Game of Thrones: A second chance.

The story of a simple Lycan, lucky enough to get a second chance at a new life, going through the world unimpeded and trying his best at living his life as he goes. And with how his old life used to be, he didn't plan to waste it. On my first try at writing, I will try my best, but as English is not my first language, I hope you enjoy this story for what it is. If you enjoy, show your support. Or have a comment on how I could get better at writing. I would appreciate it. -- disclaimer -- I do not own Game of Thrones or any related information. I also do this for the fun of it, so go easy on me if the update rate of the novel is not constant sometimes. Covert art comes from the net, I don't own it, just thought it looked cool. Also trying to develop the story as best as I can. There will be a big backstory at the start. But I hope you can enjoy it. And one last thing, ill try to update 3 or 4 times a week.

Chapter 2: Road to Winterfell.

I started to search for bandits around the woods near Karhold. It took me almost two months to find some bandits. They were resting, it was high hours of the night, You could see a majestic full moon in the sky. And that just gave me moŕe strength.

It was easy with my power to kill these untrained bastards, but my mind wouldn't let me. How can someone that has never killed anyone be able to do it? So I let my true self out and gave in to my instincts. something that in my old life was a taboo.

A whole life of being restraint leads to when I let myself go I was uncontrolled. The exact moment I could feel the change I knew what true happiness was. My whole brain was going overdrive, my body without the slightest regret, the hard and sad memories of my old life started to seem not as important as they used to be.

The rest that I remember is the feeling of blood flowing through my mouth, my paws painted red, and corpses falling out until they were none else except me in this part of the forest.

My true self was black as the night with great red eyes that could intimidate anyone. And that allowed my full body, painted in blood, be as majestic as always.

As soon as my massacre ended, I could feel a strong power entering my body. My true self started to grow again, at an incredible rate, until it was at 1.65 meters in my wolf form, surpassing by far my old family head. When my transformation stopped, I returned to human form, my height was now 2 meters, which I thought was quite nice, having in mind I was only eight years old, but no one would be able to know this.

Now for the first time in any of my lives, I felt complete. the rush of the hunt, my instinct, for the first time in my life, were not caged. And it felt like I was liberated. I didn't regret what I just did but took my time to savor the feeling my first hunt brought me.

With all of this done, it was time to recruit my first beta. Someone with potential, that could be a lot of help. And I hope the bite will have the healing effect I think it will. And even some brain injuries could be cured, with the change.

So that's how my journey to Winterfell started.

The trip in my wolf form took me half the time it should have taken, running through the road, the woods, the towns it was liberating.

During the trip, I also encounter bandits. Weak like the rest, and the thrill of the hunt was exhilarating. Also, it helped me to accept even more this new life of mine.

As Winterfell got closer, I returned to my human form, cleaned myself up, put the clothes on, that I so hard saved to buy, the ones that didn't look like ragdolls. And advance on to be admitted to enter Winterfell. It wasn't difficult to enter and stroll around, I just had to be careful no te enter zones that would make me look suspicious.

I was not important enough to draw attention to myself. And that makes it easier to operate. As I make way to the stables searching for my target. I was able to spot a young Robb stark practicing the sword with young Jon snow. And just as I saw them, I remember the end of the stark family, and just knew I had to help them even a little bit before leaving.

And again. Because of how I always handle things, I ended doing everything different as to how it was planned. An example of this is all the wrong decisions that lead me to my death in my past life. I knew I had no obligation to the starks, nor a reason to help, but I didn't care. Life always brings you surprises, and I wanted to act as I please, so little actions like that of what I was planning wasn't a big deal.

I had to search for a long time. Until I finally found lady stark, Catelyn. And for what I wanted to do I needed a secluded location. Enough to not be discovered. and this was the perfect location. She had a worried look on her face and was reading a letter. Probably about the development of the war, so without she finding my exitance I enter the room.

"Hello lady stark," I said as I make my way through the room.

Instantly her face changed from worried to cold. She looked at me like trying to figure out who I was.

" Who are you, what are you doing here, coming here for my life?" she asks while looking straight at me. I couldn't see the least bit of panic nor fear in her eyes.

"Don't worry I just came to make you a proposition you might be interested in" I said as I sat in a nearby chair.

I could see in her eyes that she didn't believe me. So I continue to speak.

"What I can offer you and your family is something a lot of people would kill to get. I can offer you power, enough of it so that you don't have to worry about your family anymore," I said as I wanted to appeal to her feelings to protect her family.

"A lot of people can offer power," she said without the slightest hesitation.

At this point, I knew she was not impressed with what I was saying. I had to make an impact so she would start taking me more seriously. So I simply stud up from the chair, took my pants and shirt off, under the wary eyes of lady stark, and without thinking too much about it, I change to my true self.

