The Results

I woke up with the sun shining in my face, I slowly open my eyes and I can hear the racket of the afternoon street below. I gaze over at the clock, 10:00 am. "Omg, i'm going to be late" I say panicking, grabbing my nice dress and putting it on. I dash over to the bathroom mirror and start brushing my hair as I look in the mirror I see my brownish blonde hair cut super short with my golden tabby cat ears sticking out. So I make sure to pin my ears down and put on a sunhat. "Ouch why is it so painful having my ears pinned down" I say cringing at the pain as I run out the door and down stairs to the lobby. Outside it was really busy because of the afternoon rush so being only five-feet tall didn't help. So by the time I got to the central miltery command office I was in pretty rough shape. Colonel Mustang was waiting for me at his office. Standing in the doorway gasping for air I made it just in time. "Are you okay, come in and take a seat" Mustang says, I immediately take a seat trying to catch my breath. "Sorry I sometimes lose my breath in cold weather or if i'm running" I say finally catching my breath.

"So you did past the exam and the military gives every state alchemist a code name" Mustang says grabbing a folder at his desk and opening it " and from now on you'll be known as the Golden Hunter Alchemist" Colonel Mustang says "weird name for someone so young I say" Mustang says handing me my state alchemist certificate. "Kind of flimsy paper for something important" I say as I grab the piece of paper. Mustang smirks. "So just wondering will I be receiving a military uniform to" I ask. Colonel Mustang looks down at his desk and starts flipping threw some papers then looks up at me. "ah, yes if you like but it might have to costumed made so you have to order one" He says handing me some more papers. "Anything else" I ask. "Yeah one more thing if you want you can go basically into any military building or library except the higher ups offices and if you like you can go and sign up for missions, but you have to ask your supervisor first" Mustang says. "But who's my supervisor" I ask looking up. "Me" Mustangs says smiling. "So if you need something you have to come to me or First Lieutenant Risa Hawkeye" Mustang says. "Ok, well see you tomorrow then" I say walking over to the door. "Oh and before I forget be careful there is a killer on the loose named scar he hasn't been spotted in the city yet but be careful" Mustang says before getting back to work. I walk out into the hall and I spot Risa carrying a ton of files. "Need some help" I say rushing over to help Risa and grabbing some files that were about to fall. "Oh thank you Nora, so did you get your certificate yet" Risa asks. "Yup, from now on I'll will be known as the Golden Hunter Alchemist" I say setting down the files on Risa's desk. " Well, I hope I'll see you around then" Risa says grabbing some other files of her desk. "Me to, well I have to get going so I guess I'll see you around sometime" I say leaving the room happy that I know at least know a few nice people around here. Then the rest of the day I went looking for apartments that the military was allowing me to rent because I was way to young to get one myself and I had no family. so by the end of the day I found a nice apartment and was moving the little things I did own in. And by time I was all moved in it was already night and I was tired so I decided to go sit out on my balcony on the fith floor to gaze out at the stars and city lights. "Looks like i'm getting closser and closer everyday" I wisper to myself looking at the sparkling city lights, not knowing that beneath the answers I was looking for was a secret far darker than any sin.
