void gate will serve as a save point for us, that's all."

Ray: "Oh, save point. Good."

Nympha: "Is that all of it?" She still has some doubts.

Celsius: "Hmm. Yes?"

Nympha: "Celsius. Tell us everything before I run out of patience." She gritted her teeth.

Celsius gestured his hand and a virtual map appeared.

Nympha saw a red marking laid in the virtual map.

Nympha: (You punk!) "Mind explaining those strange red markings, mister?"

Celsius: "Based from my research, those are the places where Inoki sightings can be found. But the chances are not a hundred percent. It is based on speculations." He admitted.

Nympha: "You should have said it earlier."

The Virtual map portrays all the location above the plains. The Ghost Dessert of Sahara, the Rocky Mountains of Vermel and the Swampy Lands of Mocust. There are five red markings, one in the Ghost Dessert, two markings each on the Rocky Mountains and the Swampy lands.

Ray: "You mean…you knew it all along?"

Celsius: "My apology. It's just---I mean it's my first time to travel above the plains. I want to use this opportunity to learn a lot from here."

Nympha: "Okay, I understand. But we already waste so much time."

Ray: "It's okay, sis. We still can make it."

Celsius: "Yes, there's plenty of time. Once we reach every destination, I will put these void gates on the ground so we can shift from places to places."

Nympha: "We need to hurry since the Full Moon is our key to spot them, right?"

Celsius: "We have seven days 'til Full Moon. But we can do it for just five days."

Ray: "Five days?"

Celsius: (Now for my greatest plan.) "Yes, allow me to explain."

Nympha: "Hey, you still have something under your sleeves."

Celsius: "Eh? No, this is different."

Ray: "So, how will we do this in just five days?"

Celsius: "Well it's simple…"

Celsius started to discuss his plan to the party. After sometime…

Ray: "So basically we will do the hunting, right?"

Celsius: "Exactly."

Nympha: "And what will you do?"

Celsius: "I'm a nomad. I will become a burden to you guys."

Nympha: "Well, thanks for admitting that."

Ray: "So?"

Celsius: "I will stay here, near the entrance. We can communicate with the use of the telepathic gum and if anything happens, just use the void gates to come back."

Nympha: (You really put so much thoughts in this.)

Celsius just nodded.

Nymph: "Guess we don't have a choice. Just don't do anything stupid when we're away."

Celsius: "I won't."

Ray: "This will be quicker than I thought."

Nympha: "Ray, no need to rush. Remember we need to stay vigilant. We don't know what we might encounter." She reminded.

Ray: "Don't worry. If we encounter some viles or other dangerous creatures out there, I won't engage into fight. I will just run away."

Nympha: "I didn't say not to fight. If you cannot avoid it, just do your best to stay alive. I'm there to back you up."

Ray: "Okay, noted."

Celsius took out four pieces of void gates and shook these. The cubes started glowing and were suspended in the air.

Nympha: "I'm beginning to think, you're still hiding something."

Celsius: *sigh* "Just---just come here."

Both Ray and Nympha took a step closer. Celsius motioned each two pieces of the void gate cubes above the sides of their head.

Nympha: "I feel like they will explode or something"

Ray: "Yeah it feels weird. It's following my movements."

Celsius: "Could you two stop complaining! Those will help you to locate each other location and transferred you back here at the entrance."

Ray: "Okay. Nothing to worry then."

Nympha: "Now all the problem is solve. Let's now decide."

Ray: "I'll take the Ghost Dessert of Sahara since it's nearer."

Nympha: "Okay, I'll take the farthest area of the Swampy Lands of Mocust. We'll decide who will explore the Rocky Mountains of Vermel after this."

Ray: "Okay."

Celsius: "Here." He handed several void gate cubes. "Put them where the markings are."

"Okay" Both of them responded.

As soon the preparations were done, both Ray and Nympha took different paths leaving Celsius behind.

Ray was careful to avoid all the dangerous habitants in the area. He made sure not to create any noise in his surroundings.

Ray: (Well, I guess I'm doing great. At least for now.)

He was confident that his presence won't attract the habitants in the area. He was oblivious that his trails were being tract.

