Chapter 16: Chaotic Creatures

With accelerating time, the numbers of cells that were being born were increasing as time passed.

The humaniod creatures' sizes were steadily and stably increasing. For now, I will officially call them chaotic creatures.

I didn't erase memories of the first ever born creature, which caused the chaotic creatures to repeat what they did before I pulled its soul out.

They poked out some of their body parts outside the safe zone, which caused them to disintegrate.

Before moving around the safe zone to gather cells for their healing, the chaotic creatures repeated the cycle: injure, heal, injure, heal.

Each time the chaotic creatures are injured and healed, the duration before the part of their body completely disintegrates will increase.

It was all caused by the adaptation of the cells to the harsh environment outside the safe zone.

For now, I probably should leave this plane of line alone for the time being, since this process of adaptation will take some time.

So instead of wasting time by observing it, I should add rules to the plane of reincarnation.

Heaven and hell also needed rules to be added, but for the time being, it wasn't that important.

After all, its only job was to collect dissipated souls and bestow rewards and punishment in the form of illusion.

Assess their sins as well as the benefits they bring to the domain. All the planes I created before had already been assigned functions.

But some planes couldn't operate if there were no rules added, just like the plane of life, the underworld, and the plane of reincarnation.

Some planes don't need rules to work, just like the two bridges, heaven and hell. But that was only at the start.

If I were talking about the long term, it also needs rules. Otherwise, the plane will be incomplete and cause problems due to the lack of rules.

However, for now, that wasn't very important since in the short term I only needed its basic functions, which can be done without adding rules.

But if I want the complex functions to work, I need to add rules, but those things weren't needed until I completed the life, death, and reincarnation cycles of my domain.

Those things will only add unnecessary work that will delay the important things that need to be done.

Those might be unnecessary for now, but later when they are needed I will add them.

At that moment, I manifested the scroll of rules into my hand before I started writing rules for the plane of reincarnation.

With each wave of the quill and ink on my hand, golden words appear.

Souls that have disipated will regather and enter into the six paths of reincarnation.

Unwilling souls are forced to enter the bridge of reincarnation that leads towards the new life that awaits them.

All their memories will be erased and will be stored within the dark star.

In their new life, they have nothing, other than their bodies and memories that were selectively given.

All of them will start from scratch, in the same place where they started in their previous lives.

Life has an end. Death has an end. Reincarnation has an end. However, with the three of them combined, their cycle has no end.

With the last wave of the quill and ink on my hand, the last word was written to its end.

After adding rules to the plane of reincarnation, I took a look at the plane of life.

Within my sight, I saw chaotic creatures freely moving outside the safe zone, which surprised me.

Did they already adapt to the harsh environment? I was full of doubts. The time duration of me leaving the plane of life alone.

It didn't even take me a half hour (domain time) to add the rules.

That would imply that they had adapted to the harsh environment in less than a half hour, but that was impossible.

In the next moment, my doubts were answered.

The wandering chaotic creatures suddenly died one by one, which made their souls enter the underworld through the bridge.

I don't have the intention of developing non-living creatures since my living creatures still have many problems for me to solve personally.

It was after developing the living creatures until they could sustain themselves, that was the time where I will focus on developing the underworld.

For now, I need to focus on the plane of life. At this moment, the souls become non-living creatures.

For the time being, since I don't need them, I killed them and made them dissipate into the underworld.

I can direct them back to the plane of life, but I want to see how reincarnation works.

Suddenly, dissipated souls were gathered by heaven and hell before the souls were given punishments and rewards through illusions.

That process only takes a second for each soul. But inside the illusion, the time the souls spent was unimaginable.

Now that the punishments and rewards were finished, heaven and hell started assessing the sins and benefits they brought to the domain.

After that, the souls entered the plane of reincarnation through the bridge.

Then the souls were randomly sucked away by the six vortices in the center of the plane. Those six vortices were the six paths of reincarnation.

In the legends, the six paths of reincarnation were connected to six realms.

The following realms were: Heaven, Hell, Hungry Ghost, Beast, Demon, and Human.

But those were only in legends; the six paths of reincarnation of my domain were only connected to the plane of life.

But for the remaining slots, I don't know which plane to connect.

Except for the plane of life, the existing planes: underworld, heaven, hell, reincarnation, and two bridges, were impossible to connect to.

In the future, I will probably create more planes. At that time, I will choose a suitable plane to be connected to the remaining slots.

For now, those things weren't to be minded. What I needed to do was to observe the first batch of souls being reincarnated for the first time.
