The Clock tower strikes Twelve

It was early morning when I woke hearing the icy rain splatering agains't the window of my bedroom. I slowly roll out of bed, not able to sleep from the noise of the rain and scared if I close my eyes i'll be back in that horrible lab from my nightmare. So I go out into the kitchen to make something to eat as the rain beats agains't the glass of the sliding door. "I wonder if I should apply for a mission today something to keep my mind off things or try solving a old unsolved case by myself for fun" I think to myself, bored of never being able to talk to anyone. By the time I made some eggs and burnt a pan. I go over to the living room to eat my breakfast out there, but I notice my uniform lying on the table were I had set it the day before. "Huh I almost forgot about that" I say setting my plate down and grabbing my uniform. The uniform was a darker blue with a jacket and on the ground beside the table was my boots. So after breakfast I got dressed in my new uniform, which didn't look that bad comparing that the quickest uniform I could get was a men's small. So I grabbed my work bag military hat, and umbrella and headed off in the pouring rain to work. Outside it was pouring buckets of rain so I had to run to work trying not to get completely soaked. But by time I got to work I was drenched. "Good mourning Nora" Risa says picking up her coat. "Good morning Risa, are you going somewhere" I say setting down my bag at my desk. "Yeah, there was a murder so I have to go down to the seen" Risa says walking over to colonel Mustang. I notice colonel mustang is also wearing his coat. "Are you both going to the crime seen" I say hoping I can come along. Before they can answer I add in. "Can I come" I say getting excited. "No you stay here, I need you to" Mustang pauses "to take care of my books on my desk" Mustang say pushing off my question. "Fine" I say disapointed that I can't come because everyone thinks I'm so young. "But after that I'm going to go get some books at the city library if I don't have anything else to do" I say. "Okay" Risa says as they turn around and leave. So I took off my coat and got to work taking care of the office room and the books on Roy's desk that by the time I was done the rain was only a soft drizzle so I grabbed my coat and headed out. The city wasn't as busy as I suspected so I decided to take some shortcuts to the library. On the way to the city library I saw the massive clock tower in the middle of the square. And at the square I noticed a suit of armor and a teenage boy with blonde hair pulled into a braid wearing a red coat sitting in the rain on the edge of the clock tower's steps. Immedilatly I reganize the two boys as Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. So I start to walk over to them wanting to say hello, but I stop in my tracks as I notice a soldier running towards them. "Edward there's a killer on the loose in this area-" The soldier try's to say but before he can finish a man with sunglasses and a yellow and white jacket grabbs the soldier's face. After that it was like a horror movie the soldier fell to the ground with blood splattered everywere. As I stand there in horror as I watch the blood start to pool on the street rain falling. The man try's grabbing for Edward as the bell tower strikes twelve ringing it's bell throughout the square. Alphonse quickly grabbs Edward and runs as I stand there stiff from fear. The rain ponding against me as I stand there stunned. Seeing alchemy explosions go of a few hundred yards away I think quickly and decide to help the Elric brother's instead of just stand there and watch the rain fall. So I run after them droping my bag and umbrella on the street as head of towards the explosion. Hearing the clock tower strike It's last chime.
