Three years ago, my family was murdered, and I was just a helpless little girl who got lost in a dark, desolate forest. Due to the strength of our bloodline, our enemies broke into our home and killed everyone except me, because i managed to flee.
After getting lost in the forest where I ran from the assassins, I saw him sleeping near the tree. He was a mysterious figure, with an air of strength and wisdom surrounding him.
I cautiously approach him because I suspect he might be one of the assassins. I turn the blood on my fingernails into a knife using blood magic.
But he then woke up and saw me walking closely to him. His eyes widened with surprise, but instead of reacting with fear or aggression, he simply smiled. His calm demeanor and genuine curiosity put me at ease, making me question my initial suspicions.
He then seized a torch and lit it, at which point I caught a glimpse of his face. He is only three years older than me, and because of his unusual black eyes and hair, I find myself wondering about his origins.
He then inquires as to what I intend to do with the knife I was pointing at him.
"Hey, what are you trying to do with that knife?" the guy inquired to me.
"Are you one of them!" I responded
"What are you talking about?" He answered
"Are you one of the assassins? I exclaimed while shaking in fear that this guy might actually be one of them.
"I'm not a assassin, i'm just a adventurer" He replied
I don't trust the man so i keep pointing the knife at him, but then the assassins that following me caught up to me. They surround us, their eyes filled with malice as they draw their weapons. The man's calm demeanor suddenly makes sense - he was never the threat, but rather a potential ally in this dangerous game.
One of the assassins charged at me. By sheer luck, I was able to deflect his blow with the blood knife I had made, but I was unable to contain the force with which he hit me.
Which caused my knife to fly out of my hands in the direction of the mysterious man; he then caught it and stood up. The assassins turned their eyes toward him, waiting for his next move.
As the mysterious man held my blood knife, a glint of determination flashed in his eyes. With a swift motion, he expertly twirled the weapon in his hand, showcasing his skill. The assassins hesitated, unsure of how to proceed now that their target had found an unexpected ally.
The assassins leader remarked, "Hey, if you want to live, you can just go and forget everything about this, okay?"
"And let you guys kill this poor girl? hell no" He responded
The assassin yelled, "Then die with her!" The assassin then charged at him, tried to cut off his head, but the man managed to avoid it and quickly stabbed him ten times in the stomach.
As the life drained from the fallen assassin, the remaining members of the group exchanged uneasy glances. The unexpected ally's display of deadly precision shattered their confidence, leaving them uncertain of their next move.
The assassins then decided to attack him all at once, hoping to overwhelm him with their numbers. But little did they know that the man is a master at situations like this.
He dodges every attack they throw at him with ease, and he keeps dodging their attacks until the assassins stop attacking because they get tired.
"Are you guys tired cutting the air?" He asked to the assassins
"Shut up!" The leader of the assassins shouted
All of the sudden the assassins fell to the ground; all of them got a deep cut on their necks. Every assassin who was following me is now dead because of this mysterious man.
I was quite curious about what he did to the assassins, so I asked him about it: "Hey, how did you do that?" The guy looked at me and answered my question: "I just cut their necks while they were busy attacking me."
His response was calm and nonchalant, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. I couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and fear towards this mysterious man's incredible skill and composure.
"Anyway, can you tell me why these assassins want to kill you?" The man inquired. I then explained to him why the assassins want me dead. After explaining that they killed my whole family and my next, he then asked me, "Do you want revenge?"
I paused for a moment, contemplating his question. The thought of revenge had consumed me for so long, but now, faced with the opportunity, I hesitated. The man's piercing gaze seemed to search my soul, waiting for my response.
"Yes"
After that day, we went to get out of the forest to head to his home, where he could train me to get my revenge for my beloved family. He taught me everything that could make me stronger, he then become my master.
Despite being unable to use any magic, my master helped me learn how to control my unique blood magic and honed my physical strength and combat skills. Under my master guidance, I became a formidable force, ready to exact vengeance on those who had wronged me. With each passing day, my determination grew stronger, fueled by the memories of my lost loved ones.

After three months of training, I grew stronger than before, so he put me through my last test, which was to go back to my house to obtain the legendary sword my family has. As I returned to my abandoned house, the memories flooded back, reminding me of the happy times we had shared. The weight of the task ahead felt heavy on my shoulders, but I knew that retrieving the legendary sword would be the final step in completing my transformation into a force to be reckoned with.
He told me that there are guards inside the house, and they are guarding the legendary sword. He then also told me that I'm the only one who can wield the legendary sword my family got, so I really need to get it. After hearing all of that, it makes me wonder where he got that information.
I easily beat the guards, who are guarding the sword, and get the sword. The sword is a really beautiful red sword; it can enhance my blood magic skills and allow me to teleport anyone to the blood realm.
After getting the red sword, I got back to my master's home to see him and say my goodbye and thanks to him, but before I left, we took a picture, to commemorate the moment, i put the picture of him into my locket i was wearing today.
"But you said he went missing one year ago?" Kaizer asked
"After I left his home 2 years ago, I'm sending letters to him his replying them, and he is also sending letters to me too, to give me some advice. But last year, I sent many letters to him but got no replies, so I went back to his home and found him not there anymore." Scarlet replied
"You said you got a picture of him inside your locket, show it please, i wanna show his face" Kaizer asked
"Why are you so interested on my master, Kaizer? do you also wanna learn from him?" Scarlet Inquired
"No, the way you described him, remind me of someone i fought on the Redo city" Kaizer said
"Alright, here take a look, did you saw him?" Scarlet quickly said
Kaizer take a look at Scarlet locket to see the picture of her master, he then said "Yeah, i saw that face before, what is your master name?"
"Neo Bastion"