I could instantly see the change in the face of lady stark. A giant black wolf will shock anyone, even more, when it comes from a young adult. As I knew I had done what I needed, I change back and put back my pants and shirt. As the rest of my clothes got ripped apart

"Can we talk seriously now?" I ask looking straight at her.

Now she was looking at me with a weird expression.

"What are you," she said after a moment of hesitation.

"I'm just a passerby that happens to have a little karma with house stark, but you can call me David," I said, thinking of how history would change with the new Lycan family of house stark.

"Well David, what do you propose," she said, looking at me like she was seeing a ghost.

"As I said, I can offer your whole family power, and everything I ask is a simple servant of your house," I said as seriously as I could, looking at her.

She looked conflicted with what I had just said, the starks have always been know for their honor and loyalty. we spend in silence a while until she managed to get enough courage to look at me and ask

"Who," she said worryingly.

"Hodor," I replied. She looked at me like I had lost my mind. I couldn't blame her, because, Well, we all know why that would make no sense.

But I trusted my plan, so I waited.

"What power con you offer us," she said while at the same time she looked at me like she was trying to decipher me.

" the great power of the Lycan," I responded.

And she just looked at me with visible confusion in her eyes.

"you will know when the times comes," I finished.

I smiled because I knew I was successful in getting her attention.

As Eddard stark was currently not in Winterfell. I would have to wait until the rebellion was stopped. To meet with him, the head of the house stark.

But that didn't bother me, this was the start of my story and I wouldn't change a think about it.

My time in Winterfell was as pleasant as it could get. I got to know almost every child stark, and o tried to guide them so that their future would be better. I paid special attention to the young snow, who I know has the potential for great things.

And I didn't forget to befriend the giant Hodor, my future beta, and like in the series he is a half-wit. I truly hoped the bite would heal it, I knew that what I was doing would change the story in ways I couldn't imagine, but I didn't care. At this stage, having a good time was more important to me.

Like this, I was able to get close to every member of the house stark. Catelyn still didn't fully trust me, but my offer was too good to not tried it at least.

Like this time passed. The rebellion was about to be stopped. And as in the original story, Eddard was now en route to Winterfell victorious. And almost a year has passed.

My wait was finally gonna end. Now I could see lord stark entering Winterfell and was already aware of my presence and purpose. As soon as he was finished saying hi to his family he took me to his solar.

I entered the solar behind him, took my cloak off, and closed the door.

"What are you trying to get out of my family," he said as soon as I closed the door.

I smile at him.

"How untrusting of you, lord stark. I just want what I assume your wife has already informed you of," I said, looking at him with a smug on my face.

What I said seem to piss him off, as he took his sword out of its sheat and pointed it at me.

" Who are you taking for a fool," he asked while raising his voice at me.

I just looked at him and transform into my true self for a brief moment. But it was enough. As soon I turned back I could see the astonishment of lord stark. and then I noticed that all my clothes got ripped apart, and I was completely naked in front of lord stark. so took the cloak I had taken off and dressed with it.

"I could offer you power the one you never imagine to have, create the first Lycan family in this world," I said with a proud smile on my face.

"You will have similar power to me, be the wolves that house stark are destined to be. I am offering you a chance to change yours and your family's destiny" I continued and looked at him waiting for his answer.

"I accept, but I still don't trust you, David. Life has taught me that when something seems too good to be true is always because it is," he said as seriously as ever.

"When fate is in place, nothing is too good to be true. Also, I will turn Jon snow. His Targaryen and stark blood will help you in the future, I responded, expecting a big reaction from lord stark.

And I got it. He looked at me like I was a monster. I didn't know what he was thinking, but I speculated he was thinking in the lines of a messenger of the old gods who had come to reward his fate. I wasn't worried either, I knew he was certain that what I was promising him could be achieved. maybe talking about Jon's real identity was what convinced him to at least try.

So I just kept waiting. letting him process all the information I had given him.

"I don't know how you know this, but since you know I will accept, I never wanted to mistreat him. This can be counted as a little atonement for the life he has lived," he said, again looking at me more tangle than ever.

"Wonderful, we are gonna start when you see fit, lord stark," I said, full of expectation on what was gonna happen next.

A few days passed. I suppose lord stark had to finish dealing with the remnants of the rebellion.

finally, all the stark family was in front of me, Including Hodor. My future beta, being him also the one to be the first to taste the power of the bite.

So the first thing I did was show them what they will become. My true self broke through my clothes, and a giant wolf appeared in front of everyone, startling almost everyone.

I knew the fun was about to begin.

As I am just starting this story, I decided to upload another chapter a little longer than I will usually publish, so I hope you enjoy it. But after this one, I will try to stick to updating three or four times a week.
