Chapter 56
“You need to cover your eyes with this.”
Percy snickered as he complied. “Okay. Done. What’s next?”
“Stay here for a few more minutes,” Rohan whispered in Percy’s right ear. “We will be right back.”
Percy wanted to protest, but he suppressed the temptation and did as he was told. After several moments, he could smell Diego’s and Rohan’s unique scents. He couldn’t deny he was more than a little apprehensive as the two alphas slowly guided him out of the car. He was thrilled when the soft sound of the crashing waves grew louder. He could also detect the sinking sensation as he walked across the sandy beach. Then there was the salty odor from the sea before his mouth watered at the delicious aroma of what he presumed had to be cheese and some other food. He was also surprised by the scent of lavender. He didn’t think there would be any lavender on or close to the beach, especially since the weather was growing cooler. It was almost winter, after all.