Ray felt a sudden gusts of wind from a distance. He immediately turned his back and saw a pack of habitants silently watching him. Their eyes are directed towards his every move.

Ray: "!!!" (What the?! I didn't notice them.) *deep breath* (I need to out run these creatures!)

He swiftly dashed out from the dangerous habitants. He climbed as fast as he can into a branch of a huge tree and covered his body by its lush leaves. He scanned the area above.

Ray: *pant* *pant* (Phew!…Good thing no vile showed up.) He sat down on the branch and rest for a while. (Maybe I also need to lower my energy presence a bit.)

After some time, he managed to continue with his conquest peacefully and reached his destination.

=Ghost Dessert of Sahara=

The vast dessert plains of Sahara unfold into his eyes.

Ray: "The land here is soft. I can't properly maintain my footing.

He covered his eyes and mouth with veil to protect them from the harsh heat and wind.

Ray: "I better report now." (Celsius, Sis Nympha. I've reached the Ghost Dessert.)

Nympha: (Great job, Ray. Well, I'm still a little bit far from my location)

Ray: (Good luck, sis.)

Nympha: (Sure.)

Celsius took longer to respond.

Ray: (Celsius, you there?)

Celsius: (Ah, yes. So you arrived. You're quick on your feet.)

Ray: (Uh-huh. Anyways, I'm about to---)

Ray's connection suddenly were cut out.

Celsius: (Ray?…Ray?!!!)

Nympha: (What happened?!)

Celsius: *sigh* (I just hope it's not what we think it is.)

Ray: "AAHHHH!!!"

In the middle of the conversation, Ray was caught up by a massive sand storm. He was taken up with the winds and was brought to a very deep underground old ruin.

Ray: *cough* *cough* *cough*

He wiped his mouth and dust off the sands from his clothes. He started calling out for his companions.

Ray: (Guys? Hello?)

He didn't receive any response.

Ray: "I wonder why it isn't working. Maybe the signal is quite poor here."

He surveyed the place. It's a crumbled civilization. Old concrete walls with written symbols on it. Fallen large debris buried with sands filled up the surroundings.

Ray: *sigh* "I mess up big this time."

Ray took out his lamp crystal to brighten the place.

Ray: "This looks much better."

He turned his back and saw a big oval-shaped object in front of him. Suddenly the object moved! It was actually the eye of a vile living underneath the place. It looks like a giant lizard. It's size is three times bigger than the giant chickadee they encountered. The creature has a three large head, a sharp claws and a long elastic tail. It is covered with dark miasma oozing out from its body.

*BUEKKK!!!*

Ray: "Oh no…Tch! Talk about bad luck!"

Before he was about to use the void gate cubes, the vile struck Ray with its tail. He flew several meters away and was buried in the sands.

Ray: *cough* *cough* *cough* "Not again…" (It sure is quick for it's massive size.) He looked above his head. "!!!" (The two cubes were gone!) "Tch! Where did it go?"

Ray looked from left to right, trying to spot where the cubes might have gone. But it was hopeless. The vile is observing his movement and is staring at him. Another strike from its tail was launched at Ray.

Ray: "Not going to fall twice on that." He quickly dodged the attack and landed on a fallen large debris.

The tail strike landed on some of the fallen debris and instantly melted.

Ray: "!!!" (That tail is embedded with acid!) He stood up and faced the vile creature. He unsheathed his stone sword from its scabbard.

A flash of energy suddenly unleashed from Ray's body. His sword grew the same size of the creature.

Ray: "DIVIDE!"

Four large stone swords were about to strike the body of the vile creature when suddenly…

*CLANG!* CLANG!* *CLANG!* *CLANG!*

The stone swords were deflected by a four large tails. The place shook tremendously and large pile of sands fall harshly in the place. Above him, appeared large claws. Four creatures with the same features rose up on the sands cornering Ray.

*BUEEEKKK!* *BUEEEKKK!* *BUEEEKKK!*

A loud terrible roars echoed.

Ray: "Eh?!!! You got to be kidding me?! Five versus one?!!"
