The Gift From A God
Hicksbess stands in shock. He is nothing but a Qi-Gathering 1 layer. Up against a demon beast. Only disciples of the 8th layer of Qi-Gathering are allowed to hunt demon beasts. This is all new to Hicksbess.
(Hicksbess)
*thinking* "God damn it! I should've just ignored the voice now I'm going to die. Wait the voice said it would save me if I failed I have nothing to worry about!"
Then the word "MAYBE" begins to echo in his head.
(Hicksbess)
"Wait he said maybe he will save me so what am I gonna do if he doesn't save me? Damn, thinking about it now won't do anything for me, I just have to focus on killing that thing."
As Hicksbess surveys his surroundings he notices a fallen tree with a giant broken stick. It has many sharp points on its top that seem to be deadly
(Hicksbess)
"That stick looks like it can be a weapon, but will it work against this demon beast? It's smaller than me but it is still deadly. Crap I have no choice"
He runs towards the stick, the spiked hamster sees him start running and start running after him. He is scared out of his mind but he has the passion to live. He grabs the stick and when the spiked hamster jumps he puts the stick in front of him and positions the stick to where the spiked hamster will land on it

*thinking* "I've won"
But then he hears a cracking sound. He looks at the stick and notices it is starting to break. He looks at the sharp end of the stick and notices it didn't even stab into the spiked hamster's skin

*thinking* "You've got to be f***ing kidding me"
He dodges out of the way and is thinking of his next move. He is looking at the hamster and for some reason it looks disappointed

*shouting* "YOU LITTLE BASTARD YOU DARE LOOK DOWN ON ME"
*thinking* "Damn it, if only I knew some skills, I am too weak to even know any good martial arts"
The spiked hamster starts charging at him again. Suddenly Hicksbess' eyes light up in anger and he kicks it in the face

"HA TAKE THAT YOU LITTLE S**T"
The spiked hamster gets up without a scratch but looks incredibly angry. It charges towards Hicksbess but it is even faster this time. (It isn't really that fast it's just that Hicksbess is weak and is slower than his other brothers)
The spiked hamster rolls into a ball and hits Hicksbess, he managed to block it with his arms but now they have gashes and spiked in them
(From now on *'s indicate think because I am am tired of typing *thinking* like what a waste of time and when I type something is all caps that means shouting, please enjoy reading the rest)

*Damn it, my arms are done for*
Hicksbess' eyes light up once again and he starts charging at the spiked hamster. The spiked hamster rolls up into a ball but doesn't move. Hicksbess then starts punching the ball of spikes leaving even more damage on his arms. He comes to his senses once again and is in severe pain, there are spikes and gashes all overs his arms

*What the hell was I thinking, wait what the hell o wasn't even thinking it was like I suddenly did it on impulse*
The spiked hamster that is still in a ball starts rolling at him
(Hicksbess)
*Well, I guess it's over for me*
Once again his eyes turn red and are glowing with rage he sticks out one of his hands and shouts
(Hicksbess)
"THIRTEENTH HEAVENLY SKILL: FIRE BOLT"
Electricity starts emitting from his hand then it turns red and red bolts fly out of his hands and strike the spiked hamster. The hamster squeaks in agony then turns to ashes. Hicksbess is left laying on the floor then passes out.
Hicksbess awakens in a void unaware of what is happening
(Voice)
"You did well child "
A child like voice appears. Hicksbess looks around confused since it seems the voice is coming from all around him
(Hicksbess)
"Who are you?! And where am I?!"
*Wait a minute, "Child", that must mean*
"You're the voice from before aren't you"
(Voice)
"... I congratulate you on being able to kill a puny little hamster, I will reward you with this"
A box appears behind Hicksbess and is glowing yellow
(Hicksbess)
"What is this, do you think I will just open it. I bet there is something deadly in there"
(Voice)
"If I wanted you dead I would have called a stronger demon beast
Hicksbess stands shocked, "a being that is able to call upon demon beasts like nothing" He had never heard of such a being, not even the elders of the Pavilion are able to do such a thing.
(Hicksbess)
"So you were the one that called the demon beast"
He looks at the box
"I still don't trust you"
Suddenly immense pressure is put upon Hicksbess. The pressure is just like before to where he is laying face down on the floor.
(Voice)
"Maybe I was wrong about you, maybe I'll just kill you and find another"
(Hicksbess)
"WAIT DON'T"
(Voice)
"Then open the box"
The pressure is relieved. Hicksbess walks up to the box crouches down for the box is only 6 inches tall. He places a hand upon it
(Hicksbess)
*What if I don't open the box and just stall until he just lets me leave?*
(Voice)
"Do not stall and just open the damn box"
Hicksbess finally opens the box and finds a golden needle. The needle begins to float in front of him. It points towards him. It then stabs him in the forehead knocking him out
Hicksbess wakes up in his bed in his little shack house
(Hicksbess)
To himself "Hah so it was just a dream... a very realistic dream"
