Northwest Drinks Meeting

Within the main office building of the Northwest Drinks.

A group of people that mainly consisted of men wearing black business suits and a white tie sat around a conference table.

A few of them were talking amongst themselves while waiting for the meeting to start, while others were simply looking through their phones for interesting news.

The door to the room suddenly opened, and a tall well-built man appeared in front of everyone's sights.

His features were sharp and prominent, his every step radiating of unordinary dignity. Sweeping a glance towards the people present, everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and fell silent.

This man, was the CEO, and owner, of the entire Northwest Drinks. Li Hao Tian. He had set up this company a few years back, and got to its current multi-million dollar state through his astuteness and remarkable foresight.

However, most remembered him for his craftiness and cruelty. He was known to use dishonorable tactics to talk business, and force smaller business to provide them a better deal using their company as a threat.

Many people disliked him, but since the Northwest Drinks was rather influential and possessed quite a bit of authority, no one spoke of this aloud in front of him.

Li Hao Tian took a casual seat on his chair, and with an expressionless face, he started to speak, "I called you all here today is to discuss on the matter of the Hui Yuan Drink Store. Firstly, I would like to commend Manager Yun for managing to successful snatch the selling rights. Our profits has increased by at least 30% just merely in the first week."

Manager Yun face was all smiles when he heard of this compliment, and he lifted his head up in pride while raising his eyebrows at the rest of the people present as if trying to declare his superiority.

"Next, I would like to talk about the issue of the new drinks that the Hui Yuan Drink Store is going to launch. We all know that the Great Milk Tea was quite a success for them, but one drink alone is not enough to change their entire circumstances."

Everyone within the room nodded their heads to this.

However, I have recently received news that they will going to be introducing another one of their drinks, which goes by the name of "Sweet Strawberry Speciality". What are all of your thoughts in regard to this matter?" Li Hao Tian placed both his hands on the table after he had finished speaking, and eyed the people present.

The room went silent, with most people doing boring things that they now find interesting.

Picking your nails, looking out at the non-existent good weather, glancing at the specks of dirt on the hand, or wondering what material the table was made of.

Li Hao Tian naturally caught their actions and lack of response, and his anger bubbled forth, "What's the point of having you here, if all you are here for, is to look away and keep your mouth shut?"

His voice was loud and imposing, causing the people present to slightly tremble in fear. Li Hao Tian's temper was also known to be explosive. He had the calm side to him, but when his anger bursts out, a reign of terror will follow after.

"CEO, I feel that the Hui Yuan Drink Store is merely doing a last-ditch attempt, and using the popularity of the previous drink, the Great Milk Tea, to drive up the attention on this "Sweet Strawberry Speciality."

"However, they are driving themselves to their own deaths, because this plan can backfire on them when this drink does not meet their expectations. The Hui Yuan Drink Store has already created so many high quality drinks, and I do not believe that they would be able to persist on with this trend."

A man with wide shoulders began to speak and analyse.

The room went silent in contemplation of his words, and the bulk of them were agreeing with his words.

After all, they were in the drink industry business, and they knew of how hard drink recipes were to create, especially good original ones.

"I agree with Manager Qin's words. The Hui Yuan Drink Store is nothing but a small drink store, and it was only lucky enough to be able to come up with such recipes. Without the help of a research team, I do not believe that they will be able to produce more of such drink recipes." Another man commented.

"But in the off case that the 'Sweet Strawberry Specialty" is truly up to standard…" The brawny man who came along with Manager Yun to discuss the selling rights deal with the Hui Yuan Drink Store began to speak.

"No. That would not happen. Such a probability is too low for us to consider, and also a waste of time for us to think about." Manager Qin quickly interrupted his words while throwing a provocative glare at the brawny man.

They both worked in the same company, but they had a rivalry against each other.

"That's enough. Thank you for sharing your thought on this matter, and let's get on with the next agenda in our meeting…" Li Hao Tian's eyes flashed with an indescribable glint as he said this.

Within a café.

Si Chen was silently sipping the cup of cappuccino he had ordered, while patiently waiting for the owner of the OnShop to arrive.

The bell at the door rang a while later, and the door opened to reveal a spectacled man in his thirties. He looked around the café for a moment, before his eyes landed on Si Chen.

He was momentarily startled, before he made his way towards Si Chen

"Hi, I am Chen Yang, the owner of the OnShop website. Are you the person who had contacted me on email?" Chen Yang politely asked with an uncertain tone.

"Yes, I am. I am Si Chen." Si Chen stretched out his hand as he introduced himself.

Chen Yang shook hands with him, and then sat himself down, "I had not expected you to be so young."

He began to speak in a surprised tone, but there were not hints of belittlement within his tone. In the world, there was always a type of special and unique individuals who can achieve so much at such a young age.

Si Chen lightly chuckled in response, and then they started up their conversation with web design and creation of websites.

The more Chen Yang talked with Si Chen, the more shocked he had become. He had not expected for Si Chen to possess such deep knowledge about website development and design at his young age.

In the beginning, he only thought that Si Chen only touched the bare surface of this topic, but who knew that he was actually so versed in it?

They talked for quite a while, and Chen Yang was so engrossed into the conversation that he had even forget to order a drink, until he talked till his mouth went parched, and he went up to order a cup of coffee.

When Chen Yang went back to his seat, Si Chen then began to break through to barrier of the main reason why he had wanted to meet him for.

"Chen Yang, I feel that the OnShop website has quite a bit of potential in the future market, and I would like to invest my assets into it." Si Chen sat straight up, and stated his intentions.
