A Group Of Friends.

"Hello May. I was wondering how your flight went." Ben turned to his spouse with a question. He had been saving and used most of his funds to ensure a pleasant trip. When he offered to take her up, May politely declined, explaining that she could be running late since she had an important thing.

May's thinking was now clear enough that she couldn't help but become emotional when she thought of her devoted spouse.

May let out a startled "Waaa" and then rushed into Ben's arms, where she immediately began crying uncontrollably. While she was traveling, a lot of different thoughts ran through her head. As she drew closer to her house, the burden of her guilt nearly suffocated her completely.

When she thought about her husband, it caused her to burst into uncontrollable sobs.

"What's wrong, honey?" Ben's voice was full of concern as he ran his fingers through her hair.

May sees her husband's caring expression, she doesn't have the heart to tell him about her infidelity.

"I-I was just stressed with Peter. Sorry dear." May pulled herself together and dried her eyes.

Ben's expression relaxed, he repeated his warnings about the hardships of the voyage without a man, but she paid little attention. She had just won the lottery and was too ecstatic to show Peter.

Since he was the reason for not being able to produce a child, he knows how much May yearned to be a mother; Ben shared May's feelings of guilt. They've considered adopting, but they haven't made up their minds.

Ben scooped Peter up in a hug and said, "Look how cute he is!"

It didn't take long for the tension to ease, but May's thoughts remained in chaos.

'I hope we never meet again.'

Walking through the streets of New York City in the early twenties, Kaiser saw that it was alive with people, from street performers to those selling hot dogs to a handful who were asking for money or side employment.

Almost a month has passed since he first set foot in the Marvel Universe. His outward look was the only thing to change. He is 17. His physical appearance was altering; he had grown taller, over 6 feet, and his muscles had become thicker and stronger.

He is now engaged in his typical criminal behavior of snatching wallets from passers-by. So far, he has stolen $2,000 from people wearing suits.

He sat down at a hot dog stand, grabbed a dog, and looked around him, taking note of the individuals he saw and how they were acting and dressed. Basically, he needed to get rid of his boredom.

"Hey!"

When Kaiser turned to his left, he saw a young woman, maybe in her teens or early twenties, approaching nervously. Meanwhile, a huddle of cheering friends stood behind her, chatting and urging her on.

Kaiser said, "Yes." What was going on was not news to him.

"Hi, my name is Jenna. I-I… I mean, m-my friends and I are hoping you could hang out with us?" Jenna asked. She was pretty lovely with her brown wavy hair, ocean blue eyes, and freckles on her nose.

Kaiser felt this would be a fun way to kill some time, and he saw that the other men were gazing at him with envy when a lovely girl came up to him.

"Sure, I am Kaiser. So, what are we doing?" Kaiser extended his hand and asked.

Jenna became so ecstatic that she didn't respond. Instead, she hurried back to her friend and pulled them.

"Haa..." Jenna was breathing heavily, but after a short deep breath, she continued, "We plan to go to the new Keanu Reeves movie Constantine, then go to Arcade, Basketball, H-"

Thankfully, her friends intervened before she passed herself out. Making her feel even more embarrassed.

"What's up with the unusual hair color and eyes, Homeboy?" a boy with a scowl on his face questioned.

The first thing that sprang to him was "cliche."

A guy who has a massive crush got mad that "his" girl is interested in someone. And he thought he was better than that someone.

"Can't say. Born with white hair, the doctor said Vitamin deficiency. And red eyes are part of the family." Kaiser cocked his head and stared down, making the guy unknowingly squirm.

The other boy replied, "That's wicked!"

On the way to the theatre, Kaiser struck up a conversation by asking, "So, are you from the same school or college?"

Five people total, three females and two males. Jenne, the girl who always had a smile on her face, was the first.

Melissa, the second, is funny and chatty. She had stunning green eyes and short blonde hair.

Vanessa, the third, was timid and quiet. Although she was not as stunningly gorgeous as Jenne, her presence put people at ease despite her nerdy appearance.

The boys' names are Jackas- *ahem*… Jackson seems to have a massive crush on Jeena. And the second one is a good-looking guy named Tyler, who is dating Melissa.

"We're all taking a year off before enrolling at Manhattan College!" Jenna replied quickly.

All the other girls shook their heads in response to Jenna's enthusiasm.

"What about you?"

After some thinking, Kaiser responded, "Not much. I completed my education. Taking a year off to do nothing and have fun, just like you."

"Want a smoke?" asked Jackass-... *ahem* Jackson, as he took a cig from his pocket.

In response, Kaiser reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette pack, revealing a shocking sight to everyone.

"That's Camel! Where did you get that? They are freaking expensive and hard to find!" replied Tyler, who seemed to be excited that Kaiser was holding a premium cigarette pack.

Tyler and Melissa took one with a happy smile, and Jackson instead lit up his own cheap Marlboros.

Kaiser saw that everyone in the gathering had their cigarette except Jeena, who was looking at him... Or his lips?

"Here," Kaiser said as he handed her his cigarette from his mouth. Which was lit and used.

Jenna's cheeks were flushed, and she quickly snatched it and placed it on her lips.

"Filtered?" asked Jenna after taking a puff.

Though it caught Kaiser off guard, he didn't give it much thought since he figured that in the early 20s, women smoked just as often as males.

As expected, by the time they arrived, the cinema was crowded.

"Fast, or the tickets might be sold out!" Melissa forced everyone to the box office for tickets. But alas, everything was sold out, even evening tickets.

Jackson's subtle jab at Kaiser, "Tch... We should've immediately come here," indirectly suggested that Kaiser was to blame for their late arrival.

Kaiser spoke softly in Jeena's ear, "Give me a minute, love," and then he walked away. Leaving a shocked Jeena behind, whose cheeks were now bright red.

In just a few short minutes, Kaiser arrived with six first-class seats in the far rear of the theatre.

"Oh~ I am already liking him," Melissa whispered to Jenna, causing her to pout.

Tyler responded, "Word~" relieved that his date hadn't been spoiled.

Kaiser's look morphed into one of regret as he said, "Too bad, one of the tickets is, unfortunately, all the way in the front."

Tyler muttered "sorry" to Jackson, knowing what was going on and not wanting to lose the opportunity to be with his sweetheart in the rear. 'The Jackass should not have thrown the jab in the first place.'

"Umm..." Vanessa, a kind girl as she was, was ready to offer herself, but before she could say anything, she was shut up by Melissa, who pinched her.

Jackass's once-sparkling eyes were chilly, and his visage became expressionless. It was his idea to get everyone together, his car to drive them here, and his money to buy them everything they wanted for breakfast and lunch, and now they were throwing him out. (Pray for this lost soul.)
