Power
"Player 1 please enter the door below" announced the announced ok on the screen. a tall black-haired man walked into the door after several minutes he came back through and two robots came and escorted him to another room. This repeats with Hanna being 3rd and Owen being 4th. After the next player, I walk up to the door.
"ok so this room is different for everyone I wonder what ill get I'm super excited about this" when I enter the room at first it was just pure white slowly it shifts from white to a landscape of burning buildings surrounding 7 thrones each in their own unique style. All of the ruble and fire formed in a way making a path to the thrones. I slowly walk down the path wondering why I was given this landscape. Once I reach the end of the path I'm greeted with a message, "Chose a throne to sit upon"
" is it really that simple there has to be some gimmick to this, I guess ill just sit on what looks coolest and see what happens" the 7 different thrones all had their own appeal to them, the closest one on the left was red with black lines running through the back and arms that were lit on fire, the next was purple and clearly much bigger than the rest, the third was dark green with thorns and vines covering it, next throne was bright orange and the back was decorated to look like the sun shining brightly after that was a dull brown colored throne that looked heavily cushioned and the most comfortable of them all, the next was pink and covered in hearts, finally the last one is gold decorated with green lines and jewels of various colors shapes and sizes.
"in my opinion that red one looks badass imma sit on that one" stepping up to the throne I sit down. Once I do a video appears in front of me, it showed me in a fight that I had with another kid in my school when he stole something important to me and wouldn't give it back. after watching it I get off the throne and in bright red colors the word wrath appears above it. i then sit on each throne, all of them shoved a video of me ti didn't take long for me to link each of these thrones with a sin. in order the seats went Wrath, Gluttony, Envy, Pride, Sloth, Lust, and Greed.
Out of all of the thrones, the video that stuck with me the most was greed. I expected a video of me shoplifting or stealing money from my mom's purse instead, I was shone me sitting atop a building and jumping afterward words appeared to say my biggest sin was selfishly attempting to take my own life. I didn't get out of the throne instead I sat there contemplating.
" well it seems I have a new host, you had quite the boring life kid you were exploited by your peers, and you lost your family just to try to commit suicide, that's over though now you have an opportunity, a chance to be what you weren't in you pass world, you sat upon the throne of greed. The powers you will be giving will be beneficial to both of us, you will be able to take both powers and techniques from your enemy all it will take is touch or for a technique a glance. for every power and technique you take I will grow in power and so will you. You cant take a skill that's higher level than the steal ability but over time it will grow, now go forth my vessel and be as greedy as possible.
