It was as good as they'd hoped, and even grumpy Tyler, whose lips looked like they were swollen, had fun. Everyone had a good time except Jackson, who appeared to be brooding the whole time.
"Soo… Are you two a thing?" Tyler questioned after seeing Kaiser and Jenna were arm-in-arm.
Kaiser walked up behind Jenna and hugged her, wrapping his arms around her and resting his head on her shoulder.
His fingers curled over Jenna's. He then murmured, "Perhaps after a few small dates."
Although Kaiser's first interest in Jenna was based purely on physical attraction, he quickly grew interested in this kind but shy young girl. He's open to giving it a go.
"Where do you live?" asked Jenna softly, almost whispering as she felt Kaiser's warm breath on her neck.
Not wanting to make her feel awkward, Kaiser grasped her hand and pointed, saying, "There."
Everybody was stunned; even moody Jackson couldn't help but stare at him in a state of wonder.
"Hahaha..." Melissa laughed at first, believing Kaiser was kidding, but then she saw that his expression didn't change, she said, "Y-you serious?"
The Empire State Building is what Kaiser was pointing towards. They'd have to give a limb or a kidney just to make it through the day in there.
"What the fuck does your parent do?" Jackson inquired, envy and feelings of inadequacy creeping up on him.
Kaiser's short response of "dead" prompted further awkward quiet.
Noticing his friends' accusatory glares, he opted to keep his mouth shut. He knew he needed to apologize, but his inflated ego was holding him back.
Kaiser then gave Jenna a business card and stated, "If you want to meet me, simply give this to the receptionist. She'll bring you in, or if you're not comfortable, she'll phone me. In addition, my contact number is also there, but it will take some time for the provider to activate"
Jenna's smile was really stunning. She appreciated Kaiser's kindness very much. No matter how well you know someone, it's not safe for a young girl to visit their room alone, much less someone she doesn't.
They had intended to do many more things, but after watching a movie and playing arcade, everyone decided to go home. Having a friend who is broody around your neck doesn't help, either.
"Will I see you again?" Kaiser stated as he held Janne's hands in his, with the two of them facing each other.
Jenne murmured, "Mmm... Close your eyes," prompting everyone to look about in surprise.
OHHH, it was happening! The group's whole attention was focused on the love birds.
Lightly grinning, Kaiser closed his eyes. Instead of a full-on lip lock, he felt a soft peck on each cheek and heard, "See you at the same spot at the same time tomorrow."
Jenna avoided making eye contact as she raced to her friends.
"Boohoo~" Melissa complained to her buddy childishly, fully anticipating seeing her friend's long-awaited first kiss.
After everyone had left, he looked at his watch and saw that it was nine o'clock.
"Well, time for me to start my grind."
…
When he got back to the hotel at 1:00 p.m., he just collapsed on the bed. He wasn't exhausted, but he was psychologically spent.
"Dian, why doesn't the Gamer System include the ability to grind mobs?" Kaiser inquired, his head resting on the cushion.
{Hello Kaiser, I hope you are doing well. And yes, thank you for asking. I am doing very well actually.}
The shock on Kaiser's face was evident. Since when had Dian been so sassy? When did she start feeling emotions?
{How was that Host? I learned that by watching "Friends" through the database. It was called sarcasm, and they loved it in the show, as laughter soon followed}
Kaiser is at a loss as to whether he should prevent Dian from viewing any more tv shows or teach her the proper manners for communicating with her master.
"You do you, Dian. But remember, I won't accept such disrespect." Kaiser said since he has little influence over Dian, he doesn't give a damn. This newfound instinct was never activated by Dian; he knew the AI to be trustworthy.
{My apologies to the Host. I shall be better educated!} Dian said, making Kaiser a picture of a robot saluting as an officer.
{The reason for this is because your system is not a complete Gamer System. Since most of its functions were discarded to add Nasuvers functions, such as Gacha and Companions tab. Those lost system functions, however, may be recovered via Quest rewards.}
'You are talking as if you are not part of the system,' Kaiser said, who was beginning to feel confused.
{I have some rudimentary power over the system thanks to my skill to take independent action with the Host's approval. But I'm not a part of it, and the system cannot reach me. I am a part of Host's soul, and only he has access to me.}
'Woah' This is huge news that Kaiser has found out from Dian. His concerns lessened, but they never went away entirely. The fact that Dian claimed to be a piece of his soul is the source of most of his anxiety.
'Dian, how did the system and you come into being?' Kaiser posed a really crucial question.
{It's believed that an unidentified seed discovered on Earth was responsible for the system's sudden birth. As a result of the union of two souls, I came into being. In your past life, the Host's soul was intertwined with that of Gilgamesh and Kaiser Elliott Asquith.}
That certainly explains his meteoric rise to prominence so quickly. He had both the soul of Gilgamesh and the soul of a newborn Same and different at the same time... It's like an altar, but not.
"Maybe that's what made me so obsessed with... myself?" A memory of Kaiser's fixation with Gilgamesh arose.
"I am not Gilgamesh; I am myself. I may love him, but I will always be myself." Kaiser said to himself, but rather loudly.
Kaiser isn't having an existential crisis; it was a simple debate.
You are shaped by your past and your experiences. Since he cannot recall anything about Gilgamesh, he is not Gilgamesh. Kaiser recognized the tyrant's flaws despite his high admiration for the man.
'Well, that explains my rapid phenomenal success,' Kaiser thought, realizing how he had gone from obscurity to multi-billionaire status in a matter of years with no prior knowledge.
This was due to Gilgamesh's skill, the Golden Rule, which is akin to a money-and-success-drawing magnet.
When the crimson portal opened, a little mound of money appeared. The skill was also useful for theft, as the odds of randomly picking someone with a full wallet are rather high.
{Host, you have saved 2 Weekly Gacha tickets. Just a friendly reminder}
'Use them all at once,' Kaiser said. He let Dian handle all of the system interaction since he was too lazy to do it himself.

How was it?
I like interacting with the readers, so make sure to comment as much as possible, though at least try to be at least positive for a better atmosphere. :)
Good criticism is always welcome in any given form.
The more I see readers respond, such as commenting, reviewing, and donating power stones, the more I feel good and motivated to pump out more chapters and never miss a day.
Writing is easy, but motivation is hard.
