The Black Veil's Evil Plan

Tonight the Queen looks very restless, she can't sleep at all, finally she decided to go to the King's residence, when she got there, the Queen looked at the King with a pale face and she looked very restless.

"What's wrong Queen? that the Queen came here late at night," asked the King to the Queen.

"I will collect a noble promise, please bring the Prince into the palace," replied the Queen with teary eyes.

"Why so suddenly?" asked the King.

"He is a grown man, he is 17 years old, he is not a child anymore, he must have been able to accompany His Majesty," explained the Queen reassuringly to the King.

"It's still the Crown Prince who will be the next King," replied the King firmly.

"The Prince is also your noble son," said the Queen with a sharp look.

"I just want the Prince to stay in the palace, don't keep him from his mother," continued the Queen as if threatening the King, she stood up and paid respects to the King and left.

The King was silent, he thought hard about what he would do next.

"Hey who threw this? Get out!" Eun Ha shouted.

"Wait, this is candlenut seeds, right? Is there a candlenut tree around this?" Baek Hyeon asked Eun Ha.

"There is a candlenut tree on the hill, why is that?" asked Eun Ha confused, Baek Hyeon was silent, it seems Baek Hyeon thought of something.

"You better go into the house not in the yard, I'll go first, I have something to check," Baek Hyeon said then ran out of Mr. Moju's house.

"Wait~gu, thank you," Eun Ha said quietly because she hadn't had time to thank Baek Hyeon yet.

Baek Hyeon went to the hill, he saw a lady who was lying covered in blood, there was no one there.

Baek Hyeon checked the lady's pulse and found that she was still alive, then Baek Hyeon picked up the lady-in-waiting and took her to Mr. Moju's house.

"Healer! Healer! Mister Moju!" called Baek Hyeon from Mr. Moju's yard.

Chin Sun came from outside, he was very surprised to see someone carrying a palace maid who was covered in blood.

"Dad, Dad!" called Chin Sun panic then he went inside the house to call his father.

Mr. Moju came out he was surprised and told him to bring the lady in.

"What happened?" asked Mr. Moju in surprise.

"Please save him sir," said Baek Hyeon.

Mr. Moju treated the lady-in-waiting's wound, the wound was quite deep and the lady-in-waiting was in critical condition.

Eun Ha comes and sees a lady covered in blood being treated by her uncle.

Blood just kept coming out, then Mr. Moju stitched the sword wound on the lady's back.

Eun Ha gets warm water to compress the lady, she's gone through her critical period.

The lady-in-waiting must always be watched because she is not yet conscious.

"You went to the hills at night like this and found him?" Eun Ha asked curiously.

"The hill? Why did you go to the hill?" asked Mr. Moju curiously too.

"Don't you suspect, how can a pecan seed suddenly appear in your yard and it doesn't fall but someone throws it at us," replied Baek Hyeon.

"Pecan seeds?" asked Mr. Moju.

"Earlier when we were in the yard there was someone who threw candlenut seeds but didn't know who," said Eun Ha explaining it to Mr. Moju.

"How is the lady-in-waiting doing now?" Baek Hyeon asked.

"He's past his critical period," Mr. Moju replied.

"Please take care of the lady-in-waiting, Master and I'll let you go home first," said Baek Hyeon and then paid his respects to Mr. Moju.

Eun Ha walked him to the house.

"Wait, thanks for the shoes and sorry for the trouble," Eun Ha said to Baek Hyeon.

"Just take care of your feet and get well soon," replied Baek Hyeon then continued his steps while waving.

On the way, Baek Hyeon thought about the lady-in-waiting, what actually happened, who killed the lady-in-waiting and who threw the hazelnut seeds at them.

Baek Hyeon suddenly stopped he remembered what his father said to his subordinates.

"Kill him," the words came to his mind.

"Does it have anything to do with that? I have to find someone who threw the pecan seeds" Baek Hyeon muttered to himself.

Then Baek Hyeon continued on his way, he realized that someone was following him but he continued on his way to go home.

He ran in the middle of a residential area, apparently someone was after him. They were dressed as ninjas and their faces were wearing slayers so Baek Hyeon couldn't recognize any of them, Baek Hyeon hid between people's houses.

"They're all in danger," Baek Hyeon muttered to himself.

When he felt that things were starting to be safe, Baek Hyeon ran towards Mr. Moju's house but he was blocked by five ninjas.

They attacked Baek Hyeon, he fought them with his bare hands. Baek Hyeon took the wood in front of people's houses.

"Sreng!"

The wood split in two, Baek Hyeon fought them with all his might, Baek Hyeon was forced to use his strength, Baek Hyeon's hand gave off a white light and shaped it into a lump of ice and struck them all in the chest. The ninjas fell. Baek Hyeon ran to Mr. Moju's house.

When Baek Hyeon arrived at Mr. Moju's yard the atmosphere was very quiet, Baek Hyeon barged into Mr. Moju's house, he saw Chin Sun was injured and asked for help, Baek Hyeon approached Chin Sun.

"What happened?" Baek Hyeon asked.

"Help me, I don't want to die," said Chin Sun, crying for help.

Baek Hyeon checked all the rooms but there was no one, only things lying around in a mess.

Baek Hyeon checked the room where the lady-in-waiting was being treated, but the lady-in-waiting was no longer in the room. Baek Hyeon approached Chin Sun and carried her out of the house looking for a healer. He came to the healer's house in the city, the healer was shocked by Chin Sun's severe wound, he treated it.

"What's all this? Why didn't those people hurt me, but Mr. Moju's family situation is a mess, they've all disappeared, what are they really looking for. Does it have anything to do with father or anyone else? What did the lady-in-waiting do that she had to be killed?" Baek Hyeon mumbled full of questions.

"Master," called the healer, then Baek Hyeon approached him.

"He can still be saved, let him rest here until he is fully recovered," said the healer.

"Okay, but can I meet him first, I have something to ask," Baek Hyeon said to the healer.

"I don't think so, sir, the patient needs rest because too much blood has come out," replied the healer.

"I will come here tomorrow, please take good care of him," said Baek Hyeon then left him.

Arriving at home, Baek Hyeon kept thinking who did this, Mr. Moju and Eun Ha where are they now, are they okay or not.

"If what they want is the lady-in-waiting, why did they bring Mr. Moju and Eun Ha?" Baek Hyeon muttered.
