Man With A Mission

I died...

I've heard alot of stories about near death experiences and for alot of people their life flashed before their eyes but for me it was just... darkness.

My life was over that fast.

You might ask if everything went dark immediately how do you know you died.

Well that's easy, God told me so or at least someone who appears to to be god told me so.

The being in front of me is androgynous in appearance so I can't distinguish a gender but in this day and age I guess distinguishing gender isn't that important.

"Are you done with you little self monologue" God said.

"er... yeah... sorry, it's just a lot to take in"

"Indeed it is only human to be shocked in such a situation but we can't stay like this forever so let's get down to business shall we".

As god said that with a wave of the had a table and chairs materialized with two cups of tea to which I was gestured to take a seat.

"I have a mission for you. Now before you ask you were chosen at random out every that died the same time you did so you can count yourself lucky".

As god said that the atmosphere suddenly got more tense as he/looked at me and said.

"You dont realise this but human imagination is a powerful thing, if enough people believe in something that thing can become real this includes fictional worlds from stories, movie's, TV and so on. The problem is once these worlds become real they dont necessarily follow their intended stories. This is where you come in."

I looked at God in complete shock at what I was hearing and said "So anime and manga worlds are real and what does that have to with me?"

"The world of Seven Deadly Sins is in grave danger along with the rest of the multiverse! As I said there are some worlds that don't follow their stories and the Demon Lord in this world is one character whose future is changing. As it stands the demon lord will absord his powers back along with with the powers of his to sons and evolve into a Demon God. With his new found powers he will destroy his world and move on to the multiverse and I want you to kill him".

"What the heck how do you expect me to do that!"

"Calm down my child, I wont be sending you empty handed I will allow you three wishes and you can choose a character to transmigrate as and as and added insensitive you will be rewarded with multiverse travel after completing the mission"

Thank fuck for that I thought to my self but it doesn't make it any better really I'll be going up against the Demon Lord a being that only barely lost against The Seven Deadly Sins so I have to think carefully.

"Ok I choose to transmigrate as ban just before the demon attacks the fairy forest please.

In Seven Deadly Sins it seemed like every one had a personal magic and my belief is go big or go home especially if you are given a mission to kill the Demon Lord so for my first wish I want Arc of Embodiment magic".

God smiled and said "Those request are perfectly fine so what about your last two wishes"

"Well Arc of Embodiment is already overpowered but why stop there. For my next two wishes I want an Appraisal skill and the Cut&Paste skill"

God looked at me with intrigue.

"Would you tell me why you chose those abilities"

I just smiled and said "I'm thinking of the future, I mean there are plenty of magics I can steal with those skills in Seven Deadly sins but there are a number of worlds with heaven defying innate abilities or items attached to their souls and with this ability I can steal them and with Arc of Embodiment i can create any weapons or consumables so i will be able to have anything i could every want".

"Ha Ha ha, those are some good choices. Now prepare yourself I'm sending you now"

I just looked down at myself and clenched my fists with a huge grin on my face trying to hold back my excitement as my eyes felt heavy and I fell into darkness once again...
